Have the same griddle and was wondering what that metal strip was you took off while cleaning. Wanting to get some attachments for mine.

Heat rises. It doesnt matter where your furnace is, or how warm you keep your cabin. The heat will not transfer down into the tanks. The opposite happens. The tanks will transfer the cold up into the cabin. Install heat pads to the tanks, and wrap the pipes in heat wire, as well as insulation. The last thing you ever want, is for those pipes, or the tank, to freeze up completely. They WILL burst, and you will have a nasty mess to clean up. People need to be proactive, if they are going to be living in their rigs over the winter. Do all of this in the fall, long before it gets cold, and you will save yourself an enormous headache. Doing all this work, when its below freezing, not only isnt fun, but it you bump the pipes too hard when they are frozen, they will break. When sizing the heat wire for the pipes, you have to make sure you have 1 wrap every 3 inches. No less. If you have any more space in between your wraps, it will not be able to fight the cold, and they will still freeze. Make a heat gun one of your necessary carry tools. The valves will freeze, and trying to get them open without a heat gun is dangerous. Prying them open when they are frozen, can crack the pipes. Skirting is a good investment. foam board is a cheap alternative thats great if you arent moving around.

I just don’t get why

The key is to not go so slow that need your feet to balance, just “ride” up and in. Little more speed makes it so much easier. Nice video 👍

So I too have a 36 gallon, my black water is 30 gallon and my grey is 40. My Nephew had a great question his black water is a 40 gallon what on the Rhino tells you the full point so your not stuck with Pooh water in your hose?
