      Nah, surely the main reason is potentially making the cow more lame than b4 it entered the crush, no? Or not spotting a fairly obvious problem. I'd be more apprehensive about that tbh, all the cowshit flying around wouldn't be a problem - you could even take a bucket home for bedroom rollplay, haha :0)

Also shows that farmers DO care about the health and welfare of their land and stock. Bouquets to the dairyman and the trimmers for exemplary service to their four hoofed family. ❤

      Yes, indeed. Wonderful, caring, very, very knowledgeable men. I particularly love the fact that not one of them scold any cow. When the cow signals the discomfort Graeme discovers, There is no roughness about these guys at all. Graeme stops immediately and then uses his usual, reassuring tone with his soothing voice, “you’re okay, you’re okay.” He begins his work again, sprays his iodine and/or a block - whatever else is needed to make that cow comfortable. I like the fact there is before footage of how the cow is walking before Graeme does his work and the after walk when his work is done. There are remarkable differences!! I just love these fine men and what work they do!! So impressive!!! I love, love it all!!! ❤️💎😊

    I’m waiting on my Hoof GP travel mug!!
    Nice trim Graeme. I find myself critiquing other trims and say to myself that’s not the way the HOOF GP does it! ❤❤

    Allan is a good keeper of the animal to notice that bit of problem. Nice work!

    Great job Allen spotting the problem. That's how you know that they know each cow and their little idiosyncrasies.

    I actually love hearing the dairy farm noises. My uncle had a dairy farm. I loved going there. Even got chased by a cow once. Great job with the cow Graham 👏🏻🥰‼️

    Hats off to you Graeme. You make a job that for the most part isnt that interesting so interesting and I am here for it! I’m not sure if it’s the love you have for the job and the animals or if it’s just your charisma. Either way you are a great teacher and I honestly feel like I know more about cows hooves than I ever thought I would.

    4:17 I was joking with my husband the other day that those "raw milk" crazies should be made to watch these hoof GP videos! Just for scenes like this!
    Then see if they'll drink their raw, unfiltered poop milk!
    This is the reason why pasteurization was invented folks! 🤣

    • @feuerling
      @feuerling 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      The teats are cleaned and disinfected when milking to minimize contamination, so it's not poop milk, but it's impossible to get rid of all bacteria on an animal's skin, so the moment it comes out the teat it's no longer clean and has to be chilled immediately.

      @feuerling Just don't tell them that! 🤫 That would ruin the surprise! 🤣
      Besides, at least in the US, a lot of the raw milkers (that I know of) get their milk from less reputable farms that are less likely to use sterilized equipment, such as Amish farms. 🤦
      I highly doubt that you can trust a farm that sells raw milk to make sure there's no fecal matter in the milk or that the cows won't poop while getting milked.

      I know! Raw milk, people not vaccinating their kids...how about you stop washing your hands, too? Since you're clearly throwing out all health advancements from the last 200 years!!
