Though I wasn’t born in Alabama, I’ve been raised in this state for the better part of a decade. Sweet Home Alabama is legit a part of every Alabamian.
It's insane man. I used to go to small venues on weekends and they would always play their set. Alot of people liked them and it just amazes me to see how big they've gotten. they're from San Antonio,TX btw.
I saw this live back in 2012 with one of my old friends and my pops. We were chilling next to a stage that was undergoing a soundcheck, completely unaware of what we were about to experience.....upon a burning body right in our faces. Within 12 minutes my torso was bruised. It was ducking awesome one of the best memories that I have.
Never noticed this till just now, but at "cowboys from hell drink for free", the backup vocals are "re-spect-walk". I'm loving this band more and more every day. \m/
There's a reaction video with this guy who's from the north and he's reviewing the song he says they're a pain to a rip-off and he's putting them down not understanding the prize and a shout-out with cowboys from hell and the walk reference. I did not even waste my time explaining and I just laughed
And it does the same for me!! I'm an old fool and didn't hear this song until I traveled across country to visit a friend, and around a campfire I heard this. I was so super pumped, no one understood, than my fellow friend that was born and raised in Texas. It's pride BEYOND pride to be from Texas. I'm not Texan, i'm not even American, I live in Northern Ireland, this is soo cool though! this is the first song of theirs I've listened to and the atmosphere in this video looks unbelievable, think I've found myself a new band to listen to constantly!
I've seen the lads twice here in London, England. Back to back nights at the Kentish Town Forum, both shows were scintillating. They fizzed with pure metal energy. I'm still hoping to see them again one day, health permitting. Brilliant band live.
Seen them live yesterday for the first time, and i was blown away, Tightest fucking band out, Lead singer knows how to get a crowd moving, and his vocals where more brutal that the record, even the bass player blew me away with his backup vox
I saw these dudes at warped tour this year, they put on a great show. I met the lead singer after the show and got his autograph, he was very cool. If they happen to swing by your parts, go check them out! they also have a badass t shirt with hank hill on it that says "king of the mosh" lol

i dont get how people arent understanding the pantera reference... these are dudes living the cowboys from hell style of texas metal. Multiple times they have been compared to pantera by interviewers and frankly if pantera ever did a comeback these should and hopefully would be the guys to tour with them. they are bringing that oldschool vibe into the new generation of metal and tbh they are the most current metal band thats holding "metal" together. saying fuck these winny guys that do cleans like a 12 yearold girl let keep this shit angry and pumping cause thats what metal is
I Hope you do know that every metalhead would piss on this band? If you like them then do it i dont care.but what you just wrote is faaalse.
