We came back the next day and we found the 3/8" diameter pipe almost completely empty, the 1/2" diameter pipe with a slight loss of pressure along with a slight loss of pressure at the condensing unit. It's time for a new unit! Stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️

Great job! We use Isolation like you did on difficult leaks . We normally use testo probes that read in tenths of a pound. These enable us to normally find the leaking section within 15 to 20 minuets.

Idk about 410a but you can solder as long as its staysil8. Also the pipe turns green from oxidation. Like the statue of liberty. It advances because techs dont wipe off the flux with a dry rag.
Do you mean StayBrite8? I've never used that before. That is true about oxidation and the statue of liberty! Definitely need to wipe off any remaining Flux. As far as this install, it looks like someone's uncle installed it 😂 Thanks for watching!

I have done this before too, only I definitely still do nitrogen purges. That’s where a 50’ nitrogen hose comes in handy

I use flare adapters and fitting to isolate line set vs the condenser
There’s actually a gas that emits from the boards in server rooms that erodes evap coils in server rooms evaps are my first check

What ya do ya mean having soldered joins in r410a is a problem?
You should never solder refrigerant piping. Especially 410a being a high pressure refrigerant. Always braze your connections💯
Solder is for water piping
How come you didn't just close the service valves on the condenser instead of cutting the lines?
Was thinking same thing. To much time an money on fittings
