EVERYONE was Catching! Cape Cod Canal NONSTOP Action

- The Cape Cod Canal is a world famous Striped Bass fishery that essentially exploits the long, curved, shape of the State of Massachusetts. Rather than go all the way around the edge of MA, fish would much rather cut through the canal and save themselves thousands of miles in their migration up north every year. As a result this gives fishermen the opportunity to catch ENORMOUS fish from land. In this video I give a quick breakdown of a very lively morning I had in which the fishing was nonstop. I fished from sunrise to late morning with my friends Bob and Albert, and we ended up getting pushed out due to heavy foot traffic later on in the video...enjoy!

Great video, I don't mind that it's less edited! Your voiceover is great.
I always like when you describe why you're fishing a certain way, like how you explained that stripers like to eat very close to bottom.
Thanks for the awesome content!
Went to the Canal for the first time two weeks ago. Learned the fishing etiquette from TH-cam and watching other anglers. Not too hard to see how other fisherman are fishing and doing the same
So did you catch any fish or ? 😂
@@phqro6724 fished from 4am to like 8pm. Both days and nothing lol
Could you send me the address, I want to go fishing there. Thank you.
Been fishing the canal for years!! Great time!
Please do more longer unedited videos like this! Also, going forward can you please link all of your fishing gear/tackle in the description (rod, reel, leader, braid, terminal tackle, lure, etc)?
Love the vids, keep up the excellent content
Berkley Powerbait Saltwater jerk Chad ………mullet color. Absolute slayer, no one really uses it but for some reason it catches every species when I’m saltwater fishing. Stripers LOVE EM.
This is the first time I have watched one of your longer videos I’m glad I found this.
Hell of a good first catch for Bob! Mine was just a tiny Weeping Blowfish which was just around 1-3 inches long!
I just got into fishing and I can say I'm getting addicted. Please make a video for best spots to fish in new England with pond/lake names! Much appreciated
Great vid man! That’s how the canal goes. There’s plenty of fish for everyone! If everyone casts in order then it can make for some incredible fishing.
sick videos as always bud!
Love the cape cod vids keep up the good work
Love these videos, keep making ‘em 🫡
Hey there,… I’m an old school Striper fisherman on the west coast since 1969…
There’s this spot called Sutro Rock at the west end of San Francisco… perhaps you’ve heard tell of this place….there would be 20 guys elbow to elbow casting 3 and 4 oz. Bucktails 75 to 100 yards out … never seen a fight there.. everyone knew how to make it work… there was always a good current just like your Canal and we used it to our advantage… crossovers were rare if you can believe that … many good days fishing that rock ….many limits of big fat cows… back then,.. the limit was 3 per day…
You can tell who was old school and who was a FNG (fucking new guy) … lol… all the veterans whipped conventional heavers and the newcomers were all spin fisherman and watched scratching their heads of our near 200 yard cast… I’m ‘63 now and still heaving a 12’ St. Croix … today… back then it was the yellow Lamiglas and they were fiberglass custom rods … then transitioned to Graphite, Boron and now Carbon and Graphene… you know,.. the real expensive shit… lol 🤣
OK, enough of my babble…
Tight lines to all… 👍😎🤙
First it’s a good day when he uploads
He obviously doesn't care about your comments
Not even a like😂
@@staytight6340we don't need your opinion
My favorite TH-camr
AMAZING video also the rippling of the water is pretty
YOU HAVE THE BEST VIDS
Had the exact opppdoriye for me! No one was caching! 😅
Love the full length videos there always great 👍 😁 🙌
I went to cape cod about a month ago around this time and when i went to nauset, there was a massive school of striper about 100-200 feet off the shore, there was a line of like 20 fishermen casting. Every time they would get hit seconds after their jig hit the water and pull in a 30 inch striper, one of the most crazy things I’ve ever seen
great video, I was so excited to hear that one of my favorite youtubers live close to me. I don't know why I think that is so cool, but it would be so cool to run into him when I was fishing..
Albert is clutch as hell lolol nice going man!
Woow nice strike uncle👍👍😁
yay i love tackle to the people! 😊
Can’t wait to watch it
YEAH BOB!!
Great fishermen, creative content creator= great video
Yooo! I am going to cape cod next week might check this area out.
Glad you have been having luck. My buddy and I went fishing this morning from 2:30 to 9 and we didn't see any action. Might try again soon. Tight lines
Good fishing spot you’re at, I usually fish near the factory that’s to your left but maybe I’ll try the mouth sometime
Make more of these cape cod canal vids pls.😊
good video 👍 keep doing these canal videos
If you want a good time come to Chicago for the salmon, trout, and steelhead runs. Mainly early fall through mid spring. I would recommend a small bucktail jig with a bobber for steelhead, and kastmasters, cleos, and even some flies for the kings and cohos. For trout, it’s a little like Massachusetts. You can use worms, minnows, small spinners, and soft plastic jigs. Just a suggestion for any of your fall trips.
Any chance of a video breaking down the gear you use for stripers casting from the canal? I’m looking for a new rod to fish with mackerel.
I ❤ these videos and the creator
i love the videos!
What is that rod?
Solid vid
Is that jetty at buzzards bay end ? Thanks . Great video
Go to the railroad bridge, There,Have been stripers nonstop yesterday I caught a 40 inch. On July 10

Gotta get the TukTek out there!

I'm gonna employ your techniques here at my local "cape cod canal" the California aqueduct. Current is running strong here as well and depths of 20 to 35 ft deep.
Could you do some fresh water bass fishing would love watch also love your content ❤
Love the content! I wanna learn how to catch striper so bad even if its a small one
I know eels do good
@@Theoshobbies-lf7wc yea but i live in florida😂🫡
Niceeeee
We know you have more to upload Mr. Tackle
How many oz is your hogy pro tail ? I’ve never caught a striper and I’m from the Marblehead area. I’ve been using top water bait like the yo zuri long cast minnows but those float and I can’t seem to ever see fishes up top. I’m planning on going down to the cap cod canal and hoping to catch at least 1 striper.
Hey man, I was thinking about going to the mid Hudson River and fishing for striper, do you think they would still be biting there around this time of year??
Maybe some schoolie sized ones but you would prolly have to go to the dam
would you recommend baitcasters or spinning rods?
I think you should definitely take any striper lure like a sand eel or a big buck tail jig and go bass fishing to see if you can catch a giant bass
Up here in Minnesota big swimbaits like that are great for muskie
MORE KAYAK VIDEOS BRO... I JUST PURCHASED MY FIRST TUCKTEC IN BABY BLUE... START PUMPING THEM OUT SON... IM OUT HERE... SHOUTOUT TO BRIDGEPORT,CONNECTICUT... WE WATCHING!!!! 💪💪
What pound braid do u use?
What's your rod and reel combo sizes. Looks like a St. Croix Legend Tournament
What size reel are you using T2TP
yo i’m not sure what part of mass your from but if your close to Middletown but i heard the bite is good there for bass
What combo do you have
What rod and reel setup are you using??
What rod/reel do you like to use at the canal??
I'm so jealous I'm not there right now!
They say large mount bass are plentiful and above average size. The also have carp which was the equivalent of catching a shark when I was a kid. Kind of want to avoid them now and try to focus on the bass.
And sure enough
What rod you using this time?.Triumph?Rating?
Can you fish with bait there?
what rod are you using?
I’m going to be in Burlington for a week in a few days. Iv never fished out there. Any tips on a spot I can go to around there?
Yeah if you can get out on the lake on a kayak or if you have a boat even better big small mouth bass in lake Champlain if your willing to drive a little go to crown point under the massive bridge hope this helps
Can you tell us your rod reel and line combo please
Did you find it
Me watching this video thinking how he just got more stripers in one morning then I ever will in my life
What’s your setup?
Can you try to fish for tuna or barracuda?
what rod is that?
looks like a tsunami idk
What’s the rod
Go for very big bass next vid pls
Where is this spot ?
is this the buzzards bay end
Please where do you get your orange scissors! It's an Asian staple, but I lost mine and could never find more. Thanks!
Voiceover gang
They will never learn if no one snaps on them ever. Teach them to use a heavier jig so it doesn’t drift all the way down or he’ll just yell at them once😆 I don’t like confrontation either but at some point I’ve been pushed to far lol
I caught 4 fish in about 3 mins
(secret is chumming the water with a slice of bread and using half a pink plastic worm) (may not work for some)
I am a 12 year but I would love to start a fishing channel…do you have any advice or tips?It would be much appreciated.
and sure enough (:
I am cat fishing while watching this and there are some bites
What day was this?
12:10 :(
I just learned something about canal fishing and not being a Giant A Hole.

Yo can we go fishing together
I haven't fished the Canal in years... Far too many idiots down there nowadays... No regard for personal space... Those without a strong grasp of the English language are by far worst offenders...
