I got this and LOVE IT! Right after I bought this one on AMazon, I found another one, barely used, at a thrift store. Clearly, whoever donated it never gave it a chance so now I have 2. I breed dogs and have about 8 dogs in my house right now, including puppies. These mops are a life saver to me. Also, when you order more refill pads, you will get pads with the 3 tab holders on both ends of the pad. The first ones I got were only tabbed on one end and they stretched out pretty quickly because I didn't mount it properly bu I know better now. I just therw the pads and entire bucket into the wash machine because it needed a good soaking after all the cleaning I have been doing. My floors have never been so clean every day! I have gone through many mops in my 64 years but this is the first one I can say I LOVE!

Just got my mop. I rarely use a soapy solution in the bucket, but rather squirt it from a spray bottle onto the floor. That makes the wet chamber serve as the rinse water, and the dry section be just for wringing. Clever of you to use yours in the shower. I will be trying that.

Hi and I'm new to you channel. I just brought the Joymoop from Amazon for my new apartment, and I wanted to check out some reviews on the product...so far so good on some of the reviews on this lovely system. I can't wait to use it. Thanks for sharing, and you have a new sub. ❤
going to try it. I bought the spin mop system it wasn't good handle broke after a couple time using it. I have a mop bucket with a place you can ring out the mop which is good.
I really like this mop. I personally like flat mops and like this size and feel of this one. The spin mop did a great job when I bacteria tested it and it was amazing when I was using it to clean up construction debris as well. But I just really like flat mops! Thanks for watching!
I use the BONA mop system and like you I take off the flat mop head and hand rinse in the sink so i always have clean cleaning water. It is a pain and that is why I googled this mop. I sort of like this product but I think I will still rinse the mop in the sink and use the dry chamber to dry. This way the soap water stays clean. By the way I am a 76 year old lady and have used MANY (yes, many) mopping "systems." Thanks for the review. EDIT: I forgot to mention that you have the best review for the mop. But also, I read from other comments that they wished the bucket had wheels. I disagree. The wheels would make the bucket top heavy, easier to spill over. I do have an older wring bucket with an old fashion mop. It does have wheels and it is quite stable, but the design is much different than the Google or whatever it is called ❤
No more than using a traditional mop, actually probably less because it scrapes off the dirt when you put it into the drying chamber. Thanks for watching!
I really wanted to like these kind of mops but the shaft was so weak and the mop cover got stuck in the bucket when wringing it out so I ended up giving it away. Boiught a Thomas vacuum cleaner instead which mops, vacuums, is bagless and is a textile cleaner aswell.
I was thinking about buying it, but I saw in the comments that people are talking about the negative point of not having a third chamber, not sure that's a problem tho, I thought I could use the dry side to let out the dirty water, although now I understand, it should have another chamber to dry it
We all agree that it would be nice to have another reservoir, but the effectiveness of this product is really determined by how filthy our floors are. In a perfect world, I imagine me cleaning my floors quickly before going to bed each night. Floors wouldn't be too dirty if they were cleaned that often. So, my dirty water wouldn't be all that dirty. Problem solved! 😊
I like this idea but I think it's gross spreading the dirt and germs back onto the floor. I'll wait til they make a third clean water chamber so that you don't have to dump the dirty water and refill every 10 minutes.
@Christine112359 I see this as traditional mopping, and I haven't used a flat mop system like this before. A third chamber is an interesting idea! I will make sure JoyMoop rep I am in contact with has that feedback! Thanks for watching!
@bellababooska4181 To me this is similar to traditional mopping but with a flat mop instead of a string mop. I personally like flat mops but hated wringing it out with my hands all the time, so for me this is great. I have my Bissel crosswave (have bacteria testing videos about that too) that I LOVE but find it cumbersome to clean out all time so I just use that in my bathrooms. Thanks for watching!
@jimmyhernandez6516 that is most certainly one way to do it! I like flat mops, so for me this was a welcome change to wringing out the mop head with my hands. There are so many ways to clean floors! For my channel I try to stick to one way at a time when I am conducting bacteria testing, but on occasion I will use multiple products as well. Thanks for watching. I’m very happy with the cleaning system on this map but I am 5’10” and I wish they would make extensions for mop handles. With lower back problems it’s really a struggle.
How do you keep the fabric on the bottom when trying to put it into the water and wring it out? Everytime I try it always bunches up so I can't ever use it with the top...
I hook the mop head on with the 3 tabs, then roll it and stick it to the mop head. I haven't had any bunching problems and I use it all the time. I wonder if your mop head isn't firmly attached to the tabs.
It looks great but I just can’t keep dipping my mop into dirty water to clean a dirty floor. I will stick to my double chamber O’Cedar Spin mop system.
I did use only water just as I was testing the mechanics of this mop. I have other videos where I test various cleaners with this Joy Moop Mop. Thanks for watching! oh I am sorry about that. Is it snapped on? Mine makes a snap or click when it is attached. If yours isn't clicking down then yes it might be defective. sorry about that!
I don't like cleaning but this is nice. Pluses - It catches the pet hair, cleaner to use than a mop, squeegee of the pads is easy, small where you can drag the bucket around. I would like it better if the pads were a little bigger than the head to clean edges, and not be slamming the head into the baseboard (and the dog goes hiding). I have textured floors so it has a bit of grab to it - so you need a bit of strength. On it's own, with the 5" wide head, I can't do tight places around the fridge or washer/dryer. But the pluses outweigh the limitations.
I have one similar to this. Mine has 3 compartments, clean water, dirty water and then in the middle is where the clean water goes in and you dip the mop in. There is a knob you turn to add the clean water in to that compartment. The bucket is to small in my opinion. Also when you put the clean water in it only fills half way so you have to do one side of the mop, flip it to do the other side. I give it a Meh🤷♀️
My concern is about mops transferring dirty water back into the clean water section after wringing. Ideally, mopping should involve wetting the mop with clean, soapy water, cleaning the floor, and then wringing the dirty mop into a separate, dirty water section to prevent contamination of the clean water. The process should minimize the mixing of clean and dirty water, maintaining the efficacy of the cleaning solution and reducing the spread of dirt. From what I see here, wringing the dirty, used mop puts about 75% or more of the dirty water back into the clean water section. Is this true?
I agree that most mop systems do have some level of dirty water back in the mix of the clean water and this one does as well. This video was a review of a product and not a demonstration on the best way to mop. This product states that it does not have a separate rinsing chamber but rather a squeeze chamber to wring out the mop head. There are no claims that it is separating dirty and clean water. I haven't found a mop system where you will NEVER get any of the dirty mop on the next section of flooring except for disposable mop pads. You are correct to prevent dirty mop or water from touching the next floor spot you need additional steps. One could: 1) dip into the clean water/soap, mop, then take the mop head and rinse in a sink thoroughly, then dip into the clean water/soap.. and repeat. 2) use a new mop head with each new mopping section. 3) You could have two mopping buckets, it could be two JoyMoops, two OCedars, or two traditional mop buckets where you dip in soapy water, mop, then rinse in the second bucket to remove some of the dirt, then dip into the soapy water. 4) use disposable mop pads I would consider purchasing a second JoyMoop to be used as a "cleaning" chamber because it does a great job at scraping and squeezing the liquid out of the mop head. Or perhaps someday they will come out with a 3 chamber system. For me, personally, for my home I am ok with mopping with this product. If I were cleaning a biology clean room, then I would want an additional rinsing step in between.
Thanks! I was going to ask if you came across another product that you felt was better, but it seems like they all have this flaw. This Joymoop seems so close to accomplishing this. Just stop that water from dripping into the clean section. Couldn't they just drain the water differently so it doesn't go into the clean section?? Seems obvious to me. I suppose it's way better than the one bucket system we all used years ago. Thanks again! @@FieldOfFocus
I agree with peta - it's 2024, technology has advanced to the point where no one should be designing or manufacturing a mop system that DOESN'T offer a separate clean water/dirty water chamber separation. Appreciate the extensiveness of this video, but I won't be buying this mop for this reason.
I agree. If they had just flipped the dry section 180 degrees so the bottom of the pad faced away from the clean water and angled down, it was be much better. I hope the design team sees this comment and adjusts their product accordingly. #joymoop #designflaw #makeitbetter

I haven't found a mop system where you will NEVER get any of the dirty mop on the next section of flooring except for disposable mop pads. You are correct to prevent dirty mop or water from touching the next floor spot you need additional steps. One could:
1) dip into the clean water/soap, mop, then take the mop head and rinse in a sink thoroughly, then dip into the clean water/soap..
4) use disposable mop pads
I would consider purchasing a second JoyMoop to be used as a "cleaning" chamber because it does a great job at scraping and squeezing the liquid out of the mop head.

I love the idea of this one, but I'll stick with my flat mop system that does have a separate chamber for clean water and dirty water..
Can you share with me what is the brand of mop that has a separate chamber for clean water and dirty water? THANK YOU!

Ok. Thanks for that. It is true they had no control over the video and did not see the video until it went live on my channel. Thank you.
If you have a clean apartment and you do WEEKLY CLEANING AND MOPPING, then that will work !! If you have a disgusting house, then its USELESS. I just want to show off /ACT
Thanks for watching!
Piece of crap, the dirty water drains in the clean water when you use the drying side
Do you know of a mop system that completely separates dirty and clean water? I would love to test it. I tested the cedar Spin mop too but the dirty water mixed too.
