Join us as we reach Thursday Island after a long and grueling passage from Indonesia, battling no wind and no autopilot. You’d think the hard part is over, but we still have nearly 500 nautical miles to go to reach Cairns, our final destination. After a brief one-day rest, refueling, and restocking, we set off again.
The journey proves tougher than anticipated. While we have the option to stop along the coast, we need to keep making progress. We transition from a windless stretch to facing relentless and dangerous squalls, all without an autopilot. Exhausted and battling the elements, we finally make it to Flinders Island. Here, we decide to stop, as the wind has turned against us despite the predictions, and our fuel supplies are running low once more. Will we ever make it to Cairns?

@@shmegg7335 Yeah it took a bit longer than anticipated, my pharmacist friend told me it should take 12h to get back to normal after removing the patch but it took about 2 days. She also told me to wash my eye with some serum at the time. It was mostly the day light that was annoying but my eyes are very dark so not as bad as if it would have happened to Yann!
