  • Timelapse of me working on some of the level art for the game.
A lot of alpha cards - trying out a new technique where I paint an a tree and then just map it onto an alpha card.

Love the mist/fog and the VFX you have done for this scene, I would love to see a breakdown of that! :d

Awesome. Really awesome… I love your style and i thank youtube algorithm for sharing your channel with me. I’ve watched some videos and man… You got it. I know your games will do well just by looking at them.. The composition, smoothness, gameplay.. all looks great and in the right place lce. One of the few indie games I want to play..
    Congrats!
P.S: Thanks for sharing your favourite artists as a software developer learning blender, modelling, sculpting.. it’s inspiring

It looks awesome. I played the demo. It was cool but I ran into a wall and couldn’t go any further. Not sure if the wall signals the end of the demo or not, but I am looking forward to playing the game once it releases.

Thanks for checking out the demo, Not sure which wall you're stuck on. I have a playthrough of the demo on the channel if you need as walkthrough of how to get past that.

I always love seeing the "how it's made" of anything but seeing how games are made is especially awesome. Keep up the great work.

I Iove your art, how long did this take to do just this one scene? A lot of care and attention to detail

This scene, like half a day to put the scene together. Each asset, like the trees I spent maybe 3 hours on, Grass reused from previous level, ferns took like an hour, rocks took like 2-3 hours.

@@officialgrimwaregamesllc yeah that's quite a bit of time.

@@mattb8075 its way faster than I used to be and way faster than like AAA pipeline, well depends on if you're using scanned assets. But on CoD: Advanced warfare during crunch we'd get like 5-7 days to make a helicopter from scratch and no concept.
