Bought a 2023 Nightster today. The loudest thing on it is probably the primary gears. This exhaust sounds great, I bet it sounds even better under acceleration.
Sounds incredible AND doesn't break the bank like some of the other systems! Will it require a tune though since it appears to delete the cat and it's a different piping configuration?
This exhaust is amazing, I just got it installed today. It has a huge tip/end variety, ONLY BAD THING. The right foot peg is covered by the exhaust.. Meaning your leg is resting on the exhaust fighting for any foot peg… Nighster does have 1-2 options for longer foot pegs but add another $150-200 to the bill. Also yes, the Nighster special rear seat pegs have to come off for this. But this exhaust makes your Nighster actually sound like a Harley not a lawn-mower so to me it’s worth the pains… (It definitely sounds louder in person, Video does some justice but not fully)
I purchased this exhaust and wasn’t aware of this issue. This seems like a bad design flaw to me. I hope someone soon comes out with the bracket for the rear peg and extenders for the right front peg
@@aaronchaffee1024So since this comment, Harley does have a Long Black foot peg that works. It’s about an inch longer or so than the stock so it gives just enough space to rest a good portion of your foot on. I had them installed. About $179.00. I’m 5’11 and only 10 1/2 size shoe and it’s pretty comfortable for me. Still no solution for rear passenger pegs.
I bought the independence perforated high for my 23 nightster. Sounds awesome, but can’t reach my back brake or right footpeg now. Said it fits my bike. Called the company and they said now that they are looking at it, it doesn’t make sense. They could’ve of easily tucked it in one more inch. Having to get peg extenders and still yet to find something to do about my brake pedal. Be aware of this
@@mrat_rrrjust installed these pipes and having the same issues. Need to extend the rear brake lever also. Did you install spacers to extend the brake lever out? Did the wrap help with the heat?
I saw on there site that it requires a rear peg delete.. Does this mean no passenger pegs can be added at all? Also any updates if the bike will require a re tune?
I too been asking around about this and no one seems to be saying anything. I have the 2024 Nightster Special and it has a 2nd O2 sensor on the slip on. I don’t think its good to leave it disconnected and dangling around as it may report a malfunction to the computer.
Is this hard to install? I also was told there arent any tunes for the nightster by my HD dealership and does it really matter if i tune it if i dont care about it running lean
@@hartshock4447 not bad. Wish I still had the bike. A lady ran a red light and t boned me in Dec and broke both my legs I’m still recovering to this day. Hopefully one day I’ll be back on a bike

If your engine is not messed with it is easily just a plug n play system! no tuning required!

The lower pipe burns your leg. Tomorrow I’m wrapping it. And the rear brake lever needs a lenghtening too.

Our systems are plug n play no tuning needed! As long as you do not mess with the engine itself.

Tuning is not required for our systems our systems are plug and play 😁👍
