Great sir........excellent work I AM ALSO FROM IIT Kharagpur .It is spread across 2100 acres and also called mini town. From hostel to academic area ,classroom complex,it is about 2.4. Km and also each hostel is also separated very much . Here everyone has a bicycle .Bus are available inside and rather compulsory because it is so large .. It is the biggest campus having many departments, business school,law school,medical school,architecture,machine learning, Artificial intelligence centres in it. It has olympic size swimming pool, almost real cricket stadium ,many football grounds and many other game courts. There is a gymkhana escpecially for playing.There are 25 hostels inhabiting 22000 inhabitants with dense forests ,nice Flora and fauna . It has 14 academic units ,3 helipads,and also a big secondary school. It is a beautiful big IIT… SO THIS IS BETTER THAN BOMBAY IIT
As a boy aate ho, man banke jaate ho...awesome. Here we always have cut throat competition and in the mean time our mind gets groomed to handle situations tactfully. Bdw this is my last semester and I feel nostalgic about the thought to leave IIT Bombay. People who think IIT Bombay is just a hype; they should seriously come here and see that it's the place where every person you meet is the future engineer/ athlete/ dancer/ singer/ politician/ entrepreneur/ social activist,etc.
@Angelo Wilson they do get it but it also can't be ignored that nit hamirpur cse highest package was 1.2 cr in 2019 meaning he had beaten almost 100% iit bombay cse student in placements what will u say bout that, iits are just hyped bcz of the coaching and media we I know the reality of iits. Yes it's tough to reach there but since the seats are so less can u expect that only 5000 engineers from india are worthy enough. That's bullshit. Headstart doesn't mean anything I have seen people getting an avg package from iits and people bagging brilliant packages from nits Or non iits it's just that u have to do hrdwrk nothing else

I was there on 19th and 20th Jan for the seminar , I explored the whole campus for me it was just like a huge maze in the beginning I.e. on 19th then on 20th most the areas and places became familiar to me - the campus is not as awesome as that what I had expected but still the evening scene of the powai lake is one of the beautiful spot over there . I would rate it 7/10 the whole iit campus as many new constructions were going on at that time inside the campus
