Great project! I don’t need one but I like it. Be real cool in a moment and pop hamburger joint. Then again you may be able to get it several restaurants. $2000 doesn’t sound like a bad deal.
Looks great to me! Sometimes you just have to make things for yourself and not worry about the cost. These days it's just hard to make money trying to sell things like this because of the cheap alternatives that you mentioned.
I like it! This table set is in the same realm as the bar you built for your cousin. Honestly I don’t think you would want to build a bunch of these because it would be very monotonous and you would get very bored doing the same thing. There’s a market for one of kind things, furniture, building, artwork and etc. be open to people coming to you to build them “a one of a kind thing “ wealth people are very much into one of a kind things. Money to these folks is not the problem the problem is finding someone to make their one of kind thing. My guess is that you have never come up against a problem you couldn’t take care of. Your motto of using the tools you have to do what you need to do is extremely good. There’s no replacement for skill, know how, and talent.
I like to use an orbital palm sander with 220 grit on flat aluminum and glass bead blasting on curved aluminum surfaces, they both achieve the same effect of an even fine metal flake paint job! The trick is to clean it very well as you sand with a wax and grease remover and then clear! Just my preference, passing it on.
Well that was unexpected great outcome would like to see this in a high end cafe or wine bar, underated material ally, but the cost would maybe be too. much love You're attitude and narration always good for a laugh 😂 take care regards 🇬🇧🏴📹
Very nice, but I'm sure you'd tweek it a bit if you did another one. That's the way Ford builds vehicles each year. Beware of sharp corners that could snag a lady's dress. I've been thinking of something like that for a four sided square outdoor picnic table. You could make a steel frame kit. The customer could then have his own project, putting 2x6 wood together for the top and seats. Your frame could be done in subsections that the customer could put together himself with nuts and bolts. I once made a welded steel framed heavy duty yard table ( aprox 28" x 6' x 2' high ), for beside my BBQ. It's at the perfect height and does everything. It also acts as an outside work bench , a seat, a platform for my small propane wok burner / deep fryer. I even lie on it to suntan. With a shop like yours, you could throw a few table frames together in your spare time. Leave a few in your yard for people to see. A mailbox / table / business sign combo might bring people in. Keep up the good work. I luv your videos.
Like it... FYI, Did some raw metal kitchen furniture for a customer in the past and used a small vibratory sander for the final finish and got a cool little irregular fine scuff detail.
I love your country boy “can do” Ingenuity, CB. Plus, all those high tech specialty tools, like your winch powered brake. [I’m guessing its a winch that hook is attached to]. There must be an angle mark on the side of the brake, or else how in the world do you control that winch powered brake to stop at the correct angle of bend? Hey man, that booth build is slicker than a greased frog! I could see how some fast food burger/taco joints could use your services on a remodel of their eating areas. You do some interesting things for sure. You give us a great variety of skillsets to watch. Most appreciated Sir!!!
I think it’s fantastic. The look is exactly perfect, and you did a great job. I think if you could sell something like that for 2 grand, good on you, but you’d better plan on somebody else that can do the same thing for $500 with more efficient tooling stealing all your business. Of course, if you could roll the money into better (less labor-intensive) tooling, that might work out for you.
Great work! That turned out awesome! I'm not a huge saftey sally but watch out for the plasma with no safety glasses because the UV light can cook your eyes even if it's not too bright without you noticing.
Good build! You should have done a slip roll build first to prep for your booth build. Looks like you got the seats shaped pretty well though. Thanks for taking the time to show us the build
CB, I would like to have one of these for my cabin buy if you decide to make and sell some, I would take a kit with the aluminum done but a cut list for the steel, That will save on shipping and most folks that weld can build the frame from locally sourced steel, Just an idea.Thanks.
I'd like to know if your serious and if so how far away you are from Buckhannon, WV...would you be interested in buying this item?...I said in the video that the labor would make the cost $2000 but if I were willing to sell at $775 just to cover material cost would you be interested?
I would like to do an entire man cave corner kitchen like this. Counter tops cabinets and all. I find myself building more and more of my own stuff raw these days and this video gets the ideas rollin.
I definitely like it! It looks great and I appreciate your ingenuity and willingness to take the time to do it. When I saw it in the opening of the video, all I could think of was how much time it would take to build it in my shop or your shop with the tools we have. I think you’re correct in that you would have to have to build a large quantity of them to make money at it. In that case, you could probably sub out the brake work. The finishing is the real time killer.
I can't verify that but thats the term I'll use for it until someone schools me up on it...I always thought of cosmoline as the waxy stuff on military firearms and the stuff on the tubing is like that
18:27 Why do you have 2 thrive patches on here & other parts of videos? I thought you were supposed to put 1 on every day\morning? Anyways, I like this project CB. It looks good & is something that many people could use(aka buy\pay you money for) in their house, shop, man cave, coffee shop, restaurant, etc. 👍🏻👌🏻🛠️🔧
Do you think the table top needs a gusset or a 45° brace down to frame underneath. I know you gave it the sit-on-it test but I'd be worried about someone 'less slim' than you trying to sit on top of the table which happens at every restaurant I've been in. Just a heads up if anyone wants this for any kind of commercial customer service establishment - ie coffee shop, restaurant, etc. I just wanna let you CYA, ya know? 👍🏻😀
I've started using the Thrive Duo Elite patches and with the Duo Elite there are 2 patches...one goes on the left side of the body and the other on the right...these are a higher caffeine DFT and I like them...definitely will keep using them
I don't think it should have a gusset...to me that would take away from the design....but if I were making it for a commercial application I probably would make it stronger
Oh the residue on the CR tubing. I have always thought it was a dry mixture of oils and dust. But I am no expert. Lol
Great project! I don’t need one but I like it. Be real cool in a moment and pop hamburger joint. Then again you may be able to get it several restaurants. $2000 doesn’t sound like a bad deal.

Right on
That booth is awesome
Sir, that is a work of art!!! You are a true artist, craftsman. I salute you.
Thank you very much!
Looks good cb! 👌🏻🤘🏼🤘🏼
Your doosenations were not complete. lol. Thanks for the smile and the video.
Man I wish I had your talent. Awesome work.
Thanks
And Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
I think that is supper cool design, It would look good in a fifty's soda shop. Great job CB. Love your channel, can't wait for what is next!!!
Thanks 👍

I don't want to build a bunch of them but if I could sell this one I would build one more
Great video like always C.B. ! I’m honestly getting my old artist drive again. Keep making awesome content!
LIKE IT ??? I love it that is amazing
Wicked finish on it too nice job 👍👍

Interesting...I always thought it was mill scale???

Very stylish, I would like to see some more of your crafty furniture steampunk designs.
Cheaper furniture doesn't last. This will be forever.
I hope I can afford to do more
Very pretty! A rolled bend would have been great and counter sink screws but very nice!
I don't have the tools to bend it any other way than the way I did it
Wheres the fun in buying cheap JUNK . Make what you want i do it all the time and Love everything ive made .
Right on 👍
Looks awesome
I like it, wud definitely suit an air bnb property
Nice work 😎👍
Wow! The end result is really somethin very nice
This is right up my alley. I built an aluminum table that's precision machined and screwed together. I did a special coating instead of clear.

Yea I use my Hillbilly Bridge Crane to run my brake...I don't use any angle marks I just eyeball it....use "The Force"
May the force be with you
Your a legend 👍🏼😁
Perfect example of use what you have,, then you will always have what you need. 👌
As usual, Beautiful job!

I listed it on Marketplace for $775 to see what happens
Great video, but now I want a sheet metal brake and set it up with the crane
It works
Looks good. I probably would have used stainless countersunk screws or stainless low profile pan head screws.
Great work! That turned out awesome! I'm not a huge saftey sally but watch out for the plasma with no safety glasses because the UV light can cook your eyes even if it's not too bright without you noticing.
Dude, that is sweet!!! I know you got a bunch of time into it. Nice!
I like it
Definitely a market for it. Come up with a theme and more items.
I hope I can afford to build more
Great video!!!!👍
Thank you! 👍

I have it for sale for $775...let me know if your interested in buying it
Good job CB Thanks for the video
Perfect setup for a person living in a tiny home.
I agree
Nice job! Would love to have one of these in my house.

ingenious using the crane together with the press break!
Yes, using the crane was awesome. Have you done a video on the crane and shop?
I definitely like it! It looks great and I appreciate your ingenuity and willingness to take the time to do it. Excellent video!! I like the concept!!
Awesome, that is so Cool !!
I'll take a chocolate milkshake 😄
I think it looks great, but my wife says it looks like it belongs to the county jail
I like it! Serious amount of time to that with the tools you or I have!
Nice work CB, looks like about 3K to me.
Listed it on Marketplace for $775
The coating I been told is called cosmolean.
I can't verify that but thats the term I'll use for it until someone schools me up on it...I always thought of cosmoline as the waxy stuff on military firearms and the stuff on the tubing is like that
👌
Thanks 👍
12:12 😅 Listen to the metal man! It's mojo will tell you what to do next! 😅😅👍🏻👌🏻🛠️🔧🤔😂
