Black is 1:5.5, and yellow is 16.5 elongation.. Quite a difference in practice. Bands need to be cut differently to have a more accurate result.

That should say the draw weight goes up for the sniper sling.5 black
    😮

    Thanks buddy for this comparison.
I've got both .5 yellow and black.
But for me just for target shooting I personally prefer yellow.5
I like smooth and light draw.

    Thanks for sharring
Those two latex have very different elongation. The yellow seems to should be alot shorter. That will increase speed.
    Elongation:
    Snipersling black 1:6.0
    Snipersling yellow 1:6.5-7.0

Thanks for this comparison. I was debating which to get. I saw many videos raving about snipersling black. But I will order the yellow because the draw weight is much less.

I buy the Snipersling premade. The yellow was sent to me by mistake and I prefer it over the black.
    Thank you bub!

Thanks for this vid. I'm in Indiana as well and shoot snipersling .5 but with the weather turning around here I was curious about the differences. Subscribed.

You're welcome. I love both the yellow and black but the black is pretty awesome stuff. Thanks for subscribing too.

Hi there. A couple of years ago started finding interest in slingshots. I had to put it down due to a hand injury. I ended up getting intoR/C trail trucks. Now that my hand healed I started taking my slingshot out on my hikes. I’ve gone as far as setting up target along the trail.
Things have changed. I noticed that Snipersling has a green band now. Have you had an opportunity to use it. If so, what is your opinion on it?
    Sorry for the long preamble.

Sorry I just saw this. Glad you are slinging again. I have not tried the green snipersling yet. I'm gonna. Thanks for watching.

I watched several videos from you, and since I'm a beginner I would like to get the most information possible, your videos are so precisely and informative that I have to subscribe, I expect my first slingshot from Wasp this week...as you say it takes a while from UK to my location (Canada) 😀I hope I can ask you some questions in the future?

I've got both but the black doesn't last long it's a rapid but snaps at pouch end after 50 shots good by the way

The black is fun if you're trying to bust up cans, but for general target shooting, it's not my go-to.

Thank you for your comparing the black and the yellow 🟡
    I've always wondered about.
So the black is a little faster but then the draw goes up..

Yep, that's pretty much it. I do prefer the yellow.

Yes sir I have switched to sniper sling 0.6 yellow.
I watch your video on the sharks Gill pouch and I bought those in yellow.
I like a little thicker because I can feel my 3/8 clay ammo better
I love your slingshot videos keep up the good work.
