It’s actually is a really good device. And after a few other people comments. I’m not using it to it full potential. So definitely goin to up my gizmo game. Lol
Thank you. I really need to try using the camera to it’s full potential. I really haven’t. Studied enough and need to dig in further. But we appreciate you guys. So much.
I think with any kind of camera or set up there’s always pros and cons. I love the size and ease of portability of the DJI pocket. Yet, some of the limitation with reference to whether or additional accessories to do what you want to do is a little discouraging. Thanks for the honest review.
You are most welcome. You know us. We don’t sugar coat anything. Lol. Sometimes too honest. But I’ve been told it has so many more options. That I haven’t looked into. But like I said it all really depends on what you would use it for. So. There are so many different routes these days. Thank you so much for stopping by. Love you guys
We got the Pocket 2 with the Creator Combo about a year ago, and we absolutely LOVE IT!! we never use it with the cell phone attached. The only downfall is the built in battery life, BUT, I just got a couple external power bank that attaches right to the camera and extends the handle. They are AWESOME! But, keep your GOPRO for where you want to record and have to put it in harms way or for straight down shots when cooking. You'll love the new DJI
Well. Once again you guys have opened our eyes. And I guess I need to really get into the full potential. I’m probably not even touched to surface of its ability. And what I’m hearing is that it’s more awesome than I’m giving it credit. So I’ll read up some more. See what it can do. And hope it blows me away like it’s done for you guys. Thank you so much. Always love hearing from you guys. Blessings
The footage looks awesome, very stable and clear. Looks like a bit of a learning curve though and easy to lose the accessories. I do like that GoPro is waterproof though. But I like how small the DJI is and the video quality. Nice thorough review. Hope life is treating you both well! Take care, Debbie - BluWave Odyssey
HEY HEY LADY....so good to see you. and yes. they were so many pros and cons to each. but conceding I love the under water action. thats the hugest thing love about the GoPro. but we try to be honest at least for our usage. love you guys
We bought the Osmo Pocket, like you to replace our older GoPro, in our case a Hero 3+. It certainly has some great features like the following option and the moving gimble for time lapse but because most of our shots are outside and the small screen was a pain and I felt it was a bit fragile, so I always kept taking it in and out of the case. Because of this I ended up buying a Omso Action and find myself using it most of the time now. But I do still like it for some things.
That’s awesome. Thank you so much. I was curious about the action camera. I keep eye balling it. But was torn between it and a new GoPro. So the jury is still out on it. Lol. Blessings guys. Thank you so much for stopping be we appreciate it so much.
Oh really. For what. That’s got my curiosity peaked. But in the big truth and honesty if you have no interest in like water type of filming this is almost a perfect gadget for a lot of the things that I’ve seen you guys do in your videos
@@KRDestinations we bought a new one with a “no questions asked” policy that said you can return an old one. After many emails, phones calls, and questions, they said they wouldn’t honor an exchange because we don’t have a receipt. After Scott told them we would be sure to do a video on this and not buy any more products, they changed their mind.
I'm not sure Go-Pros can really pull a lead against the DJI Pocket. In order to use in wet locations you have to disconnect the external mic and put the cover back on. Plus, my Go-Pro just sits there, no matter what I say to it it won't follow me around a room. Thus, I walk right off camera. I know others that have the DJI Pocket and they love them. To each their own I guess. Thanks for sharing! Steve
You have valid points for sure. There are so many more options with the pocket. And you guys are actually being a lot of them to light. That I kinda brushed off. So thank you for everything.
I use that mimo app with my osmo 3. It's an ok app. I have android. Many say it caters to apple. It looks like a neat little gadget. What??? You saw it and got excited?? No freakin' way!!! The battery life isn't bad. Pretty quick recharge. Uh oh. A regretful purchase. That's never good! Gotta control that compulsive buying. Giving in, many times, will lead to buyers regret.
Yea I agree the app is meh. But you are so right. Dang impulse buy. Lol. Got to get better with that. But I had high hopes for real. Lol. And now I’m sitting on my GoPros and the gizmo. Ryan is so mad at me. Lol
Sounds like IF you are a big-timer and have an Extra $500 then sure, but for the nebies, maybe do more homework. Sounds like you need BOTH a new Action cam/ GoPro...???? You'll use it, just not 100% of the time.
Yea. I’m probably goin to go back to my GoPro. I like it for most of our vlogging. I want to versatile ability of the GoPro. And we are not no big time. Lol. Small fish in a big pond with you bro. Lol
Thanks for the review. I have been mulling over a few different type cameras for our channel.
Looks a nice bit of kit. Think I'm putting one on my Christmas list👍
It’s actually is a really good device. And after a few other people comments. I’m not using it to it full potential. So definitely goin to up my gizmo game. Lol
I do almost all of my videoing with the earlier version of this camera. I love it, I do wish it had a longer battery life. But it gets the job done
Thank you. I really need to try using the camera to it’s full potential. I really haven’t. Studied enough and need to dig in further. But we appreciate you guys. So much.

Thanks for your review buddy. I will probably be looking at purchasing some kind of newer action cam in the next 6 months. 👍🍻 Sean
Well do your research for sure. DJI has one that competes with go pro pretty good for sure. I’m probably goin to look into it.

you can also plug in a standard lav mic into the remote mic.
I also have two gopro 8's, and the stabilization is still better on the Pocket.

Oh hey I got one of those first addition .
It really is a cool gizmo. I just wish there was a waterproof one. For some action shots in the lakes and different places like that.
I could see that as being helpful@@KRDestinations , mine is still in the package .

Hey hey. Thank you so much. For stopping by. It means the world to us. Blessings
Nice camera but for me kayaking and fishing I may need to go with the GoPro. Great review !
Yea. That is what I’m struggling with. Cause I want versatility of not worrying about water damage. So. Might be trading it off.

@@KRDestinations for the record I got the original style Osmo Action, not the cubbed version.
Nice review. Jarhead got into an argument with GoPro customer service today. It was horrible. Maybe we will have to get one of those.

Why this review was done without tiny hands 🙌🏼 on your fingers .is.beyond.me 🤪🤔🧐
Bbbbrrrrroooooo. That is genius. I should have for real. Would have been epic. Lol
