I've had this exact little device for years when they sold it as an Android TV box. It's kinda cool with the front display, but after the Linus video on these things almost all containing malware, I haven't touched it.
At a Basic level even Google and TH-cam is malware. Linus is a bit of a cun* Just saying. In the end they just want to sell you stuff and you want to have free or inexpensive stuff. In the end Don't let youtubers making you stop having fun
What is the name of the video? I am looking for it but all I find is one Linus video where they review 6 consoles of them and put the link where you can purchase them. But I do not think it is the video where it says about the malware since they are linking to where you can buy the devices.
Would of liked to have seen Sega CD on here., but the selection of emulators were pretty good. At regular price this thing costs 150 bucks, which is outrageous for what your getting. At 150 bucks, I'd expect it to at least upscale ps1 games. If you got kids, and you want to stick something in there room, I'd get it on sale (right now it's half off), other than that, you can buy an older pc for that price, that will be able to play these games, at a higher resolution.
You can buy a system with RK3588 and make it yourself. However we are waiting currently better drivers for the GPU that can be implemented in 3rd party OS's since Chinese companies currently aren't known for providing a good OS on their devices. There are rumors we will be getting them in 2024. Furthermore any device with RK3588 would be getting into the cheap PC segment not a lot of these Android boxes aren't costing as cheap as a 2nd hand PC.

I'm just someone with OPi 5 waiting and hoping for the best though people should realize that anything with RK3588 or its "s" variant won't be exactly cheap as of now. That includes that rumored handheld console. Give it 2 or 3 more years at most and it will be attack of the RK3588.
Bought this online i dont even know how to operate the digital box. How to choose the level of hardness. Thanks for the tutotial how to exit ingame the intructions given were horrible!
Console emulator is a way better launcher and fully customizable. PSP emulator is very limited. Console launcher gives you the look of a switch with way .lre customization

You should try with some CRT shaders on for checking the impact on performance.
In other words same old same old. I think these boxes have hit a plateau and won't advance any further. Good review and cool video Wicked!👉🙂👈

Mix it up with the games you play the same games with every new Chinese console you get.
The thing is that playing the same games makes it easier to compare performance.
