      There are many tests that you could do, but they might not be accurate or necessary depending on what stage you're at. If you want a more in-depth answer, I suggest you call our office at 626-571-1234 for a free initial consultation so we can truly decide what is the best test depending on your condition. www.drlamcoaching.com/adrenal-fatigue/testing/laboratory-testing-for-adrenal-fatigue-syndrome/

    Dr. Lam, I have been having insomnia for 3 weeks. I had a stressful moment but no longer have it anymore, but I’m still having insomnia. Can’t fall asleep and so I’ve had to get on sleep med. I now get a bit anxious about going to bed and not getting to sleep. What can I do? Can I take the slow release melatonin? I have changed my diet, and began walking 30 minutes a day before noon. Thinking positive and relaxing.

      Melatonin can be a natural to get your circadian rhythm regularized, but always ask your doctor before starting a supplement.

    My adrenal glands are probably on life support after being married to a pathological narcissist. I should probably get my levels checked soon.

      Stressful relationships can impact adrenal health. Prioritize self-care and consider lifestyle adjustments.

    How come nobody mentions fluttering palpitations

    • @drlam
      @drlam  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Fluttering palpitations can also be a symptom of adrenal fatigue, often due to hormonal imbalances or stress.

    I’m watching this because I can’t find any information on the internet. I have these rare moments where my heart beats so hard it literally disables me for a few minutes and it hurts a lot. It only happens very rarely. I have to be almost terrified. The pain is in the middle of my chest. When it happens I Hafe to stop what I’m doing and clench my chest. With every thud of my heart there is pain. It’s like someone’s squeezing my heart every time it beats. And I tremble every beat. It’s such a weird and scary experience. It only lasts for a few minutes and I have no other symptoms so I’m not sure what it is. It’s hard for me to explain but I really want to know what’s going on and have found no luck. Most ppl tell me it’s a panic attack but does it hurt with every beat when u have a panic attack? And y is there no other symptoms? I’m scared because as I said before when it happens it’s disabling. It has happened twice now while driving because the police started following me. It’s so bad I Hafe to pull over or I may crash and it’s becoming a big concern for me now. If anyone can tell me what is happing please help. Thank you so much

      That is definitely very scary, but you should definitely get checked up first to make sure you're not having any cardiac problems.

    Hello Dr Lam
    I’ve been told I have adrenal fatigue, maybe acute. I’ve been Having tachycardia furring sleep and it wakes me up. It sometimes happens during the day. Can adrenal fatigue cause this? Please let me know what I should do?

    • @drlam
      @drlam  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes adrenal fatigue is just one of the causes, you have to get down to the root problem. "The Autonomic Nervous System and Adrenal Response

      @@drlam Dr Lam - thank you so much for this link. It describes what I’ve been experiencing over the last 4 weeks. It seemed to come out of nowhere. Not sure if you’ll see this, but just curious if hypothyroidism, perimenopause and/or gallstones (poor liver function) can exacerbate adrenal fatigue?
