Quite amazing how ROG upgraded their thermal technology and they doesn't want to disclose(not until JerryRigEverything) informations how they did it as it might tip off their competitors.
The thermals are covered in their press release kits, it's just most content creators don't cover it in much depth. Some of the more in-depth review websites go into detail on the new thermal solution.
I always wonder why many reviewers test device gaming performance just on Genshin 's tutorial. Why didnt they try on co-op or crowded monster to have a more specific test.

AR thing is kinda of cool, nice presentation, I think ROG 7-8 will support ray tracing and UE5 like pc level in 2020. Right now, we are stuck with UE4 due to optimizations and prcoessors limitations of heat and battery consumption. They have many gaming software running background+game, it might help lower heat but doesnt lower battery consumption.
@Bilbo Faggins cuz no one will buy it i can buy a ps5 and mid range phone with high end chip like the new xiaomi phones that run any game almost at the same settings and fps and there is no need for this phone if playing mobile games is not the only thing you do in your life
It realy makes you play better because not only the games run smoother, the air triggers helps a lot. The most practical accessory is the aero cooler as it allows you to set it up to maximum performance, and yes because it's a cooler. Good thing that it still uses the Kunai 3. . Personally, i liked these phones (mine is ROG3) but practically speaking it's too much for my financial capability. I only happen to capably bought one thru credit installment. And if the time comes that my phone reached its end of life, I'll probably just buy a mid-level one. :D I recommend this phone if you really have the budget and/or you're using it to stream given that you're already earning from it.

Personally, if you can't afford a phone upfront, you shouldn't buy that phone.
no one expects all memory to be currently in use. this is for predictability. you buy now and in the next 5 years you forget to invest money for another phone. in 5 years you will have a phone that is on par with the newest phones. every year and almost every brand shows a new phone model that is better than the previous model, but by a little. people pay the same huge amount of money every year to have a latest model phone that actually has very small and almost insignificant improvements. it will be many years until all other manufacturers reach this level, and you will save money all these years because you have the best offered on the market. not the newest but still the best. if you are one of those people who are mentally disabled and will do anything to have the latest model phone every year paying huge sums of money and all this just to keep up with the phone fashion and stand out with great pride that you have the latest . yes, you have the newest, but this newest has almost no difference to the previous outdated one, and the price is the same again. while with this phone in a year you will already have an old phone but in the next 5 years there won't be any more powerful and with better hardware than your phone and you will still be on top and even though you have your 5 year old phone you will be able to do everything with great ease and super speed, and then new phones will be harassed and will be much slower than yours.
@@dark00077 You still most likely wont need 18 gigs on phone in 5 years. On PC? Potentially on very high end games but on phone? Nah. Ram speed is what matters more, not the amount of it.
@@PavleSmiljanic In my opinion, it all depends on the person who will use it. it's a gaming phone, but i know a few people who bought the old model and don't use it for gaming, they use it for watching video, chatting, internet and everything else but not gaming. maybe you are right. maybe the one who buys it is not a fully avid gamer and rarely plays games, and therefore in this case the phone will be completely sufficient for him and after 5 years it will work for him again, but whatever here it is a question of 18 RAM memory for smartphone. that's a lot and will definitely benefit from all of this now and in the future. nothing is known what will happen tomorrow or for the future. now it may not be useful to have so much memory, but in the future they may be needed and may not even be enough. the more the more said Winnie the Pooh (and died of an overdose...) so let there be, they are not superfluous, the time will come and they will be used.
@@dark00077 I mean I don't rely on personal use, gaming or chatting. Current games on PC rarely use 10+ gigs of ram. Again, in 5 years, maybe they will go 20+ but on mobile? in 5 years, DDR5 will be standard and DDR6 will probably come out so all this 18gigs on phone will be useless.

i dont play mobile games very often, especially ones that are particularly demanding, but i am very tempted to get this phone simply because of the design, it looks absolutely fantastic
so you want to spend 1,300$ on a phone that will be useless in 2 years due to how bad the batteries are and degrade so much? Maybe if phone games were worth the cost to get this. But why even buy this phone when you can get a switch for way less and has better games and doesn't have a battery issue like phones do?
@@fighterpimp Agree
Wait does I really last 2 years?
@@fighterpimp oh really?! Dang haha I thought Asus already improved with their ROG line. I had bad experience with my asus phone years ago. Only last me a year and I am on iphone eversince. The design looks cool as they say but you are right. I only play light games with my phone max maybe Mobile Legends and I mostly play RPG games with my nintendo switch. ROG phone just looks really cool and also their laptops but my concern is will they last? 2 yrs is just a waste of money tbh. Iphone lasts me more than 5 yrs, don’t have any issues of lagging or phone shutting down on me and my switch is still alive at almost 4 yrs old lol.
WOW!!!
It has to be an unique experience, to hold this, to play on it and even to do the settings!
Just WOW!!!
EPIC phone man, so refreshing to see new ideas being pushed and innovated, did anybody take mobile gaming seriously at first? I didn't but now you know it's gonna be an element on what phone people get... Gadgets are required though thumbing a phone screen is a cumbersome chore after 20mins.... I've got a Note 20 that is a solid gaming phone with some tweaking but nothing like this brute!!!
5:48 Best content of this video 🤣🤣🤣
I am one of the biggest fan of ASUS ROG.
And the new asus rog phone 6 pro is insane, like from everywhere ( performance, battery, accessories, etc).
The best phone in whole mobile industry.
Also I like this video, bro.
You are working very hard.

Now that's a gaming phone, boots up with completing a game.
that feeling when a phone has more gaming potential than your actual computer..
But the games are outdated than ps1 games lol. Buying this which expensive than ps3 is like giving a begger a gold bowl and he will beg with that bowl
I've seen multiple smartphones, tablets, PC, laptops, etc to play games but as a mobile player myself. This one, I think it's worth purchasing with the extra separately accessories. 😭 I love it and am convinced to get it!
m13:37 i saw some fps drop even in this area, i recommend u to try this game in semaru city, that's where this game becomes so much heavy. (u just need to finish a quest called "The Outlander Who Caught the Wind." to explore furthermore)
The phone stays much cooler than the oneplus 10 pro...... That is some superb cooling system and the aeroactive cooler actually gives that system a edge at it...... Also the chipset is much better than the non plus variant..... I love this complete package is only for gamers and does what it is supposed to.... Maybe expensive but worth that
Any particular reason why you compared it with a OnePlus?
@@jeettrivedii because it has a snapdragon 8 gen 1.....and also it heats up a lot in that mode which gives extra boost or something.... And this also has xmode+ so that it why... If you are a onplus fanboy and have issues with me then i dont care.... Have a nice day

Quite amazing how ROG upgraded their thermal technology and they doesn't want to disclose(not until JerryRigEverything) informations how they did it as it might tip off their competitors.
Jerry already made a video on this phone.
The thermals are covered in their press release kits, it's just most content creators don't cover it in much depth. Some of the more in-depth review websites go into detail on the new thermal solution.
The best part was NOKIA 1110 and Size comparision with banana 😂😂

I always wonder why many reviewers test device gaming performance just on Genshin 's tutorial. Why didnt they try on co-op or crowded monster to have a more specific test.
All of those game test is a new acc , and they probably dont play genshin. Unless they have their own acc log-in.
Yup somethin like spiral abyss would really show it where lots of character abilities are used etc which usualy makes the phone frezze up etc but yeh gotto play the game or have some endgame player lend their account if they aint playing it
And they play casually, the fps on apex legends mobile will drop on any phone if you bunnyhop with 100 km/h
You just assume everybody plays genshin?🤣
Man mobile gaming is going to be the next level
At the rate I've seen cracked screens, and people dropping their phones this thing needs to come with a case made out of adamantium for the price they're selling it at. One could buy a powerful laptop, but then they're not as portable as phones. I love tech like this even if I'll never be able to afford one, lol.
THIS IS THE BEST AND MOST PEACEFUL PHONE REVIEW I HAVE EVER SEEN!, HATS OFF TO YOU!
I've watched this video too many times while deciding if I want to get this phone or not. It is $1300 (USA) and will release on Oct 20
I did pre-order it and your video did have a little influence on my decision. Thank you!
It also comes with the cooler fan, I don't think it will come with the gamepad. I just need a screen protector and I'm set.
This phone and a PS4 Controller= New Console ! 🔥
What a powerful phone! Next level mobile gaming. Awesome stuff ASUS! 🔥

@DDiyorbek for real man 💀
The flex is real I love flexing it on my colleagues and batch mates, love them get irritate and March out of the room with their so called samsungs and iPhones
@DDiyorbek I've had every single rog in the past, the legion dual and the red magic 6 , this will be a fine addition to my collection .... I mean it looks premium enough the designs and the specs are definitely worth it especially with that storm white
why? That makes no sense. It's not like Asus ROG phones have limited stocks
@@Aurora-tz6ws I don't see the point of flexing it tho
i think its a bit overkill for mobile gaming, but good quality of life improvements (charging port on side for gaming, that cable causes my hand to cramp up from time to time.

I recommend this phone if you really have the budget and/or you're using it to stream given that you're already earning from it.
Better off getting a gaming laptop and mouse for less than what this phone costs alone.
@@oakmen4604 nahhh... There's no point of suggesting apples to someone who wants oranges.
They have their own games. Everyone has their own lifestyle and preferences.
If im someone who's always on the go, doesn't want like carrying too much, and likes gaming, then a gaming phone is most likely what they want.
@@ImmortalShiro for $1200?!?!
@@oakmen4604 what's $1200 for someone who has money!?
Besides, is ASUS forcing us to buy their phone? Nope.
Is it our money that will be used to pay if others wants it? Nope.
We're simply not the intended market.
@@ImmortalShiro if someone who has money, $1200 isn't nothing. That's why they have money. If you have someone else's money, yeah you would not have a connection to the work needed to make $1200. Taking 6 hours for a skilled surgeon to earn that. And on top of all that, how long does ASUS support their phones for? Are these people being encouraged to finance such a frivolous purchase? Personally, if you can't afford a phone upfront, you shouldn't buy that phone.
14:29 There are actually parts of the game map that we use to test the power of cell phones.
Damn this phone is so fast I wonder how good it can emulate
I am thinking about whether 18 GB of RAM is really useful?! I don't think you can ever use more than half of it!
It has more ram than my computer…………
no one expects all memory to be currently in use. this is for predictability. you buy now and in the next 5 years you forget to invest money for another phone. in 5 years you will have a phone that is on par with the newest phones. every year and almost every brand shows a new phone model that is better than the previous model, but by a little. people pay the same huge amount of money every year to have a latest model phone that actually has very small and almost insignificant improvements. it will be many years until all other manufacturers reach this level, and you will save money all these years because you have the best offered on the market. not the newest but still the best. if you are one of those people who are mentally disabled and will do anything to have the latest model phone every year paying huge sums of money and all this just to keep up with the phone fashion and stand out with great pride that you have the latest . yes, you have the newest, but this newest has almost no difference to the previous outdated one, and the price is the same again. while with this phone in a year you will already have an old phone but in the next 5 years there won't be any more powerful and with better hardware than your phone and you will still be on top and even though you have your 5 year old phone you will be able to do everything with great ease and super speed, and then new phones will be harassed and will be much slower than yours.
