Kakurenbo, or Hide & Seek, is a favorite game for kids around the world. Shinoharu sees a child and a mother playing Kakurenbo every time he walks through a park nearby. He's impressed with the mother being an entertainer and an actress during the game, but Fumika has a different approach toward the game. She considers Kakurenbo a mirror of real life, where kids learn the taste of success and failure the hard way.

Shinoharu, a professional rakugo performer, will be introducing rakugo stories and the charms of rakugo in this program to Fumika, a professional interpreter/translator, who basically has no interest in rakugo nor Shinoharu. The two will be chatting about Japanese culture and tradition in general as well, so even if you're not interested in rakugo, please check it out to know more about Japan.
