Do you think the SVS Ultra Evolution speakers are worth it? What would you recommend? I love this guy he's running after what I want as well which is.. living in an apartment with thin walls and neighbors who don't like music. Wanting them to experienced an earthquake machine. Which would be the SVS evolution ultra towers either the smaller ultra towers which are nice earthquake machines in themselves or the ultimate earthquake machine the evolution Pinnacle speakers! May we please have everything louder than everything else so that our neighbors know that we're still alive in living.. again I must say I love this guy for what he's attempting... Now again may we please have everything louder than everything else thank you very very much
You make a good point regarding not disturbing the neighbors. I live in an apartment as well and am keeping that in mind. The Pinnacles are on my short list, but I have some concern the 24Hz bass might rock the neighbors a bit, depending upon what I play. Other speakers on my list go down to 27, 22, and 18Hz (!); no subs ever. My current speakers go down to 30Hz, and I've had no complaints; the guy below me has never said he could even hear my system when I've asked. Also, most music doesn't go down that far, save a pipe organ (I do have some of that). I'll have to do auditions to help me figure things out. Thanks.
5 6 years ago I was thinking of buying Svs but I bought Klipsch Cornwall IV and Forte IV they sound very real and mainly for movies when you listen to them you experience the movies
Great setup I haven't listened to a system like this guy's system, even when I listen to it on TH-cam with my old phone, it sounds perfect even without headphones, the sounds sound very real, I have never heard such a real sound before. Cornwall IV and Forte IV are Klipsch's best series
Thanks for your great review. SVS Evolution Series has seen a lot of hate lately with the measurements from Erin and the recent GR Research vs Andrew saga. But I have to agree with you, these are a great option for those who want something a step up from a sound bar or HT in a box. The towers are out of my price range, but I am looking to go with 3 Evolution Centers as my LCR with 4 x SB1000 pros, Prime Elevations and Prime book Shelves to complete a 10.4 Auro 3D setup. For the major of normal HT enthusiasts, I think SVS is a great direction to go with.
Hey thanks for the feedback! I agree for most of us regular folk these are more than enough and they blow any soundbar out of the water by miles. I’d super appreciate it if you used my link!
I can't say they're the "best" because there are so many I haven't heard that go way beyond my budget. What I can say is they're the best I've ever owned and they sound amazing to my ears.
Can I use the ultra evolution center as lcr? Just curious , because I noticed they are curved, standing them up wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the time alignment? I own klipsch 8000f ii s towers with quad svs subs. Just wanted your input.
I have no idea what the CF-30's sound like but coming from my Polk Signature Series it's a total step up, even going down a woofer size the SVS are on another level. Should you buy I'd appreciate you using my link! Are the bookshelf speakers the only ones you're looking at?
So because of my whole black mold situation where I was forced to toss all my possessions I was totally blessed by SVS with this system and I can't thank them enough. There was just no way I was going to be able to afford to replace an entire home theater (among all my other possessions) and after chatting with SVS and explaining my situation we came to an agreement. That doesn't mean this review was "bought" and going to be biased, it really is a huge step up from the Polk system I had and like all my videos if I find any negatives I always include them.
I have a Klipsch Thx-6000 LCR from 15 years ago and I still use them and they sound great. I compared the Svs Ultra Evolution series to them. The Thx series easily crushed them in movies and there is no difference between the Evolution series and the old Svs. It's not worth upgrading. But I like the Klipsch Thx series a lot. it sounds neutral and detailed, for example, if I were to compare it, it sounds like Star Wars and Kong Skull Island, the mid bass is very clean, but the SVS sounds dirty, I will not change the 15-year-old system for a long time, because there are very few competing brands
15 years later and they still compete with modern speakers, great investment! Haven’t heard the older SVS models but coming from Polk Signature Series they’re a huge step up
@@JacobDarkOfficial I always find most older systems to be pretty good, the thx series I use sounds very close to the Klipsch Cornwall Iv series and at max volume it plays without any distortion.
Yes from a soundbar these are a great upgrade but they are overpriced especially the towers for what you get . I’ve had the original ultras and loved them but I’ve moved on from svs
I'm not too worried about measurements and prefer to use my ears. The Denon X3800H measures badly and is not recommended on audio science review yet remains one of the most popular best sellers in the line up. Coming from the systems I've owned, this is a huge step up and I'm completely satisfied.
Measurements 4 a speaker is like a cars Measurements saying it can go 0-60 in whatever, but i want to know how dose it feel.. Use your ears is the best way to tell what u like. Unless your a ture audio file were u have ocd about the speaker having to measure perfectly b4 its something u want. 90% of people into hometheater just want something that they like the sound of. I agree that they are alittle high in price thats why I went with the previous Utra speakers. I couldn't go wrong when they dropped the price on them.
@@JacobDarkOfficial Thank you SIR. much RESPECT. plan on purchasing SVS ULTRA EVOLUTION PINNACLE SPEAKERS next year. Counting the days.. Thanks again....
Here is the perfect musical passage to test your speakers amongst apartments with thin walls and many neighbors who are not music lovers and that is. You need to play the first 2 minutes of the film score for the movie.. close encounters of the third kind any decibel level of about 85 DB which will be more than enough to let your neighbors know you exist

Great review! Love your setup! I bet they sound great in your room. I am running the Titan’s and they are also fantastic!
They absolutely do! Been running an entry level Denon S770H and am upgrading to an X3800H to help maximize them.

Looks like a great sound setup! Not over the top and just right in size 😊
Funny you mention size as I chose these specifically for an apartment. In fact I have an "apartment home theater" video coming soon.
Jacob, u have a beautiful setup.
@@tomkue612 Thanks! It makes movie night incredible for sure.
SVS great products. Their evolution series are great.
They've completely changed my home theater experience and I'd recommend them to anyone. Which speakers do you have?

Wow, those look amazing! I love the curved design and speakers on the back?! That’s wild. So are these ones the best yet?

I wonder if the svs ultra bookshelves would be an upgrade from my energy cf-30 towers.

@JacobDarkOfficial yeah, I'm trying to declutter the look of the room.
Gotcha, yea I’m trying to decide if I’m gonna stick with my OLED or a 4K 3D projector on a 120” screen
Thx for the video, did you buy these or were they sent to you?

Arent the woofers 8 inch ?
I believe the Pinnacle which are the top model in the line up have 8"; I have the Towers which have 5.25"
Sizes are 5-2.5 in
6-1/2 in
8- in
Price is $3,000
$,4000
$5,000

Thanks Dan yea these are my first "serious" speakers as I considered the Polks entry level so at that point where I'm wowed by them.

well they measure pretty bad. if u see the reviews. and are extremely overpriced. especially in canada and Australia….

85 would be crazy loud in my space lol, I average 60-62
