We hit the road early in the morning for the most beautiful Cappadocia Balloon tour. From start to finish, we had the pleasure of making an aerial tour of Göreme Ürgüp with a balloon. It is known that the most romantic thing in Cappadocia trips, which has a fairy-tale geography, is a balloon tour. Moreover, we can say that it is quite enjoyable to watch the sunrise on the balloon.
The most important feature of balloon tours is that you get up at four in the morning. Generally, around 4.30, shuttle vehicles come and pick you up from your hotel. You do not need to be in Göreme (Ürgüp, Avanos etc.). Of course, the service hours will change accordingly. Since we were staying in Göreme, the shuttle picked us up at 4.30 am and took us to the Balloon Area. Therefore, do not forget that you need to book the balloon tour a few days in advance.
You gather at the point where the balloons fly at around five in the morning. While the balloons are being prepared, you are having a light breakfast (cold sandwich, bagel, etc. fruit juice) in the open air. When the balloons are ready, it's time to get on the balloons. The maximum capacity of the balloons is 28 people. 4 people in each compartment, 3 people in the corners. Since the balloon tour is in the morning, you should wear a cardigan, etc., in order not to get cold even in summer. We recommend that you buy something. One of our suggestions for women would be to wear things like trousers and shorts, because getting on and off the basket is a little troublesome, even if it's a flight of stairs.
Of course, when you take off with a balloon at that time of the morning, you have the opportunity to watch the sunrise in the air. It's not always a joy to experience. An indescribable feeling. Since the balloons move according to the air flow, they can go in a different direction every day. When we boarded, the wind force blew us first towards the Çavuşin area. After wandering around the Rose Valley and Kızıl Valley, we normally should have gone back to Göreme, but we went towards Ürgüp. We landed in Ürgüp. Then we were brought to Göreme from Ürgüp by car.
Balloon rides are known to be fairly priced. That's right, you can bargain for balloon tours, which normally cost around 150-200 Euros.

Hotellerden yolcuları toplama ve balonların hazırlanması zaman almaktadır. Uçuş genelde sabah saat 06.00 ile 07.00 arası olmaktadır. Hava durumuna göre uçuş saati ve süresi değişebilmektedir.

Balon uçusu ortalama 1 saat (rüzgara göre az veya fazla olabiliyor) sürüyor. Bizim uçtuğumuzda rüzgar sebebiyle istenilen şekilde iniş yapamadık ve uçuş yaklaşık yarım saat daha fazla sürmüştü. Her şey rüzgar gücüne bağlı gelişiyor.
