When the wild Krabs said the hardest thing to do as a creature adventurer is not interfere I wanted to cry they are such good people they could stop the lion hunt and save the elephant if they tried but they knows that lions gotta eat unlike the animated tv show where the wild kratts constantly save animals from their predators mostly because it would be too dark for kids to see animals die

There is one scene in a wild Kratts episode where they film a cobra fighting a mongoose, and the mongoose won. They do also mention briefly the ecological implication of no predators in their food web episode.
In short, there are wild Kratts scenes that do mention the importance and nature of predators getting their kills. It balances the ecosystem at the end of the day

Why y’all complaining so much, the whole point of the show is to BE THE CREATURE. Part of it is nature documentary, the other is to film what it would look like if humans were to experience the same things as the animals. They are trained professionals, and these were all filmed before more extensive research was conducted on wildlife (therefore, the safety precautions we have now weren’t all there yet). Just calm down and watch the documentary lmao

@Trip Kangaroo, I am absolutely your biggest fan in the entire world, if not definitely at least in the entire United States of America, where I was born and reside, I have been watching animal documentaries, long before there was an Animal planet, or even a "Net Geo-Wild', I literally can remember it like it was yesterday, the first-ever wild documentaries, particularly lion documentaries, hunting zebras and wildebeest, back then that was all it showed, and it was called "wild discovery", and it was perfectly was about lions, and the big cats in Africa period. keep doing the work that you are doing, I love you guys both as brothers, I wish you truly were, or that we knew each other in some way or another, I absolutely fell in love, respectfully that is, with your work, and your humor is attitudes, and the care that you put in, towards your work, with the being safe, but also making sure you not only respect, but also keep the a********* that you film, I saw you guys cover tire tracks, footprints of your own, and all type of things, in order to not lead people, two wild dogs site, or different places where our wild life lives, that would make it easy for people, pacifically the Masai, with the cattle, who do not like them so much, to track them down and kill them, and I've never heard anyone else feel mean, even think about something like that, I truly feel as though your work is worthy, of a Tony award, and should be recognized, along with others, in that field, at there is anything at all, I could do to help, I would absolutely love to, as I am a advocate for animal rights, and trying to change your laws for poachers, because they are living, breathing, preacher's, that actually feels real pain, so just because they can't speak, and our language because they are a lion, or whatever, does not mean that the person, should get some type of big fine, and unsupervised probation, I believe they should be charged, just like they would be it was a human being, that was mute, or deaf, again because they actually feel, and know what's going on,(WARNING, This Part Below this (⬇️) ⬇️DOES CONTAIN RATTED R, language & & IS ALLDO, for mature audiences only, SO, IF YOU'RE BELOW THE AGE OF 17, PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE READING. BTW This has not been approved, or written by thee owner of this channel, bye-bye me only, and it's the contentmy thoughts, and my thoughts only regarding the situation, that I will be talking about⬇️) singly I kind of look at it, almost alike, attempted murder against human being, when a serial killer, or someone, had kidnapped, or broken in someone's apartment, to do vile things to young girls in children, & making sure that they deceased, before they leave, I'm like Bundy cases, (victums of 2/12yrolds 1/15yr old, that we know of, a total of 40 confirm victims, with the oldest being 22) & I thought about a cases particular one, when the intruder after doing everything he did, In the bad that the young lady was in, 24ys, left with a broken neck and everything else, and then he said the bed on fire, along with the whole apartment, and no one knows to this day, how she was able to make it to her balcony, and jump over it,and after being literally in the hospital, for a year-and-a-half, and although she will never ever be able to talk again, and she isthe most bravest person I've ever met in my life, she's learn how to walk again, with a walker, sometimes she has to use her wheelchair, and she has learnt how to write again, with her left hand, words, she was an artist, and she Drew her own composites picture, a year later, and they did find out he was the suspect, and a twelve-year-old missing case, which he confessed to, in order to pass the death penalty for that case, which he would get life sentences, but had he not, my point is that, just because she's survived all of that, are we supposed to give him a pass, because you know you get much less time, for attempted murder, then you do for murder, or because she can't tell you everything that happened, and there's just so happen to be, because of her lengthy time in the hospital, and how horrific the crime was, all of the medical documentation, what's the evidence, and the link was of course his DNA, so how can it be any different, when an animal is picked up, by the ASPCA, in the horror most horrible conditions you could ever think of, some much worse there than living in the third world country, chained up to a fence in the backyard full of fleas and insects all of their lives, with empty pot, flipped over, that they used to use for water, that the dog can't even get to,but it's only a hundred degrees out, and the pot is empty anyways, and there's a water hose right next, or right in the backyard,or I was watching One case, that I was very involved in, someone took they hated cat, so they took their neighbors cat's, put them in a sleeping bag, tied a sheet around it, and through the other part of the sheep around a tree, and let their pit bulls, tear the two cats inside apart, then through the evidence in the dumpster, right in the back of the alley, right next to the neighbor's house, geniuses,so it was very hard after the cat was the cats were missing for days, and them the order, and the plus 90-degree summer weather, what lead to the truth, they were arrested, fingerprinted, went before a judge, we're given, what they call "harsh", penalties, because of the nature of the case, which meant $1,000 Bond, so they got a bail bondsman, which meant they only had to put up 10%, which turned that to be a hundred dollars, they were find another twelve hundred, on which they were able to work off during community service, and two years probation, and that was it, and they got all six months early with good behavior, when they weren't in jail in the first place, so because there's no medical examiner, that's going to come and speak up for them, and because they're not human, but felt every bit of this pain, it's that makes it okay, no the same way, they would have been if that was a human being, point blank, end of story,so that's what work I'm trying to get into, if you guys would ever like to collaborate, I would love too. 👍👍👍

How did they interfere? Did you not watch the video? The Lions had ZERO trouble hunting and interacting. You know to be able to do this in Botswana they have to be in a National Park or game reserve? This pride of Lions is international known for their hunting choices and they are observed almost constantly by conservation and researchers. They are so use to humans and hunting they probably don't even think about it. At what point did Kratt's "interfere?" Theres no evidence they caused anything.

You do realize this is the only way to analyze their behaviour right? In order to "conserve" we need to see what they do in the dark, and humans need light to do that. If you watched the video you'll noticed the lights had NO impact and actually they made far more kills than expected. You make it out to be like they are the only people to do this, where as every single african wildlife researcher has done far more of what they did. They did it to teach.. They did NOT interfere.

Young elephants are easy preys at night when the visions of their moms are very poor. Less efforts but big rewards for lions to hunt young elephants. Most of the times, from what I have watched from all these videos, elephants, both young and mature, tend to forget to use their trunks and ivory as weapons to fight with predators, but when I watch the videos about how bull elephants kill human and destroy buildings when they are in the Indian parades, they have shown their hidden attacking power that most of the them forget to use when being in danger.

This is not the biggest predator/prey relationship I can think of. Good documentary, though, minus the guy trying to 'stalk' the impala himself (?)

The Kratts would be in danger if they got out of the Jeep, because lions take it as a threat

Elephants being hunted. Unfortunately, there's too much interference from the filmmakers. In the last scene, we actually have the elephant bump into the car. It would be better to have a more distant viww of the hunt than be in that situation.

Don't they hold their guns with "bare hands" not "bear hands". Their "bare hands" would then be "human hands", not "bear hands". Oh, I cannot bare to think about bears and bare hands any more. It's barely worth dwelling on. I wonder if anyone has encountered a bear who scared him/her by baring his teeth and then taking a swipe at them with his bare hands, or is it his bear hands....?
