Story 1: What an absolute mess, don't blame the dude for throwing in the towel with this absolute hell goblin of a woman. Hormones are one thing, no one should have to go through such a thing like OP did.
I’ve heard this story but not the update. I’m glad OP is getting a clean break from his ex and her toxic family. I also hope for the best for the brother who’s also tired of the bs.
Hormone imbalance can make people violent, it's not right but it does happen. My partners grandfather has a brain tumour and he's never been a violent man, very kind and reasonable, he's Been hitting his carers and family because he thinks they are trying to kill him not helping with his treatment.
She knew what she was doing, but at the same time she didn’t What I mean by this is she used “hormones” as an excuse because she chose to be abusive because she wants to be with AP. But what she failed to remember, their solid prenup where she will get nothing but what she brought into the marriage when divorcing, which would solely be her fault
Someone needs to explain to OP that postpartum depression is POSTpatrum, ie, after the baby is born. It’s not called “prepartum depression”. And it definitely does not start at 4 weeks into the pregnancy.
That's exactly the kind of thing people tell themselves when they're in an abusive relationship. They convince themselves that the abuse is the aberration and if they just put up with it for a little bit longer, it'll go away. It never does, of course.
A huge red flag is “she doesn’t let me go to her appointments”. Is she really pregnant will rush in my head, or is she pregnant with another man’s child and he is there at the appointments
And everyone would hate him for abandoning his pregnant wife. He's not man enough to handle being slapped by a girl. Very unfortunate but that's exactly how it would've gone down.
Ever notice how when people disrespect you or your property and you call them out on it, they always say something like "youre over reacting" or "you're being dramatic" when they were 100% in the wrong and in many cases participating in criminal acts against you? Yeah ok. You steal someone's property you owe them back that property or the worth of it.
For the last story, it's so crazy to me that the parents didn't simply ASK if it was okay for the nephew to play with the set BEFORE they opened a brand new item. That's just a basic courtesy thing. It doesn't matter whether they thought it was worth $30 or $3,000.
And also OPs brother. First of all, if you’re not going to help, stay far away like not even in the same place if possible. Second, don’t bring your kid. Third if a kid has to be involved don’t expect someone else to entertain them. Lastly and most importantly don’t steal.
I wouldn’t characterize it as stealing. To me, stealing requires some sort of bad intention. This was a combination of ignorance and entitlement/bad manners. First off, it’s not a toy if it’s in the sealed box with the hopes it will increase in value. Legos you open and build are toys. But why would you open anything that isn’t yours without asking first?
@@kconway2263 They took an item they didn't own with the express intention of gifting it to someone else. So yeah, they stole the Lego set because it held no value TO THEM. In their ignorance they deprived OP of a $300 item that he had collected and intended to keep. Surely the parents understand the concept of a collection.
This! Who opens a sealed box, of any type, in someone's home without permission? I have a friend who is a sister to me - we have literally trusted each other with our lives - and neither of us would open a sealed package in the other's home without at least asking first. As you said, it's just common courtesy.
It's interesting how the abusive wife basically turned into everything she hated about her own father. Also, I literally laughed out loud when the dad in story 2 tried to hand over $70. It's a _sealed collectible,_ dude!
Story 1: The story the wife is spinning is just chef's kiss of all the clichés. I'm sitting playing the world's smallest violin as nothing justifies what she put op through. Edit: ha called it!
Honestly, it’s hard to tell which would’ve been worse; trying to get rid of him through hitting Op or hitting him because her mother told her to do it. I’m of the belief that if they did it because a parent told them to then they’ll 1000% do it again.
Story 1: Honestly, I feel really bad for OP and the kid. The wife cheated on OP, the AP is a POS, and when her behavior to OP lead to the divorce, she realized just how big of a grave she dug because AP disappeared I seriously hope the kid finds good people, because I can't imagine the kid having a happy life in this situation
having a mother like that who keep lying, that kid going have a horrible lift and OP would gave that kid the world but having a shit parent like that will run it
"My parents are hoping we can make up-" Do they know that she hit you?! Edit: I was too outraged to continue listening and to hear the update that they didn't know before I typed that comment.
@@Diamondr11Blue they do now there is no actual grandchild. Had the kid been his. I’d imagine they would plead for reconciliation. Then when that doesn’t work ostracize OP and take in the stbxw and their grandchild. It’s wild the stories we’ve heard of what parents will do to their own children over “grand baby rabies”.
@@RobDaCajun They cared as soon as they found out it happened. He hid it from them. That’s why they wanted him to reconcile. Once they knew there was physical abuse, they no longer wanted him to save the marriage.
I like how in the first story, the cheating wife’s false story was actually a revamped version of her own story. I’m so glad that OP had the decency to ask the brother because if he didn’t, we wouldn’t know how vile she is.
I'm 38 and I build Gunplay Models, OP in the last story was completely justified in expecting a sealed box replacement for the set they stole. If I had a $300 gunpla and someone took that to give to my nephew I would expect the same.
And a good lesson for the parents, maybe if you don't want to spend 300 dollars on "a toy" that someone spent years collecting, then maybe, just maybe, don't give away people's stuff. Simple as that, if you don't have the means/want to replace a thing, don't take it.
Being older I am going to defend the parents very slightly. Yes they were wrong to give the set to the nephew, no disagreement there. But very likely they assumed, it's a toy, run to Wal Mart and spend 25 bucks or maybe 70 bucks to replace it if there is a problem.
@glennrishton5679 except that's not how life works. You don't get to decide "I'm gonna give you 25 bucks for something you were saving that's now worth 300" If they were that hard pressed to get the kid a lego, go get a lego, don't steal one from someone and then refuse to reimburse what it costs.
@@PJ-yi8cn Read my second sentence,, the one that begins with, "Yes they were wrong...." My point in saying that me being older means I have no idea how much such a Lego set would cost so they may think however incorrectly that $70 would be perfectly adequate.
💯 it doesn't matter if it's a Lego set, a jacket, or a car. If you take something without permission and that person ruins it. They need to replace the item or pay back the amount it cost. It doesn't matter if OP paid $100 for the Lego set it is now $300. You break it.. you buy it!
Theres no excuse to behave like this to your husband who is doing everything he can to support you while your pregnant. Idc what your mother says. You know his character. It makes no sense. That woman went out of her way to destroy her marriage. No one should be able to convince you to mess up your marriage. I had a feeling it was an affair. I was thinking the baby might not even be his. Just divorce if you arent happy, dont cheat. It never ends well. Smh. 😒😪
Yup. Like its all bad, but cheating and starting to secretly abusing your partner because AP's baby is cooking and you don't really want to be msrried to the former anymore, just doesn't make sense. Fucking leave
The wife's initial story reminds me of the story where the OP had taken on an extra job at work for ot hours and give a real boost to his pay. Something he discussed with his wife who developed postpartum psychosis. Her friend egged it on, convincing her every late night was cover for cheating. OP got kicked out. But one day came home to see the house ransacked and newborn wailing. He takes his kid and uses the incident to force psychtriatic care. Things start to be looking to get better, but then in a psychosis state had a car wreck and died, leaving the OP a widow with a newborn. And his final dilemma was the friend, who egged his wife's psychosis, wanted to speak at her funeral. But turns out the wife is just a cheater and a liar. Sad, but at least if the child ain't OP's he can divorce cleanly.
@@maxamillion26093 it's the last update. OP contacted her brother who told the truth. Roughly 4 months before she got prego, she started cheated with a coworker. So she started acting psycho trying to claim OP was abusing her. When that didn't work she left for her mom's. The AP was at the hospital when baby was born but ditched not long after. Wife figured she could make up a story and OP would cave. OP didn't buy it, dug deeper and uncovered the truth via brother. Paternity test showed he was not the father. So the divorce will at least be a clean break without child support.
@@maxamillion26093 unless you're talking about the story it reminded me of. That wife wasn't a cheater, just going through postpartum psychosis and her "friend" was feeding into her psychosis until she has a psychotic break making hersle unsafe for herself and the kid. Fortunately the kid won't remember, and that OP became a widow and single father before any divorce could go through.
@@billwithers4762 yeah I was going to comment about the story right when the update happened (when his ex wife told op that story) and afterwards, I was so speechless.
Post partum is after the birth. All that happened while she was pregnant is something else. OP found out just how far out his wife was. As for the Legos, that was not a toy, it was a collectible. Dad stole a collectible.
First story: Man, that was convoluted, but at the end of the day, it's just a liar that's lying. Good on OP for having a prenup. If you get married, you should have one. It saves alot on lawyer fees, if nothing else.
Last story.... OP is NTA! I don't do Legos myself but at 67, I still build plastic scale models. I was PO'd when my parents tossed mine out when I left for military service in the late 1970s. Some of those models bring anywhere from $100 to $300 now! Even current kits, being far more complex and detailed can be pretty expensive. Then adding in the time, effort, tools and materials to build them adds to the overall cost. So, I can definitely commiserate with OP and identify with him.
Things I'm noticing as massive red flags in the first story: 1. She slapped him for not fulfilling a WANT. Getting her snacks is not a need. 2. She stopped all chores 5 WEEKS into the pregnancy. For context, a person can get the less invasive pill abortion up until 11 weeks of pregnancy. She was not carrying a baby by 5, the most she was feeling was morning sickness and hormonal changes. 3. All the other more obvious red flags like missing the birth and being verbally abused. OP has every right to go full scorched earth here.
you don't even really start getting big until the third trimester. in the first trimester you just have a clump of cells, and i think it only gets as big as your fist in the final week. in the second trimester the baby grows, but you don't get big, you just look like you put on 10 to 20 pounds. until the third trimester, you can do everything easily, and honestly, once you get big the only things you have trouble with are bending down and getting up. everything else is just discomfort, besides being on your feet for too long, but thats a weight thing, not a size or fragility thing. of course, if you have an issue this doesn't apply, but if you need to be bedridden before the second month of pregnancy is over with, you have some serious problems and its likely the pregnancy is going to either kill you or you'll miscarry. so like, her stopping all chores that early in is a clear red flag.
Remember: In 99% of cases the momment a significant other lays hands on the other. The relationship is dead. There's nothing left salvaging. There are cases where you have to stay in the relationship (kids, no escape) but youre not staying for them.
Not enough love triangles between side characters, I'm afraid. The ex MIL also needs an eyepatch, and there needs to be an actual love interest for OP that isn't his evil ex.
Wasn't there a similar story where a man was an abused slave for his pregnant wife? His wife made 9 months of his life hell. If the food was "slightly off", she throws it at him. She calls him worthless when he is the one making money and doing the chores. Basically belittled him and argued every day. When she finally had the baby, she was "back to normal." Then wanted another one. Turns out, this is her character, the man was too blind to see it until his family pointed it out. She just kicked it up to ×10 when she is pregnant thinking she can get away with it.
This is never a normal behavior for pregnant women and I know women that had high risk pregnancies, were hospitalized half the time and 0% violence. Maybe some had crazy cravings and the husbands had to rush to the store but anything else is bs.
Now I hope, that 12 year old who recently started menstruating and turned into similar kind of monster, because social media said so, and list of shit to demant and get away with, doesn't start on these pregnancy stories as well
Ah yes, I remember this story. The sad tale of the stay at home wife who cheated on OP with a coworker. I've heard that when OP was asked about this discrepancy, they deleted their account. Good times.
I mean, most stories on Reddit are fake, just try to view it as entertainment and discussion about fictional characters, rather than an actual person suffering through unbelievable nonsense 😂
Story 1: what kind of tactic was OP’s ex trying to pull? Why did they concoct such an unnecessarily elaborate story??? How on earth do people like this exist?
good morning guys. first of all story 1 might be fake according to the comments on the final update post because: 1.) it all happened too fast! in 3 days, the paternity test and everything? pfft... 2.) she's a stay at home mom, no? where did co-worker come from? or was it the neighbor? or was she screwing a vacuum? 3.) very karma farming tbh. 4.) they also deleted their acc after getting called out for it anyways it was still a wild story lmaoo! story 2 made my blood boil tbh
story 1 is very likely fake, but story 2 is possible real. i know because my mom doesn't understand why i won't give my nieces my dolls i saved from childhood. parents not understanding that just because its a toy doesn't mean that its only for kids is infuriating.
honestly it doesn't really bother me whether a story is real or fake, but it's annoying when people try to play detective about it, like yall just let me believe these messy stories are real i need the tea and it's more entertaining to think of them as real 😂❤✨
@avashnea technically it does, in a positive way. The simple act of paying rent make it impossible to claim the item taken is anything but OPs. It also allows it to be taken as a criminal vs civil matter much more easily. Living rent free with family makes it rather difficult to prove non-consent of sharing/giving. A renter has way more leverage and protections
Story 1: well, she had to make it as heartbreaking and tearjerking as possible to get you to take her back to after how terrible she’s been to you. At least long enough to make you legally responsible for the baby and force you to pay child support. But now she can’t even do that, and with nothing left to lose she’s just going to take all her frustration out on you to make herself feel better. Not even realizing she’s digging herself into an even bigger. But it doesn’t matter it’s not not your problem. She’ll probably try to find ways to make you suffer, but there’s nothing she can really do anymore. So get the divorce over with change all your locks and password, and completely block her from your life.
2:54 oof if she actually took OP's name off the birth certificate, I'm pretty that screws herself out of claiming child support from OP, because he wanted to be involved with his sons life, but she didn't and I don't think it's post Parton, odds are she was planning on being distant so she can live off child saport
15:40 I think the reason OP felt they need to put on Reddit was because it's the parents. Me very hard to disagree with your parents on stuff like that even if you know you're in the right it's sometimes doesn't feel like it. But by putting it online can get other people's perspectives and read other people's explanations on what's the right thing to do.
Story 2: OP’s parents are bad for giving something of son’s that he paid for with his own money. Seriously keep your hands off of other people’s crap. You do NOT own your child and you do NOT own their things But the fact the dad gave $70 to OP, he knows it could cost $70… that is a LOT of money that you’d think they would think “this might not actually be a toy”
My mom had postpartum after my second oldest brother, she told me she nailed the window shut cause she wanted to throw him out the window, she cried because she hated herself for her mind hurting her and wanting to hurt her baby. It might be why I’m 10 years younger than him.
I never understand the legos are for kids mentality, I am a 37 woman who likes to do lego sets, a couple of weeks ago My younger brothers new girlfriend mock me and told me I Will never get married, well like half and hour later enters My husband with the roses bouquet lego set for me, the look on girlfriends face was priceless
Simple, a prehistoric person mentality. They believe that an adult only exist to work and their way of fun is just talk or drink or party, only babies and children play toys. They also believe that no matter what, children are owned by their parents and their lives depends on how and what the parents decide...
I knew it was fake because OP carefully setup the "abusive father" at the beginning before paying it off at the (first) end… also the main character is way too passive… and "affair partner convincing the wife to hit the husband" is just dumb
I'm not too far into the world of legos but, i know that people like to save sealed boxes to sell for later and they can be very pricy. The most expensive set i bought was the animal crossing lego set that was around 70 dollars. Depending on the franchise and how sought after it is, that price will go up.
Story 1 happens saddly all too commonly with minor changes to detail. The most lucky details for op are that he lives in an at fault state, that he owns the house and everything and that his name is not on the birth certificate. My condolences to the good married men facing a similar event who don't even have 1 of those 3 streaks of luck.
As a toy collector I feel for the OP in the 2nd post. It becomes annoying when others don't respect your hobby like other hobbies just because they think its childish.
i've got some dolls i've kept since childhood and my mom just can't seem to understand why i won't give them to my nieces. just because its a toy doesn't mean its only value is in the hands of a child.
Wow that first story was a roller coaster ride!! I’m so glad for OP getting a clean break from that abusive cheater! I hope ex’s brother gets an awesome gift for telling OP what was really going on and giving him the paternity test results!
Lego sets are meditative and chill when they have fewer than 1000 pieces. We finished a Porsche last year. 2,704 pieces. Figuring out how to build a transmission with a jumbled drawing is… stressful. The Bugatti Chiron, with its 3,599 pieces, is still in the box. We’re puttering around with smaller kits until the memory fades a bit before opening it.
Story 2: It's OP's toy that they bought with their money. The parents and nephew have no right to steal OP's toys. I think the only reason why OP is making this post online is because the parents are trying to guilt them
So she was so supposedly terrified of him becoming her father that she became her father. And her psychotic mother. Apple doesn’t fall far and all that.
My egg donour gave all my original, sealed Star Wars items to her church to be auctioned off! I went ballistic. Fired charges against her, I had proof of my collection, and she had to fork over £25,000. That was in the mid 80’s! No clue if she’s alive or not but I’m glad I was able to purchase my original collection as it’s worth far more now! I bought two Millennium Falcon LEGO sets, put one together and put the other in my safe.
First story, I didn't think her cheating would save OP but here we are. Especially considering everyone but that one brother in his SBT-ex's family is incredibly nasty. Also, let's be honest. Chances were that if he did stick around, the AP would 100% turn around and cheat on OP's STB-ex.
1st story: if your wife treats you like that, and you think she wants to share genes with someone who lets himself be treated like a beach... think twice! lol🤣😂🤣
Story1 If this is the whole story, my heart goes out to op. That's messed up. *The description of the wife's father is exactly what she did to OP. **Holy Hell Missile dodged!!
Pregnancy/post-partum hormones are LITERALLY crazy. My last roommate in undergrad got pregnant in the late fall, so I had to endure most of the year with her pregnant. It was insane. A part of me still definitely loves her because of the many wonderful things she did for me. But I couldn’t STAND HER.
There are very few moments in my life that I remember every detail, the sights, the internal feelings, everything. One of those moments was the birth of my daughter. I felt so bad for OP.
The most expensive individual Lego set sold at auction to date is a 2007 gold brick, which sold for $14,450. Most of the "expensive" non special edition ones are around £700 ($900) and those are the sets with several thousand individual pieces.
Last story: OP isn't the one who set the Lego price. OP isn't asking for more than what a store charges for a thing. I don't see the value in a Taylor Swift ticket, but I don't therefore insist that the value of tickets is incorrect. Also, the price of everything in the world goes up except toys? Like... what was their logic? "The last time I paid for Lego, it only cost $70, therefore that is always the cost, regardless of size, rarity, time, etc." 🙄
Wow!!! That first story was a roller coaster! Honestly… F*** OP’s ex-wife and her family (with the exception of the brother that told him the truth). Glad OP made a solid break. That woman tried to use him and karma hit her like a train.
"Slowly changed into a negligent, abusive, unfaithful, and unsupportive jackass, ending with him disappearing when her mother was delivering." Gee, that sure does sound familiar.
First story - I'm only up to 1:47 and I can already say that OP is NTA. His wife is clearly abusive towards him and I don't blame him for wanting out. Now that I'm up to the part where OP wasn't even allowed anywhere near his newborn son in the hospital, I'm 100% on his side. Yeah, I'm 100% with OP.
I really need people to research post pardom depression.. I’m seeing some crazy things lately and now understand why women shouldn’t have children. Also we only know his side not her side Edit.. a cheater is a cheater
The crazy thing about people saying LEGOs are just for kids is that on the box the age range literally goes up to 99 years old! LEGOs are for everyone.
Story 2: As an AFOL myself and has a sizable collection of vintage Lego sets, that story made my blood boil! If I were OP, I’d not only file a police report, I’d take them to f-ing COURT! NTA-AF!
they paid OP back. never go nuclear on family in the beginning. always give them a chance to atone first. if they don't though, yeah go full ham, thats your shit, family should know better.
@@abiean222 I know. I just made the mistake of writing and posting that comment before listening to the while story. Maybe it was because how much it triggered me since many of the vintage Lego sets I own are from the late 1980's to early 2000's and are incredibly hard to come by sealed. Not that I own any mint condition sets to begin with. But I always have them displayed in a display cabinet away from sunlight. And that story made me feel grateful for having family who greatly respect my interest, and don't try to screw with my collection because "tHEy'rE jUSt tOyS, yOU'rE tOo oLD fOr ThAt sTuFf aNYwAy!". And that includes my nephews, age 10 and 7 as of writing this. They not only admire my collection, they have been told by not only myself, but also their dad(my older brother) and their grandparents(me and my brother's parents) they can look but don't touch any of their uncle's Legos. Which they never fuss about. So yeah, as an AFOL stories like those really bothers me!
Story 1: I’m thinking she hid that trait and pregnancy brought it out a lot more. Doing that is one thing….adding in abuse and not even informing OP about her labor and not even allowing OP in the hospital after the birth of (possibly not) his child? That’s the breaking point. So the wife doesn’t get to “come home” after all she put him through. Geez women (not all but those who act like this) don’t get to treat their spouse badly and not expect consequences…hormones or not Story 1 Update: ok…can’t fully hold the crazy the wife displayed against her because it was her mother who brewed the poison that basically led to all the crazy. Generational trauma and pregnancy are a seriously nasty combination. And the fact the mother basically kicked her own daughter and grandson out after “getting rightful revenge for the men who wronged me”. Therapy wasn’t enough for this woman…she needs a padded room. But, ya know, could be a lie too. Story 1 Update 2: COME ON!! I WAS WILLING TO GIVE HER THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT!!! Geez!! She spun a sob story for sympathy in hopes of “OP please take me back, I’m sorry, I just went a little crazy” but basically admitted to cheating. And now that she was abandoned by her lover and she got caught, she showed her true colors. Good luck to that baby because he’s going to be raised in the worst possibly environment. Story 2: This….this hurts me so much!! My late grandmother got my dad and uncles ORIGINAL Hess trucks! Like 1st generation ones and gifted one every year for Christmas. Now that she’s gone, my mom continues the tradition (with all the new Hess trucks, ambulances, etc.). To this day, each Hess truck is still mint in box. OP’s parents played themselves thinking “a silly toy” was so cheap and just something to give away.
Okay, the lesson I learned for story 1 is that just because an excuse story (the wife's) is impressively detailed/convoluted, it doesn't mean it's true. Narcissists will find a way.
I wonder if the reason the ex didn’t bring the baby to the park was because the baby looked nothing like Op cause if it was OP’s than why didn’t she at least have OP look at their baby while trying to clear the air? I’m just glad she is a cheating nobody who’ll regret her life from now on.

@@kconway2263Stealing is not a characteristic.
It’s something you do, regardless of one’s thought process throughout it.
It's interesting how the abusive wife basically turned into everything she hated about her own father. Also, I literally laughed out loud when the dad in story 2 tried to hand over $70. It's a _sealed collectible,_ dude!
"That's how much it cost the last time I bought one" And how many decades ago was that, old man? Y'know, inflation is a thing, y'know.
I do kinda respect the dad for buying a sealed replacement in the end, I feel like he knows he's in the wrong but is just too stubborn to admit it.
Story 1: The story the wife is spinning is just chef's kiss of all the clichés. I'm sitting playing the world's smallest violin as nothing justifies what she put op through.
Edit: ha called it!
I like the song the world's smallest violin too .
The wife cheated on OP, the AP is a POS, and when her behavior to OP lead to the divorce, she realized just how big of a grave she dug because AP disappeared
I seriously hope the kid finds good people, because I can't imagine the kid having a happy life in this situation
Gonna bet that the wife is going to hate the child because she’s going to view it as the reason her life was ruined
She made her bed, now she has to lie in it. When you nuke your own life, don’t be upset when you can’t pick up the pieces.
having a mother like that who keep lying, that kid going have a horrible lift and OP would gave that kid the world but having a shit parent like that will run it
The story if probably fake. She's a stay at home wife who doesn't work and cheated with her coworker...
OP deleted when called out allegedly
@@Kennisaurus "Doesn't work" and "existence of a coworker" does not compute.

Edit: I was too outraged to continue listening and to hear the update that they didn't know before I typed that comment.
Turns out, they did not. (Update 1)
Would they care 🤔
@@Diamondr11Blue they do now there is no actual grandchild. Had the kid been his. I’d imagine they would plead for reconciliation. Then when that doesn’t work ostracize OP and take in the stbxw and their grandchild. It’s wild the stories we’ve heard of what parents will do to their own children over “grand baby rabies”.
@@Diamondr11Bluethey should, since he's their son, after all.
I am VERY grateful that the baby isn’t OP’s. His STBX and in-laws are a massive train wreck.
@@glennrishton5679 I can't, doesn't matter what the price was, if it's not your don't touch it, it's a simple rule all adult's should understand.
@glennrishton5679 except that's not how life works. You don't get to decide "I'm gonna give you 25 bucks for something you were saving that's now worth 300"
If they were that hard pressed to get the kid a lego, go get a lego, don't steal one from someone and then refuse to reimburse what it costs.
@@PJ-yi8cn Read my second sentence,, the one that begins with, "Yes they were wrong...." My point in saying that me being older means I have no idea how much such a Lego set would cost so they may think however incorrectly that $70 would be perfectly adequate.
Parents steal OPs property.
OP wants reimbursement.
Parents: “Stop acting childish!”
God I hate people 🙄
💯 it doesn't matter if it's a Lego set, a jacket, or a car.
Smh. 😒😪
She sold her life for a thrust.
I remember that story, unfortunately!!
I heard this story on 2 different TH-cam channels. So heartbreaking.
The wife cheated on him? I dont remember that update
OPs Wife just had to complete the cycle of abuse to ensure her child had the same trash life she did. She did her best.
I hope the dude in story 1 has enough evidence to get sole custody, assuming it’s his.
Probably better to listen to the whole story before commenting! lol
@@billwithers4762 yeah I was going to comment about the story right when the update happened (when his ex wife told op that story) and afterwards, I was so speechless.
@@Simipourfangirl holy crap I just wow I’m speechless.
He can?
It's not his. She had an affair baby.
Story 2:They literally commited a crime,NTA

@@spiritwolf3103 not to mention a good insult
Now I'm wondering if those even exist. My guess is no.
Things I'm noticing as massive red flags in the first story:
Damn, that first story could fill a full season of a Telenovella.
Not enough love triangles between side characters, I'm afraid. The ex MIL also needs an eyepatch, and there needs to be an actual love interest for OP that isn't his evil ex.
Thank fuck the kid wasn’t his, that beast and her family would’ve made OP’s life hell. I can only hope she be a way better mother than she was a wife.
If she's willing to raise her hand to her own husband she'll do it to the kid. Feel so bad for the baby

Wasn't there a similar story where a man was an abused slave for his pregnant wife? His wife made 9 months of his life hell.
If the food was "slightly off", she throws it at him.
She calls him worthless when he is the one making money and doing the chores.
Basically belittled him and argued every day.
When she finally had the baby, she was "back to normal."
Then wanted another one.
Good times.
Well…. Theoretically it could be an ex-coworker, maybe. But yeah, I didn’t catch that.
FFS of course it's not real 🙄
I found the coworker thing funny. Didn't know that stay at homes had coworkers
I mean, most stories on Reddit are fake, just try to view it as entertainment and discussion about fictional characters, rather than an actual person suffering through unbelievable nonsense 😂
Could be a former co-worker, she probably left her job before getting pregnant
Story 1: what kind of tactic was OP’s ex trying to pull? Why did they concoct such an unnecessarily elaborate story??? How on earth do people like this exist?
It worked for a moment. OP even commented, that it was too elaborate and ridiculous to be made up
good morning guys. first of all story 1 might be fake according to the comments on the final update post because:
1.) it all happened too fast! in 3 days, the paternity test and everything? pfft...
2.) she's a stay at home mom, no? where did co-worker come from? or was it the neighbor? or was she screwing a vacuum?
3.) very karma farming tbh.
4.) they also deleted their acc after getting called out for it
anyways it was still a wild story lmaoo! story 2 made my blood boil tbh
Yeah, that checks out
story 1 is very likely fake, but story 2 is possible real. i know because my mom doesn't understand why i won't give my nieces my dolls i saved from childhood. parents not understanding that just because its a toy doesn't mean that its only for kids is infuriating.
@@abiean222 yep. Story 2 is most likely true (and it even happened to me once). It’s very annoying and I can relate to it.

OP just wanted confirmation that they did the right thing.
Story 2: OP’s parents are bad for giving something of son’s that he paid for with his own money. Seriously keep your hands off of other people’s crap. You do NOT own your child and you do NOT own their things
But the fact the dad gave $70 to OP, he knows it could cost $70… that is a LOT of money that you’d think they would think “this might not actually be a toy”
Lol. That's amazing.
Also, show me a kid that can afford Lego prices these days. These sets are getting hella expensive.
Simple, a prehistoric person mentality. They believe that an adult only exist to work and their way of fun is just talk or drink or party, only babies and children play toys. They also believe that no matter what, children are owned by their parents and their lives depends on how and what the parents decide...
The first story is fake, people pointed out she went from Stay at home Mom to suddenly having a coworker and the person deleted their account.
you the real VIP 🏆
I knew it was fake because OP carefully setup the "abusive father" at the beginning before paying it off at the (first) end… also the main character is way too passive… and "affair partner convincing the wife to hit the husband" is just dumb
I'm not too far into the world of legos but, i know that people like to save sealed boxes to sell for later and they can be very pricy. The most expensive set i bought was the animal crossing lego set that was around 70 dollars. Depending on the franchise and how sought after it is, that price will go up.
13:34 "as useful as a bag of used horse condoms" that's a new one
I knew it was gonna be the mother in law, it's so often the in-laws who get into their kids heads and make them crazy.
Funny thing is I put Legos together, while listening to your videos it’s very entertaining

Story 2: that ain't a toy, it's a collector's item, like most buildable models, even the dirt cheap $20 ones you can/could buy at toy stores
Story 2: It's OP's toy that they bought with their money. The parents and nephew have no right to steal OP's toys.
I think the only reason why OP is making this post online is because the parents are trying to guilt them
Helps to have a written record too
The ending of that first story is the equivalent of getting on a flight to another hemisphere the day your home is hit by a thermonuclear weapon

Story 1: she cheated. It’s not his son.
My egg donour gave all my original, sealed Star Wars items to her church to be auctioned off! I went ballistic.
Makes me wonder how bad of a job the wife would have done of the birth certificate forgery, lol.
So Op' Ex wife gambled on her AP, only for him to dissappear, Karma is a b*tch
The OP wasn’t expecting money. He was expecting for his stuff to remain his stuff
Prenups won't usually hold up in divorce, but the fact that OP is in an at-fault state will absolutely help him get a clean break.
What goes around comes around.

The most expensive individual Lego set sold at auction to date is a 2007 gold brick, which sold for $14,450. Most of the "expensive" non special edition ones are around £700 ($900) and those are the sets with several thousand individual pieces.
Last story:
OP isn't the one who set the Lego price.

Story 1 Update: ok…can’t fully hold the crazy the wife displayed against her because it was her mother who brewed the poison that basically led to all the crazy.
So, Dad should be glad it wasn't one of the $1K plus sets
Okay, the lesson I learned for story 1 is that just because an excuse story (the wife's) is impressively detailed/convoluted, it doesn't mean it's true. Narcissists will find a way.
I wonder if the reason the ex didn’t bring the baby to the park was because the baby looked nothing like Op cause if it was OP’s than why didn’t she at least have OP look at their baby while trying to clear the air?
I’m just glad she is a cheating nobody who’ll regret her life from now on.
Pregnancy was not what turned her into a psychotic liar. That is a story of a psychotic liar that got knocked up.
