I'm here playing Mario Odyssey on Yuzu in 4K, too bad Nintendo does not apreciate that, I think they are jealous that many can do a better job at making the game look better, while they can't even run the game a 900p
Raw horsepower is not a free lunch, if they did focus on that like you wanted, people would still resent the console, it would just be for a different reason instead.
thousand+ dollar modern pc vs 300 dollar handheld from 7 years ago who will win?
This video honestly made me tear up a little. So many memories. I'm 40 years old and these games have been here most of my life.
Nintendo: YOU SHALL ONLY PLAY OUR GAMES IN OUR HARDWARE
Also Nintendo: **Skips a ton of mario games in this video bc they aren't readily available for purchase**
It's really sad.
Play only on OUR emulator
Sunshine and Galaxy were wiped
Emulation is illegal. Pay for the games instead of stealing
@@Cubeytheawesomethe newer ones are what "we" should pay for. The older ones like the SNES, N64, GCN, GBA, etc you can emulate. Nobody's gonna fire you.
Missing mainline games. Mario land 1, Mario sunshine, nsmb DS/wii/2, galaxy 1 and 2, and 3D land. (All I can remember)
Thank you for the beautiful gift
This a reminder to keep emulation alive
True.
It's literally the same as buying a DS game, like NSMB (a game Nintendo isn't selling) off E-Bay. The money isn't going to Nintendo either way.
Have fun in prison then.
I noticed that every time that a new game is shown, a new stage transition is used, a vine for SMB1 to SMB2, a pipe for NSMBU to SM3DW, a neat little touch.
We won’t forget what you’ve done with Citra and Yuzu, Nintendo.
Yeah you will.
i am with nintendo on that one. they be losing profit from emulators
@@ΊωνΔήμας-Τσιριγώτηςí get your point with yuzu, but Nintendo doesn't sell 3ds's anymore, so they wouldn't even be getting any money. Also the only reason I have yuzu is for my steam deck (and all of the ROMs are games I actually have on my switch)

Thanks for reminding me that I can play these on my PC.
You know you could have shown Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy if you weren't stupid enough to take them out after just 6 months 😑

How crazy would it be if Mario Galaxy and Sunshine were on Switch so it could be included in this video!
They are on Switch. Just not sold anymore.

Yuzu already had justice. They settled out of court.
They skipped over the GBA, GameCube DS, Wii, 3DS, and technically the Wii U. They skipped over more of Mario's history than they actually featured.

also 3d land,lost levels, nsmbds,nsmb2,nsmbw
@@ΊωνΔήμας-Τσιριγώτηςtrue but honestly I'm glad they didn't show the lost levels because just witnessing the level design of that game would probably break several TH-cam community guidelines lol

It's not the best game, but it's a crime not to include it.
I hurried & bought it off the 3DS shop before it was closed, so I have it in there & the original cartridge...but it needs to be on the Switch 😓
I expected that they would skip SMG2 again (and break my heart again). And then after Mario 64 came Fcking NSMBU! Happy Mario Day everyone and much Fun with this „Mario Through The Years“. Where’s your heart Nintendo?
Awesome mix, but it’s kinda surreal to not mention one of the galaxy games 😅
Because those are technically not available for Switch (Galaxy 1 was limited time only and 2 never got ported). This is just a poorly disguised ad

Justice for Yuzu!
It was already given justice. By a judge. Deemed illegal. LOL
@@DontKnowDontCare6.9 no it wasnt. nintendo and yuzu settled for 2.4 million dollars. you could've won actually if they decided to stay because it wasn't helping pirates. emulation itself is not illegal, its only illegal if you pirate games for it. yuzu required you to export your purchased copy of a game to yuzu so you can use it leagally (you both needed a nintendo switch and a legal copy of a game to do it). people did find work-arounds but it wasn't by yuzu, so there is a high chance that they would've won if they would'nt have setteld.
i really loved the classics shown in this promotion (totally not ad) called super mario land, new super mario bros, new super mario bros wii, new super mario bros u, the original super mario 3d world, super mario sunshine, super mario galaxy, super mario galaxy 2, mario paint, hotel mario, super mario bros: the lost levels, super- wait, what? what do you mean they're not here?

Dude this has to be one of the best comments sections ever
Interesting how they skipped the 2000’s, really weird
Nintendo if you hate emulation and emulators so much, why you use one on your subscription service? The irony
Because then you pay for a game that you already own again. Nintendo loves that.
Because the games on the NSO are authorized by them, they don't allow unauthorized distribution of software.
