That's literally just how the game works
I feel like having this kind of toxic and salty behavior is never gonna get these kinds of streamers the popularity or a name for themselves. If you manage to have a good time and have fun with what you do then people might like you more :) But anyways amazing content my dude!
You'd be surprised, there was a really popular dbd streamer for a while who's content was just being a toxic ass with her friends. Idk if she's still active anymore or moved onto other shit.
The way you react and compliment someone else's plays is such chad energy, i love this. I dont like how people are complaining sbout how dead by daylight is an intense game, when it is in the thriller category of games. I get it, its intense and you gotta sweat one out, but with this kind of game, what do you expect? In reality, this is a life or death situation, its supposed to be intense.
As someone who has been playing dbd for five years I pretty fairly understand both sides. Getting tunneled one of the worst things that happens to me regularly. Saw a comment saying why do survivors think they can sit on a gen for however long and we can't tunnel? Something along those lines. When the killer does tunnel, it literally allows those other individuals to get progress done if they notice it. Some people have different definitions of tunneling. How I see tunneling is that after they hooked a survivor, they continuously go after said survivor until they are dead. No matter who is around, that same survivor get targeted. Now if they deserve such treatment, I understand. Though for no reason majority of the time?
@ADDOppositionalConduct I did say unless they deserve it. To apply that to everyone, regardless if they're toxic or not, would discourage newer players.
I’ll never understand the survivor mindset, like you have the opportunity to down an injured survivor or go chase a full health one… like they really expect you to go the hard path cause of some made up moral code lmao
Every survivor main is like that it's hilarious. You never hear use crying about bs flashlight saves / no grabbing survivors in unhook animation / flashlights in general / and distortion
You will when you replace the word "survivor" with "woke crybaby". Then you'll want to slap yourself for not seeing the 1:1 correlation with all their beliefs, all the little rainbow flag stickers, all the lispy passive-aggressive rats, toxic this toxic that... It's like that with most killer streamers of this game too. Complete wet noodles all of them. It's "Salty salty salty haha look at this salty guy" until the salty guy insults them once and they break down with "W-well your insult was bad!" - so weak they can't even make their own comebacks, so they pretend they're just so "above it all". Does this behavior not ring a bell to anyone? Of course it does, don't you lie to me.
I made the comparation to a todler can understand ir (survivors main) "And so, if the killer kicks a 99 gen, you go for a new one or the one thare is almost done?"
They want you to go chase someone else, while they run to a gen that you really don't need them popping expecting you to just be cool with that, lmao. I had someone invite me to a party 50 times because he was salty, lol. Had another person send me an invite after I won, I answered and she began to call me a salty Killer, who's mad that's why I tunneled her. I tried to explain that with the map being so dark, I was lucky that I found anyone, so if i tunneled it wasnt intentionally done. She still call me salty and mad, even though I killed them all on hook and won by having more points, lmao. I asked her to explain to me how I didn't know how to play the game even though i got more points and killed them all, and she couldn't, lol. I said, go find a video right now and tell me, that knight doesnt play how I just played you. I received all 4 iridescents, but I dont know how to play the game with Knight.
Imo it depends. I mainly play survivor but I also play killer. Idrc ab tunneling if you’re at like two gens to end game and no kills or hooks then yeah, tunnel. But tunneling at 5 gens is crazy to me ( saying this as like an example if ykwim )
Nah, the players who experience tunneling often are new and are killed quickly, they just want to last longer in the match, if they get killed at the endgame it's all fair.
Imagine being so tilted by a videogame that you see making fun or being toxic on a person who just wants to play on killer side like a huge award or proof that you can't be touched Like they think the game is called "Torture a Killer: the Game (you're superior)"
It's a shame streamers like this make me not wanna play dbd and reason why Dbd community getting so toxic my opinion but thank you good sir seeing your set up for Knight Makes me wanna try it and gives me thoughts on a interesting build I need to try now 🤦♂️😂😂😂
Ok I'm very new to DBD, but being taught by a day 1 player, when he explained to me about "etiquette" and not tunnelling etc etc, my instant response was "then what's the point? If that's the best way to narrow down your chances, taking the weakest links out one by one why the f wouldn't you just because they get salty?" It's absolutely ludacrous to me that people get so upset that someone is playing a PvP game to win...... Just play solo campaigns if it's that rough. Don't get it.
My exact response too! And for me it was a salty streamer who's mod paid bits to have him teabag my gf because she tunnelled. I didn't know what tunnelling was but when I learned I was like "so the optimal play then?". At this point I'd had the game 24 hours and my gf had played like 2 games, she killed this streamers mod and 1 other and the streamer teabagged her. He had been playing for years and had she known about borrowed time, or survivors spinning and blocking etc she would have got a 4k but we were brand new. And so they should be ashamed she killed 2 of you! And you wanna impose your made up rules on a totally noob... If you have to dictate how a genuinely new player plays to be able to win I think that's on you, not the killer
DBD “etiquette” is literally meaningless and only exists so survivor main streamers who are bad can win more, just do whatever you want and turn off DMs if salty messages are a bad thing for you
5:14 I remember during that Event, I’d play as Deathslinger and bring Add-ons for reduced missed shot cooldowns. And I’d shoot every snowman I saw, the amount of downs I’d get because of this action was sad

thats crazy, i havent watched him in years ever since I stopped playing dbd, never thought id see him in a video claiming tunneling. Thats crazy, I knew I recognized the voice and the stream overlay
12:24 I'm a killer main and I always end up finding the person who got unhooked. I've never found the person who unhooked unless I'm directly near it. Thats a skill issue. Also I just got Knight so thanks for the ideas of how to use him
"Got to sweat unless they add a casual mode". Lol i had a game last night as ghostface where they were trying pretty hard so i returned the favor. Had 9 hooks at 3 gens, 2 people were dead. After i hooked the 3rd survivor the 4th came up and offered me their item for the unhook. I let them, and then they asked to be hooked. I let their teammate save them and spent the rest of the match either staring at their flashlight, marking them, or trying to sneak my way into a gen grab. Legit just started goofing off after they became friendly. Yes i know many killers could drown a small village with their hurricane level sweatfests, but its just a game. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes you learn the event flashlight is indigo with golden filagree and looks like it has a tiny eye instead of a bulb.
absolute truth, as a former surv main, i say that playing killer is a fucking nightmare((((Especially when you don't play meta killers and meta builds.
And he says “I should really play killer so I understand what they do, their abilities.. like is he just running bbq and nurses calling? How does he know” as he plays against probably the highest pressure killer. No shit you’re gonna have a bad time if you only play 1/2 of the game lmaooo

Aye it seems pointless to me, but like I said in the video he wasn't rude or disrespectful towards me at all so I guess just frustration at the game is all it was.
I like how they think that. "I'm going to dc so he get no points. ".🤡 "Thanks you making killing the rest even easier. "😂 They should realize it affects the survivors the most. I had a game where I relied on full hex build. I lost 1 hex and I knew it was gone be a rough game but I down a fl survivor 4 secs into shack loop and he dc'd which made me happy and collected that win.
You are one of the most mature players I’ve seen on this game and your reaction was one of the kindest and understanding things , can tell your a good bloke !
I’ll be honest. I love knights gameplay. It’s SOOOOO damn fun. I played a match last night on this very map, had 3 gens literally within 100 feet of each other. I won’t lie, I put my patrol on a loop to all three, with 3 survivors left. The entire game they just lash light blinded on pickup and somehow constantly got out of my grasp fast and seemed like everyone of them ran bills perk for getting off ground. I just sat at the finally 3 gens and waited. Ended up killing 2 of the last 3 then walked to the giant tractor and spotted the last guy an caught him with my assassin.
Personally i find it better just to treat them like any other player, don't give them special treatment but at the same time don't intentionally go after them
I’m saving up for Dredge or Knight purely for looks, who is better in gameplay for both, they both look cool but I don’t want to be disappointed with one or the other
The consequences for disconnecting should be: - No negative effects for the one disconnecting - Benefits for the opposing side bigger than if they killed them/escaped That way, people will be dissuaded from ragequitting, since they won't steal away your victory by doing so, while if you HAVE to go or are in toxic situation and want to leave, you won't be punished for that.
Wouldn't that just encourage people to he more toxic to get the otherside to rage quit? That would encourage survivors to swf and bully bad killers and killers to camp and tunnel at 5 gens.
@@Williamwillow_ It'd still be better than the current "If you disconnect, you can't play for a while". People aren't toxic because they want more points in a game, people are toxic because they want to annoy other people for their own amusement. Take away the punishment for quitting games where opposing side is toxic, and they will quickly find themselves unable to bully others for longer than 2 minutes per match- and they'll be bored. As opposed to the current situation, where killers playing against toxic survivors might be blocked from joining a new game if they don't endure bullying till survivors escape- and since they wanna bully, not escape, that ain't happening anytime soon. So basically: + a ton of toxic bullies find the game boring and leave - some tryhards will try to be toxic in order to get highscore I think that's a good tradeoff
I think it’d be better to have bonus points given to the same side (which would just be survivors), because now you’re playing with a typically less skilled player.
this is definitely not tunneling I play survivor and killer and I main the knight for killer and this is just literally how your supposed to use his power they literally are called guards for a reason lol i hate survivors like this they think your supposed to follow their rules so they can win
I’m a doctor main and I got death threats from a swf squad because I was using the merciless storm gen hate build 😂 people get so triggered when people use what they want to we don’t whine about flashlights brand new part and made for this at all
I liked your little blurb at the end kind of giving him the benefit of the doubt. Because honestly, while he was a bit entitled, most of his complaining was the same kind most of us do when we get beat by something we don’t fully understand and just assuming something unfair is happening.
To this day, I still don't understand why survivors keep using the word "tunneling" as if targeting the easiest one to kill is not what the killer is supposed to do.
It always funny to see what survivors think when you play killer. You run around randomly find someone, they wonder how you knew they were there. It's always funny when the surv runs into the killer to dead hard and the killer confused by the FOV tech doesn't swing. Survivor: "HE WAITED OUT DEAD HARD" XD Not meant all that seriously. You can't really tell what the other person is thinking and you don't have to be happy with what they do. Just play the game, try to have fun and move onto the next one. Maybe next match will be better ^^
I know nothing about DBD, maybe just a few terms and things here and there, and played it once, but even I can see this was fair gameplay. You didnt unnecessarily target him, you were just doing your job as killer and he was just a piss poor player who was salty, even if you were being a tunneler its not like he didnt start out being toxic with the random t-bag. The entitlement people get once they start streaming for their ego is insane. Its doubled when they're not even that good at whatever game they're playing but think they are lol
Survivor: How can he see me? 😮 Perks: Allow us to introduce ourself 😏 This dude is seriously a crybaby. By the time he get's hooked a 3rd time it would've been the 7th or 8th hook in the entire match. Just the easy excuse to blame a Killer for playing toxic and that after he t-bagged, became more aggressive towards you the longer the game went and ultimately the DC.
If there is ever a DBD movie or something similar I hope they put a scene in there where one of the survivors gets downed and states; 'I'm not givin' him the kill boys,' and just offs himself in a cornfield in front of the killer.
It's amazing to me how Gen rushing is ok but tunneling at 5 gens isn't. It's a good way to counter get survivors out and secure atleast a draw. Killers don't need to play by survivors entitled rulebook
I’ll never forget this one game I play killer on higher sensitivity and a ttv came behind me beginning of game when I downed someone on pallet instantly turned and downed them when I picked up (they were broken) and they instantly left 🤣
I understand both perspectives I think. I agree with the other streamer, some casual players just want to have a fun match and relying on tunnelling/camping is unfun for every party involved, including the killer. I don't think that's entitled, I think it's just trying to make the experience better for everyone. I also think in some cases it could be seen as tunnelling when it isn't, like in this video. I personally never pay attention who's been hooked or not, I just see people and chase them. I try to avoid the person who's just been unhooked but if the same survivor just decides to cross paths with me multiple times and I'm not chasing anyone, what can you expect. Good survivors know how to escape more easily.
@@shaboingboing799 Sure. But is it fun to win by standing completely still in front of a hook or is it more fun to engage in chases and seek survivors out?

I'm a survivor main and didn't see one bit of a tunnel. Maybe he thinks the killer returning to a hook rescue is tunneling. He seems a bit new and very confused about common perks.
tbh bro. As a killer your job is to kill the survivors. theres no rulebook on HOW to kill the survivors as well as vice versa. Survivors main goal is to do the generators and escape. it is COMPLETELY the survivors fault if they get caught during chase, granted the killer isn't using a game breaking glitch. The same as the killers fault for LOSING the chase or chasing too long to get gen rushed. he just got outplayed, thats all there is to it

@@UndyingZombie For sure, I’ve played a few games of killer myself and it’s definitely been an eye opener! I don’t have all the killers though, so gameplays like these help with that 😄

playing against knight isn't fun; but i %100 agree with play-how-you-want and play-who-you-want
As a knight main as well I just like the additional pressure where another survivor is occupied by the minion while I’m chasing other survivor. Having 2 people off gens is nice. Fun to play against as well.

This knight played fair and people should honestly learn from them
Survivors are more toxic than the killer.. Even though there are killers that're toxic, but survivors are a different story
@ADDOppositionalConduct I did say unless they deserve it. To apply that to everyone, regardless if they're toxic or not, would discourage newer players.

Every survivor main is like that it's hilarious. You never hear use crying about bs flashlight saves / no grabbing survivors in unhook animation / flashlights in general / and distortion
@@Sway1177don't know what you're smoking but killers bitch about all of those all the time. Both sides bitch and moan about everything.

Ah I am a total moron it seems, I was extremely confused at the time 😂
It's weird when people think tunneling is boring. They prefer to just sit on gens whole game?
@@bri2689 That happen a lot these days. Some killers eliminate a first survivor early in the trial and play chill after.
and what about the people who aren’t being tunneled? now they have to sit on gens for 5 minutes while someone gets tunneled?

On one hand, you did not tunnel, he is pretty entitled, he clearly isn’t playing the right game if he wants a casual one. On the other hand, KNIGHT

I like how they think that.
"I'm going to dc so he get no points. ".🤡

They should realize it affects the survivors the most.
3:32 actually, survivors get a speed boost and endurance when they grab the standard/flag, so that wasn't necessarily lithe
Streamer when you have to be good at the game to win 😱
Buddy Tbagged at the first hit he received. He cannot complain about tunneling lol
As a killer, if you have TTV at the end of your name, I'm going to make certain you have a bad time.
Good gameplay, by the way.
Personally i find it better just to treat them like any other player, don't give them special treatment but at the same time don't intentionally go after them
I’m saving up for Dredge or Knight purely for looks, who is better in gameplay for both, they both look cool but I don’t want to be disappointed with one or the other
Power dredge looks knight
They need to buff knights guards system so that survivors cant just go right through guard and easily escape
Tunneling is both a valid strategy and not what was happening in the video lol
The consequences for disconnecting should be:
- No negative effects for the one disconnecting
- Benefits for the opposing side bigger than if they killed them/escaped
That way, people will be dissuaded from ragequitting, since they won't steal away your victory by doing so, while if you HAVE to go or are in toxic situation and want to leave, you won't be punished for that.
Wouldn't that just encourage people to he more toxic to get the otherside to rage quit? That would encourage survivors to swf and bully bad killers and killers to camp and tunnel at 5 gens.
@@Williamwillow_
It'd still be better than the current "If you disconnect, you can't play for a while".
So basically:
+ a ton of toxic bullies find the game boring and leave
- some tryhards will try to be toxic in order to get highscore
I think that's a good tradeoff
I think it’d be better to have bonus points given to the same side (which would just be survivors), because now you’re playing with a typically less skilled player.
killer mains are usually calm just enjoying the game survivor mains are the most egotistic and shitty talkers after losing a match
this is definitely not tunneling I play survivor and killer and I main the knight for killer and this is just literally how your supposed to use his power they literally are called guards for a reason lol i hate survivors like this they think your supposed to follow their rules so they can win
as a freddy main i love it when survivors rage quit. there salty tears fuel me
Hey I dont play dbd and just watch videos but I wanna ask if you find freddy fun to play, because a lot of people say he isnt fun
I’m a doctor main and I got death threats from a swf squad because I was using the merciless storm gen hate build 😂 people get so triggered when people use what they want to we don’t whine about flashlights brand new part and made for this at all
Nobody should get death threats ever....let alone on a video game
I liked your little blurb at the end kind of giving him the benefit of the doubt. Because honestly, while he was a bit entitled, most of his complaining was the same kind most of us do when we get beat by something we don’t fully understand and just assuming something unfair is happening.
To this day, I still don't understand why survivors keep using the word "tunneling" as if targeting the easiest one to kill is not what the killer is supposed to do.
*Runs infront of killer*
"HOW DOES HE KNOW WHERE I AM!?"
It always funny to see what survivors think when you play killer. You run around randomly find someone, they wonder how you knew they were there.
It's always funny when the surv runs into the killer to dead hard and the killer confused by the FOV tech doesn't swing. Survivor: "HE WAITED OUT DEAD HARD" XD
Not meant all that seriously.
Perks: Allow us to introduce ourself 😏
This dude is seriously a crybaby. By the time he get's hooked a 3rd time it would've been the 7th or 8th hook in the entire match. Just the easy excuse to blame a Killer for playing toxic and that after he t-bagged, became more aggressive towards you the longer the game went and ultimately the DC.
I’m glad that you know knight is sort of hard to play against and those need tweaking instead of those who says skill issue
Tunneling is a normal way to play. The the point of killer is to stop and kill the survivors. Tunneling makes it simpler.
“How does he know where I am??” MY RANDOM BROTHER IN CHRIST YOU LOOK LIKE YOU WERE DIPPER IN A VAT OF MOLTEN CRAYON IN A FALOUT GAME
imagine being so mad you can’t even let my man get the kill
Good survivors know how to escape more easily.
but it is a good strategy to farm points
@@0_h1t3 Yea but I don't see much of a point in farming..points. When you could just play normally, have a lot more fun, and still earn points.

The same as the killers fault for LOSING the chase or chasing too long to get gen rushed. he just got outplayed, thats all there is to it
"How does he NOWWWWWW?!" i could hear bros rotten teach beg for a brush.
