Primer is hydroscopic, which means it absorbs moisture. It will not protect you jig from rusting, and will instead encourage rusting. This will also be the case for any primer you apply to your car. This will be further exacerbated by your outdoor shop and salt air enviornment.
Hi Pete. Well that jig is a really good investment, it makes such a difference being able to get to everything as you say. Looking forward to seeing the “real work” starting on the chassis and body of the car, you’ve certainly got a big job there. Great stuff👍
ANOTHER GOOD VIDEO GIVES PEOPLE LIKE ME MORE CONFIDENCE TO TACKLE THE LITTLE JOBS ON THE CAR WHICH I THOUGHT WERE TO DIFFICULT TO START BUT LOOKING AT MILDRED ITS A CASE OF JUST START AND GET IT DONE WELL DONE >
Hi Pete, I am enjoying watching your videos and the project. It is a good job you have a enough charismatic on-screen presence to distract me from the camera's focus shifting!
yer you would have thought i had the skills to sort that out wouldn't you. it is sorted now but have to wait for the videos to catch up, i filmed a bunch without realising, bloody annoying, thanks for watching
hi pete great videos I have had 3 moggies a 4 door a traveller and then a 2 door saloon. The guy who did my welding had a rollover jig that bolted to the wheel nut studs. You had to leave the running gear in place of course!
Hi do you know by any chance what's the height needed for a Morris on that jig? My garage is 1.9m high and I am not sure if it would be high enough... Great videos very inspirational!
Great vid, its making me consider doing same instead of buying one all done. Have you considered a mobile sand blasting firm. I ve used these for an old mill in France and god it cuts through the grime so quickly and being outside the mess may be manageable!
Please switch auto focus off...it doesn't help! Please also don't hold back....if the jig has faults let's me hearing just how bad/difficult they make the job....no holds barred! Enjoying the videos despite all the niggles.
hi thanks for watching the bloody auto focus ! we have stopped filming with it but obviously have a few vids in the bank. are you anything to do with Rolloverjigs ?

As usual, a good video with lots of information.
Glad you think so!
You've done a really good honest video. Thanks very much. Does it work safely if you leave the engine in ?

little by little, dont view it as an entire job, break it down into manageable size jobs and its a lot easier to tackle
