This car eat A LOT of engine oil, every time i had the oil pressure warning was in a tight bend when the oil level was probably moving outside off the measuring probe. Which was also a warning for me to adjust the level of engine oil cause it was too low.
@@hjty197 I suggest you change the filter and use correct grade oil (castrol edge 5w40). Also check if the pipe that feeds into air box isn’t blocked with oil should help a lot
@@knwgt5426 I have Golf 4 2001 1.4 benzin. I also see this warning. I checked oil level, it was fine. I checked oil pressure sensor, it was fine. I checked oil pan, it was dirty and we cleaned it. But still I see this warning. Next I will check oil pump maybe because of it. I hate this warning. It is not all the time appearing. When I drive the car with more than 3000rpm and I drive more than 30 minutes, mostly I see it. And repairmans could not find the solution.

@insideimagery133 It is fixed now (I hope). Since I had this problem for a long time, it is resulted to me with seized bearings :( My new mechanic changed the oil pump and changed the bearings because they were dead because of lack of oil pressure. After that I drove almost 1000 km and the stop warning appeared again. I went to the same mechanic and he said he needs to clean the oil channels. After he cleaned the channels it is fixed. It was 7 months ago.

@@knwgt5426 I use castrol 10w40. I have used 5w40 but after my oil change i switched to 10w40 and it eats way less oil.
