Aldi charging 1/3 rd more for a bag than a tub OR saving 1/3 rd by buying a tub

ALDI QUALITY STREET AND CELEBRATIONS WARNING OR MONEY SAVING YOU DECIDE:
Bag - less packaging , less shelf space , looks like its less waste all around - Tub , more space , more plastic more waste . Yet the tub is cheaper? I dont get it?

Bwahahahahahahhaha this really threw me today , I just could not understand why a big bulky tub cost less than a bag . Well thanks to Facebook my head has been kind of sorted out . The price of the tubs being cheaper may be due to bulk purchasing . There by reducing the cost . Also the bags need two bags compared to one tub for the same amount of Quality Street . Yet I struggle still , to see how that can be more than a third dearer . Anyway the answer is to buy the tub, and pass that around rather than buy the share bag to pass around . Real Terry F**kwit moment for me there today , going to blame it on age
