This one ripped my heart out, seeing the extreme sadness because her babies had been taken from her while she was nursing them. I shudder to think of their fate. God bless the folks who rescued her & I hope with time she will be happy again.

A friend of mine has a black lab that was rescued from a puppy farm, named Lucy. She has severe problems with her hips from being forced to breed, but she's the best dog I've ever met. She's like an endless fountain of love; she'll approach everyone with a big smile and a wagging tail. I think she's afraid of her owner leaving or abusing her but he showers her with affection and they are inseparable. Dogs don't hold grudges, they just love no matter what, which is amazing. Love seeing this beautiful girl make friends that will protect her 💞

It always breaks my heart to see a broken dog, all animals should be loved and Lucy was not. But any dog that goes to the Asher home is absolutely loved and spoiled. He is able to connect, love and heal these traumatized dogs. He seems to speak dog and despite having so many animals (dogs, cats, farm animals, etc) at his sanctuary each one of them is cared for, exercised properly, and absolutely loved and given a safe place to heal. She couldn't have went to a better home.
Lee Asher’s love for dogs makes me have tears in my eyes. Even his animal family reflects who he is! God bless him and his calling in life. He inspires the world!
This is what I love about Lee he can take a dog with such sadness in its eyes and change that dog to have such excitement, hope & love in its eyes overnight. ❤❤❤❤❤
My Chihuahua girl was from a puppy mill. She was a puppy when I got her in ‘02. She was my baby girl. She was an amazing dog. She passed in 2018 at 16 and a half years old. She’s buried in the back beside her cat brother who helped me raise her. That’s why I can’t leave my place. I can’t leave them. I have two framed pictures of my girl and I carry her picture in my wallet.
I'm so very sorry for your loss and can understand why you don't move out. This is the reason I have my fur babies cremated once they pass, so I can take their ashes with me when I move. Cherish the beautiful memories of your beloved pets. They'll help you heal. Take care. 🫂
@@piarademacher4024 I do have the ashes of one cat when I lived in an apartment. Taco’s urn is on my bedroom dresser. I think of my girl and my past cats all the time. I will, thanks.

Lucy cannot be in a better place. Lee loves his dogs and would do anything for them. They all seem to know that they’re supposed to do what he says. He’s so gentle with them..❤️❤️❤️

Lee recieves allot of money he rescues a limited number of dogs. Most he can. Money needs to go into prevention. He has 200 new acres. Should be used to educate people on the horrors of a dogs life in the wrong hands.

I was blessed to adopt a Beagle X who had spent her first three years breeding on an illegal puppy farm in Ireland, she was rescued to England last July to a local rescue kennels and i was able to adopt her on November 23rd, she is now in week 11 living in the Somerset countryside with my rescue Staffie X, each and every day is a new adventure for us both and she is teaching me so much, dogs capacity to forgive humans is unsurpassed, i am so lucky,
