You're a life saver, I'm certainly gonna try this, you don't know how long I've been trying to edit my vocals but didn't even have a clue on what I was doing, I noticed in one of my favourite TH-camrs, Emma Heesters, she's a great singer, and she always had edited vocals on almost all her covers, so I sort of assumed (this is actually hilarious and embarrassing) she went to the studio for this, or probably had a family member or friend that had a studio and I always stressed on it and looked for ways to edit vocals my own way, thank you so much, this video really helped, I'm certainly gonna try this, you're amazane 💜! The DAW I use is n-track studio 9. In my personal opinion it’s more advanced, has all the features this does and a little more. Btw Great tutorial! I can use it in my daw as well
so what I took from this was a lot of good things, but I would also utilise the 'phone microphone enhancer' as it perfects the voice through the phone even better x

@@domilyrics2218 I'm a girl and I'm going through puberty, and my voice is going nuts, my falsetto has become so weak and bad, even my normal speaking voice breaks so much with weird falsetto flips and my mom often teases me and says stop singing but I sound decent🤦♀️

That happens to me too when I use stereo headphones to record. But when I use my microphone, it does not delay. It might be the type of mic you are using to record which can pick up vocals later than you are actually singing them
You can use GarageBand too, only for iOS though. It’s got a lot of awesome features and it’s free! But I haven’t tried to record my vocals on it yet so not sure about that part of it. I get so nervous to record my singing 😣

I have a question. Usually my first takes ever are most natural sounding but not the best. What happens when you wanna be authentic and not pitch shift/tune the vocal. Do you delete that take and do new ones or do you layer vocals. Which is better do you think?
I am currently using SoundTrap for a studio mixing and vocal class. But I cant seem to find a good video for using those pre-made loops, and being able to adjust vocals to those loops to where it blends together smoothly.
