The analaysis is very good. The same level of growth may not hold true in the furture with the same Cos. Here our efforts must be to identify and filter out these kind of stocks which are true future performers including prominent sectors like Renewbale / Auto / Data centre / Telecom / Pharma / IT

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Sir,aapne sahi bilkul sahi kaha hai, large cap apne portfolio me shamil karke beshak ham khush hote rahe par wo jyada return nahi dete. Lekin sir jab market girti his tobye share jyada nahi girte. Dusri taraf mid cap market ke girne pe jyada tezi se girte hain.isliye portfolio balanced hona chahiye. Tab market gire to achche mid cap ke identify kijiye aur large cap bech ke mid cap le ligiye. Mai to yahi strategy apnata hun.

Sirji, its a known fact. Multibagger happens only when a small cap becomes mid cap and a mid cap becomes large cap.
Ultimately, identifying such stocks are only thing that matters and that is not easy.

In my opinion TCS is the best performer it added 3lakh crore in last 3 years to its market cap. More than HAL's entire market capitalization
Would be good to see the earnings growth for all these stocks as well and also the PE. There has been a massive re rating of PE for midcaps and small caps the point is to be seen is that is that earnings is sustainable or is it the case of dumb SIP money chasing these stocks. Bottom line message is that one could look at index investing as an alternative to direct stock investing …

Dear Raghav ji. It will be interesting if you can pull out the list of Nifty 100 stocks or Nifty 50 stocks from 3 years ago and analyse their performance. That will truly reflect the compounding potential of large caps.
Similar exercise done with Midcaps and small caps (top 250 smallcaps) will seal the debate forever.
Simialar exercise can be done for longer periods as well like finding Nifty 100 stocks from 5 years back and analysing their 5 year CAGR

Appreciate your effort. One thing I learnt is pick good large mid cap stocks with good growth and accumulate at every dip and wait for them to become large and exit to find next set mid cap stocks. Meanwhile take good advice and analyze small cap stocks for them to become midcaps...
