This channel made me fall in love with mountain biking. I first came across Mahalo My Dude over Covid lockdowns and started biking everyday. Y'all, Kaz, Ollie, Andrew, Hailey, and all the other folks shined a light on the joy of getting in the woods with some friends and taught that it's hard to have a bad day on a bike. I'm in the same boat as you guys though, change happens and it happens fast. When I first watched you guys 10 years ago I was married without kids and had tons of time to myself. Now I have 5 kids and go biking with the oldest 3. My life is so great and I'm thriving but it's way different than 10 years ago. That video started my journey and I come back to it periodically to see, how far in the journey I am, because so far it's spot on (apart from the "lawns" part 😂). Mahalo's videos, specifically the Moab TWE and Whistler Creekside vids showed me a whole other world I was missing. I took the leap, quit my job and moved halfway around the world to ride bikes and explore North America for the past 8 months. Embrace the unknown, the new, take the leap, know that there will be good days and off days but you'll find your way. MMD!

Out of all the goodbye videos ive seen over the years this is the best, no hate to anyone thats ever made one thats just talking to the camera, cause sometimes it's called for, but having it interweaved with riding made it sting less i think. Well, end of a HUGE ERA boys. Those guys were part of my childhood and my friend's as well. I will never ever forget your video "How to be a mountain biker" and all of your cool songs that I still listen to on the chair lift. It kinda hurts but where the trails ends a friend awaits for another run !!!!!!!

Out of all the goodbye videos ive seen over the years this is the best, no hate to anyone thats ever made one thats just talking to the camera, cause sometimes it's called for, but having it interweaved with riding made it sting less i think. You'll be missed Jason, but it was great to see you shred officially on the channel one last time 🤙🏻

This channel did a lot to bridge the first Covid year for me, working from home full time during lockdowns and such. Got me super interested in Mountainbiking, so I bought one and immediately sold it to get a road bike, lmao.
