I once mixed walking and reading. Did the 30 km march in the military while reading a book, one of the sagaen om isfolket by Margit Sandemo.

Thats a great idea. I use to listen to podcasts when walking. Not so much books yet. Sounds like it is worth to try it.

I appreciate the advice to read more slowly and thoughtfully. I sometimes get caught up in thr tension or action and speed read to get to the resolution of the tension, which can make me miss details or other cool aspects of the writing. I find audiobooks really help me with this - they force me to listen to every word! I also have found audiobooks as a great way for me to get through more and longer books. I can listen to an audiobook when walking the sog, doing chores, and other random tasks, which adds a lot of extra reading time during the day.
Also, I really like the idea of the reading diet! Thank you for that.

Thanks for your comment. I am happy you appreciated it. And thank you for your advice on audiobooks. I have not tried that so much. Sounds like it is worth to give it a try.

@thenostalgicdragon Over the years, I've come to love audiobooks more and more. But it really depends on the narrator for me. When you find a great narrator, it can add much more life to a story and its characters. I know audiobooks are not for everyone, but I definitely recommend giving them a try.

start on page one , use a bookmark if you need to , don't stay up all night even if it's a page turner when you have to get up in the morning.
    You're welcome.

When you have time to that I think the reading experience becomes better. Especially with Malazan.
