Great video, thank you very much, i have a question when do you think we should overlap elements and when we shouldn't?
It’s hard to give a definitive rule on this, but I always say that we need a reason for every design decision. In the case of overlap, it would make sense to use it if elements relate to each other (Gestalt principle of proximity), to help save on space (this effectively creates white space), or to create dimension which makes your layouts more dynamic.
