    I like it when it's quick and brief. unlike many videos that stretch ~2 minute of info over 10-15 minutes. Question though. Don't you think cpu cooler that has a fan directly on it would work more efficient than tubular heat radiators kind... cuz heat has to be radiated through tiny pipes rather than immediately been spread and vented out easily... My pc keeps crashing, and I think it's because of the tiny pipes not transferring heat anylonger and computer gives me CPU Fan error on boot. Although I disabled cpu fan monitoring in bios & thorough dust maintenance. It's time to change cpu fan kit but I have the concern that tubular heat radiators may look fancy but not as efficient as old school kinds that are very advanced nowadays and great for overclocking too... Thanx.

    All you need to know is that before you apply new thermal paste, properly clean the old one with a cloth. Apply a small pea sized drop of thermal paste in the middle of the processor, and carefully place the heatsink on top. Fit it and make sure it doesn't move.

    • @TheRpmxxx

      i dont know if its all the cpu coolers but some of them come with thermal paste already in the cooler surface

    • @Zeemis

      From all the videos I've recently watched, none of these guys are installing thermal paste and I'm just like, "what the fuck, does no one apply thermal paste anymore?!?!"
      I reality although, a lot of new CPU's, which I was looking up, come with thermal paste applied to the cooler.

    • @Zanithos
      @Zanithos 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's absolute overkill lmao, but I wouldn't use any other paste than Kryonaut regardless of CPU. It'll definitely help keep temps low.
      That same paste applied incorrectly (it was an accident I swear lol) to a Ryzen 2700x, in conjunction with a coolermaster masterliquid ml240, keeps the chip under 50° at full load.
      Once I repaste in a few days I'm hoping to get less than 30° at idle and 50°-60° while gaming for extended periods of time.
