Yeah the tough thing with the clipping and presets with this amp is that it is sooo depended on the guitars we used and input gain used to create them. As well as pickup outputs. It’s because the amp is such an ultra high output high headroom clean fast amp it’s essentially like a power amp. So the more input you feed it instead of it just breaking up and creating harmonics on the input like most amps it overloads the output. But that is how we got the amp to be 1:1 with the real thing. In real life if you turn that master up on the amp say goodbye to your ears! Beautiful playing! Taylor - MixWave
thanks for the feedback Taylor and explanation, much appreciated 🙏 that does make sense given how much headroom the amp has, i'll still put forward the idea of being able to lock the input and output knobs, that would be amazing =) great sounding and feeling plugin in any case, kudos 🙌
Yh... I had some trouble initially balancing input gain and output with my audio interface😑. I was almost driven away from purchasing it because of that 🤔... it took a while but I eventually got the hang of it and ended up buying the plugin.. I have a few plugins and it is by far my favourite one for clean/edge of breakup tones 🥰.. I just wish it had clearer instructions on how to set up/balance input gain/output (because I am not, and most people aren´t sound engineers 😜) ...
I own the MixWave Milkman Creamer collection. It's the closest I've come to Fender-like cleans in a plugin. It kicked my Neural Cory Wong to the curb. Definitely going to get the trial version of this. I used to own a Two Rock Studio Pro 35. Stunning amp - but to get it into the sweet-spot, it was punishingly loud. It'd be nice to have Two Rock tone in a plugin.
@@DrProgNerd ah nice, i know what you mean, my hiwatt custom 100 was a similar story, punishingly loud but so rewarding, I've never owned a two-rock but this plugin certainly delivers, i think you'll really enjoy it, the 14 day trial is great to be able to fully test it out
Great sounds, great playing 👍
thanks 🙏
That was some really tasty strat playing! Kudos 🙌 great sounding plugin too
thanks 🙏 i really don't play that guitar enough, was great to bring it out for these sorts of amp tones, maybe one day i'll get to try a real two-rock
Thanks for excellent review.
thanks 🙏 glad it was useful
Thank you for the informative review!
