They are a lot less woke than basically every other AAA game corpo. And finally, while the typical Nintendo art style might get made fun of by soyny fanboys, it does mean their games are made with a significantly lower budget. Selling MK8 almost 65 million times already sounds like a lot, but now consider that they didn't spend 400 million bucks making it. The game would probably have been wildly successful with 1/10 its sales.
These kinds of situations are why I haven't purchased a Nintendo product in over a decade. As soon as they started squashing community/fan projects I lost all respect for them.

From what i heard a main genki employee said they had a black market switch 2 that turns on and thats what the lawyers are going after not the accessories or the 3D printed prototype.
What company would invest in making a 3D print, let alone accessories, from leaks if they don't know the full specs of the end product? Feels like a very risky move to show something you know it could be entirely different.
The only reason I can think of as to why Nintendo hasn't released any info after the leaks, and the quality of them, is down to a possible severe flaw in the prototypes they are working through to fix. It also makes them look even more anti-consumer than before, and they have a long history of that.
The only time lawyers get sent out is if the stocks are being negatively effected. After these "Leaks" their stocks dropped significantly, so the Ninjas were sent out. Doesn't mean the leaks were legit, but shareholders thought they were and it hit Nintendo badly.
You also want to know what is unofficial? Somebody buys a Metallica DVD. They go and get it signed. That signed DVD is unofficial merchandise because companies don't sell it. Pretty funny that they designed it based on a leak of what the Switch 2 looks like... and if it wasn't, Nintendo wouldn't have made a scene about it the first time, but they did, then decided to make a 2nd scene by making that statement about it being unofficial. The Nintendo Switch 2 will probably have an Nvidia Tegra or Snap dragon processor inside and will probably be good enough to run AAA games but will be under powered compared to the other options on the market unless they decide to make it thicker with better cooling. We will see

I am curious. Because Nintendo Console always had some sort of "gimmick" or a unique mechanic. Whats the innovation for the Switch 2?
It's based on other consoles unlike most Nintendo consoles lately, so I don't think there'll be much addition aside from size change and slide thingie.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will probably have an Nvidia Tegra or Snap dragon processor inside and will probably be good enough to run AAA games but will be under powered compared to the other options on the market unless they decide to make it thicker with better cooling. We will see
