I have the standard monroe shocks for my 2004 CR-V, if im buying this should i buy this as a pair without distinction in part number? They're identical for both sides?
@@ROCK777Garage I’m guessing the Evap canister is that square honeycomb thing in the way on the drivers side? I shook that think and tried yanking it out at every angle, also jacking up the arm up and down. Gotta remove something. I just want to finish this so I can move it out and move in my bronco that just broke last night. Of course my 2 vehicles break down while I’m working on this stupid CRV, thanks for the help.
By Far, Thee best strut replacement video, EVER
Thank you for this very helpful video!
Did you Re-use the factory springs?
How does it perform compared to the OEM or KYB twin tube shock?
better handling like OE and above KYB
best music video ever

Different parts number check it out at Rockauto.com
Who is that awesome band singing???
The spacer/shim at the bottom looks like it’s upside down. Looks like the groove for the spring is at the bottom.
It would seem better to relieve the pressure off the strut when removing the bolt and stripping the threads when it came out?
Agree to prevent stripping the threads
Did u use spring compressor?

What magic did you do at 2:55? I can’t get that thing to get out.
Just be patient to shake it off. Try also extra jack and jack stand to the trail arms up and down. Also remove evap canister. Hope it helps you
