- I show you my Go-Ped Sport that I bought at a garage sale for $5. Its not the best looking gas scooter, but it runs. I also show you the top speed of it with a GPS app on my phone. Thanks for watching!
The pull start is 8 dollars.... and a cold air intake is like 12 dollars..... and you need a new spark plug 3...... watching you top out at 13 mph priceless lmao
seriously. my stock xped (same motor but with a rocket key) was doing 20-21, that thing must be beat
$5 is a steal for this since it still works bro!
Unlike electric which only works a few years and has diminishing range throughout the lifespan.
For $5 no one can complain. I would recommend buying a pull starter so its easier to start and an air filter. But $5 is a good steal for a goped

Sounds like the engine is missing some of the firing strokes. Perhaps you could adjust the mixture control when warmed up and get some more power and speed out of it
New deck, very air filter, new piston , new bars, new fan cover and pull start, clean up all the carbon inside the motor, clean and tube the carb, and it’ll be good as new

Piston probably has major scoring from the sound and the piston rings are probably hella bad, she needs i total rebuild

Go ped has come a long way. When you get some time check out Derrick Short's racing videos. The latest GoPed 460 models sound so much refined now.
Man i pulled my uncles old one out of our barn and put a ghetto gas tank rig and put a new primer bulb on it started it up and it ran like a dream

I know it was only $5, but, the spindle needs to be tightened down on the tire, bet it can reach 19-20mph. All my stock ones have.

yea.. it might be due for a new top end and cylinder lol. my goped sport goes 20-25 lol. Same model and everything. (brother tracked my speed with a car)

I have a scooter that I got from the trash had a 33cc engine. I got it working and rode it around for awhile but I wanted more power so I took the engine off and know I'm putting an 80cc 2 stroke on it

i ended up getting a 49cc 2 stroke motor. Hopefully, fingers crossed, it will perform at at least 35mph.

you need to dial in that carburetor when you're hitting top speed it's not hitting the right RPMs adjust the carburetor 4 top performance

Those things are expensive. You lucked out. You know Go peds are meant to be push started usually... I don't know what you mean by bump started but you're supposed to push them. Anyway, I don't know much about engines but if my small engine did that, I'd probably disassemble the whole thing, clean out the gunk and try to replace any parts that cost a few dollars or look damaged. That should do it. Or you can take the easy route and bring it to a mechanic. Sometimes, with those small engines, it's some tiny little thing that you wouldn't even think is broken.

You shouldn't use starting fluid on a small engine like that or really any engine it will destroy it really quick.

Monte Samuels mine goes 31 somehow l... I have an old bigfoot and put a Chung yang 23cc on it this weekend and it is rated at 26mph. It's going 31 on straight pavement and 35 on a downgrade. I'm not complaining

Ryley Thompson get it off amazon there cheap I have a gas powered scooter and it goes up to 60 mph and it's stock no mods. It's not a go ped tho. My cousin bought It from Canadian tire and gave it to me because he doesn't use it anymore
