In this video, I show you how to fix a portable blender juicer that wouldn't blend. Although the indicator light turned on and the battery seemed to be charging, the blades weren't working.
I opened up the blender and discovered a disconnected cable from the motor. This was a simple fix - I just needed to resolder the wire. The challenge was that the wire was thick, and my 60 watt soldering iron wasn't powerful enough. So, I switched to my 100 watt iron and was able to create a good solder joint.
After putting everything back together, I tested the blender and it worked perfectly! I blended some water with no leaks, and then even managed to blend a green chili (except for the stem). If your portable blender isn't working, check the wires for disconnected connections - it might be an easier fix than you think!
