@hmm bruh 🤨 and you speeaked nonsense, steam deck is a console of course it would be better at gaming and have better catalog of games, 1080p is not the end of the world in small screens, what matter is color accuracy like the black levels, Contrast, srgb, Adobe rgb, dcip3, etc. Also talking about a laptop you can't play games without being plug in because they throttle the performance to try to keep the battery running for longer, but tou get at most 1 or 2 hours depending on the graphics settings. Yeah 2 years of software support is not ok, but you buy this primarily for gaming, doing emulation with something that fits on your pockets any of the devices you mentioned can do that. And samung can't even compete with this in terms of performance and throttle a lot more.
The presentation on these gaming phones are insane as the phone itself. Floss making 40 mins long videos has become my daily driver😂🤙always lit🔥

Owned the ROG phone 3 that I'm trying to sell. Trust me, the hype doesn't last even a month.
Also after gen 3, they added a Quad DAC. So the ROG line moving forward is audiophile grade quality with the right headphones. Make sure you use wired.

@@NoCommentaryLife My man, you pay at least $1400 for a phone that has no dust/water resistance, no physical triggers, no wireless charging, no expandable memory, no quad display and one of the worst cameras. I know you probably don't buy gaming phones for cameras but if the camera is gonna suck and it's gonna miss features like the ones I mentioned, the price shouldn't be high. Every phone has its perks and this one's perk is gaming. So why $1400?? And that's without the accessories. A decent phone, but overpriced as FCK. I don't think paying double the price in comparison to other phones is gonna give you double the experience and satisfaction.
If it had all these futures and a dope camera like flagships, then the price would be considerable, but even then, it'd still be crazy.

So of course other manufacturers aren't gonna match the features or "presentation". Samsung has had to increase their prices dramatically, as well. But they have fans that are pretty much grandfathered into their ecosystem. I know plenty of people who make well over 100k a year still buying 300 dollar phones, lol.

Still love my ROG Phone 2. This looks very compelling to me. Watching a Flossy Carter × White Shoes video for a product I'm not interested in buying is already entertaining as it is. But when it's for a product I'm actually interested in buying? Hell yeah!

@@6210classick I have to say, that's good to know. Thanks! It's not a huge deal to me but I guess it's a shame that the speakers and the headphone jack are a bit of a step down. Something that only long time users like yourself will notice. I still plan on using my ROG 2 for another year, it still works, but at the same time there's something boring about not upgrading often enough 😂 I guess if I do end up getting the ROG 6, I could always use the headphone jack at home on my ROG 2 can still be used as it's still perfectly usable, or use an external DAC although having a good one on the phone itself is so convenient!
I still got ROG2 but planning to upgrade to ROG6 or Blackshark5 pro or maybe 6. ROG2 still a beast though and still have good battery life

Absolutely love this phone! Unfortunately Asus should make one global model variant of these phones, with the entire US band capability support especially for the super high price tag. The Chinese version and the Tencent versions are the worst. This needs to be done and made aware to many people! Only 2 yrs of support and no OIS flagship camera. Definitely undercutting here Asus smh.

The lack of expandable storage is the one huge drawback. 512GB isn't enough anymore. Should've been at least a terabyte. Props for the headphone jack and included charging brick, though. Putting Crapple and Dimsung further out of touch with the hardcore consumer.

Man, Asus really know how to package things and make it look exclusive. It's the same with their gaming GPU's and laptops. Overpriced but cool as fk. It reminds me of the early days of Razer, when they released the Boomslang 2k mouse. It came in a tin box and felt really special (had to, 100$ for a mouse was unheard of back then). I bought this from Flossy!! It's indeed a lot of phone❤.
It's a good phone with great hardware, but in my region 95% of the ROG phone comes with defective, my Rog 6 only use for a week then camera, vibrating motor, fingerprint stop working. Now its in service centre, hopefully when I got it back it's gonna work just fine.
I've been reading about that on the Zentalk forums, people gets amazed by the specs but Asus' phones are too defective apparently.
Now you know how a female feels when the man is all that but then let down by performance longevity

Hi Floss, not sure if this is too nerdy for you, but I figured, both the S22 Ultra and ROG 6 phones, have smart amplifiers by Cirrus and speaker drivers made by "AAC Tech" So I did some digging and found Samsung has a slightly older Cirrus smart amp that doesn't drive as high as the newer one in the ROG 6/Black Shark. But it still says it's rated for 5.3W vs 7W. So I downloaded an equalizer, volume app, that boosts gain. Found that at around half volume theres significantly more low end on the S22 speakers. So I gave it a boost, notched up some of the 60Hz and 125Hz and it has vastly improved the sound. Not to ROG levels, but interesting none the less.
Damn floss do you thang man love watching your videos. You was getting hyped I love it I ain't gonna lie I was to. that is a certified beast though thinking about getting one I still got my ROG 2 but after seeing this time for me to upgrade.
This should be the minimum unboxing experience standard for anything above $200. It's absurd how phone manufacturers sell people on $1000 phones with generic boxes and no accessories whatsoever.
