I think your loyal viewers would love to have a live feed of post Thanksgiving dinner at the Sonne's . We could meet all the various characters Robbie, Jennifer, Tami etc. They could tell the stories we are longing to hear about Cole and a sight of him at the children's table would be gold.
Gotta miss Brian's "did I ever tell you".........They are always prime. Great to just hang out with you all and just see a day on the farm. Never really thought or saw what the reality is of a day on an active farm was like, so this is enjoyable to gain some knowledge at my age about how it all works..........never too old to learn and appreciate others work for the good of all. Gotta love it! Have a great Thanksgiving to you and the family. God bless and stay safe!!
Hi Cole hope you and your family family are doing good today.God bless you and your family today and always. I enjoy watching you and your Dad Brian and Ellie. The snow looks beautiful.
Ellie, good job telling Cole the calf was in the bin. btw Cole, Timmy was Lassie's owner who kept falling down the well, not Jimmy. We'll still give you credit though since you're kind of young to remember that far back.
I’ve just watched your video on how you started youtube . Just feel compelled to say you & your dad , stony ridge , and so on are the heart of AMERICA. Keep doing what your doing. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
Cole...it’s too cold for working on equipment...but Brian is right...you never heard about the time he quit! 😂. I’m glad it was nothing serious with the spreader. And....those danged cows need too much attention at times...😂😂😂...they just want to have fun too! Keep on keeping on and God Bless! ❤️
Where your load position verys constantly like the spreader, a pinto hitch setup works pretty good. Or if the hole in the spreader hitch is larger than the tractor drawbar consider a pipe bushing and graphite the crap on everything. Or with the longer hitch pin just graphite the bleep out of everything. Can you tell I love spray graphite?
Ya it definitely does help my yard used to be a cow pasture and since iv lived here my grass is always always green, kinda funny cuz my neighbors yards are either brown crispy or brown, green patchy so I'd say it helps, got to love cow manure 😆🤗
When I lived in loveland Colorado I counted 9 bald eagles at the lake in that town around this time 2 years ago the game wardens were stocking the pond so they loved it there it was an amazing sight to see!!!! God bless the USA
Love the content 👍👍!! You have gained 15,000 subs real quick. The 100,000 subscriber video wasn't to long ago. Keep it rolling Cole & Sausage digits Brian !!
Another great video Cole which you started by apologizing for yet ANOTHER crap spreading video (as if we would be bored!) - No chance, look how well it turned out and entertained us all!! - Never worry about boring us Cole you cannot do that! Great content and keep them coming - Thanks!!..
You would think as much as they cost, they would have a reverse on the spreader. Glad every thinking turned out ok. Thanks for sharing and have a nice safe day!!!
Hey Cole I just thought I would mention if you turn on the AC or the snowflake and turn the temperature over to the warm side (aka the red) it will clear up those windows in no time. I know that sounds dumb but it does work. I run a liquid poo wagon for a neighbor and he has a similar tractor and I do this every time I get into the tractor when its cold outside.
Great video c9le good thing there was no major damage to the manure spreader the manure was nice and dry last time I saw it spreaded nicely 👍 thumbs up and shared
Hey guys! I have to say, it's not very often you see the big fella without a hat, has he thrown them in the muckspreader as some kind of custom similar to that of the end of harvest? When the drawbar pin came out Cole your face said, 'Dad's gonna be furious', I hope you never got roasted too badly. It could have been a lot worse if that power shaft was lashing around and got smashed. Stay safe guys...hell it looks cold there. Dave
Good job sir Cole ! If you're feelin' insecure about your job, you could always become a movie maker. Oh sorry, already am you say How about a home chef video on a snowy day then ? Eh heh another excellent video, thanks Go America, Go Sonne Farms
I have one for you. Would your rather - Haul manure in the winter in a warm tractor or build fence on the hottest day of the year? I am hauling manure.
For the manure spreader lowrider issue when it's less than half full, and the weight is all in the back, how about a couple caster wheels, that wouldn't come in contact with the ground EXCEPT to prevent the back of the spreader frame from contacting the ground... like long RVs have? Mount them to the frame where it hit the ground at moment 11:18
Sorry about your " premature disconnection" problem. Since I've never had a problem with the equipment not being long enough, I can't really say I know how you feel.
You’re Dad is awesome! I agree, tagging the calf of a mean cow is a challenge and a good reminder to make sure you have life insurance! Speaking from experience...
On welkers channel they showed some thick nylon discs that went around the draw pin to take the bounce out of the hitch. Bryan didn't have much to say on camera when he saw his brand new spreader laying in feild with the toung pointed at the sky lol!
For the shattering in the hammer strap/hitch, I've cut generous chunks out of old tires, drilled a hole for the pin and use them as dampeners. Works fine, doesn't last forever but, ones worn out the raw material is cheap. 😉👍
I would say is construction error on spreader if it can tilt over when load is in the back. On the other hand if your manure is really moist that adds some weight.
hey Cole back in the old days we used a piece of inner tube hooked to the handle of the pin and pulled it down over the bottom of the pin problem solved worked for us for many years
Brian "it's moist" 😂😂😂😂😂. Cole, your face was hilarious! Your girls just love you! Brian, good advise! Another good one as usual! Hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving!
Great video as always. I’d like to see a gate counter in the corner of a video some day. I always tried to get in the truck first, you don’t want a door seat on a livestock farm. Lol
I would recommend the pto adaptors that are split , When you tighten them they are squeezed into the splines of the tractors pto shaft. A little more money but they wont hurt the tractors splines . I liked the look on your face when you realized the spreader was unhooked, you got extremely lucky nothing got damaged beyond repair.
Cole you can cut discs out of old tyre and the would work pretty good to take the bounce out. Just make the holes bigger than the pin so it won't stick
Manure and organic material take up N to get processed in the ground. If you see yield increase I would suggest you need soil analyse to see what levels of micro nutrients are in lack. Since those are the ones in access to the plants the first.
We had that happen to us one year pulling a disk where the pin popped out and went back in on its own though in our case it was it popped out and back into the drawbar on the tractor. Glad it didn’t hurt anything
Ellie has that strong cow herding gene set. When a guy is hauling manure, shit happens. Weld or hook a section of chain to the correct pin top and chain the the spreader so ya got the correct pin. I hate pin shanks, give me a good old pintle hook shank hookup with lock cap. Spray that spreader chain and rear spinner blades down with canola or bean oil before you put it away for the winter after washing, stops the rust.
Yeah, I've done that... spreader decided to take the short way down the hill. Came to a stop, and my grandfather just said "Your okay, thats what matters"
Because of the weight distribution change when operating the poo-slinger, I would strongly recommend using a pin with a bolt and washers to reduce the play on the coupling.
I've said it before but man I'd like to experience a SD Winter, being from the NC Mtns It would be a damn trip for sure! Y'all stay safe n warm as ya can.
I was hauling hay in a trailer down a road when that same scenario happened to me. Seeing that in the rearview mirror will definitely get your adrenaline going lol
You should never run around with your mouth gaping open when spreading manure Cole, you never know when the odd cow pie will coming flying in from the back or when the flies will take a shot at flying down your throat. About spreading manure over snow, its got its advantages, number one, the cold suppresses the smell somewhat. Number 2, you can definitely tell where you've spread at already and number 3, if its still snowing while you're spreading, it'll eventually cover the smell!
Great job guys on the videos, we are horse breeders in NB Canada . Many years ago while my wife worked on a farm in NY they has black angus along with their Arabian horses, we were wondering if you might have any “” sir William” blood in your herd?
I enjoyed the video Cole that is a lot of poor glad the equipment is ok and it didn’t do anything to it I don’t like snow ❄️ all that much to I say it’s cold there to tell everybody I said hi and asked if them if don’t make another video before thanksgiving hope you and all your family has a happy thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽 and Jeff to looking forward to the next video you stay cool 😎 Cole and safe and your family and hope all y’all have a happy thanksgiving until the next video
You guys need to have a custom horn for your tractors for when the cows get in the way. You have to get the one that they can understand. When you push the button the horn says: Mooooooove ! ( just for the record I said moooooove before I actually saw it in the video. )
Omg the look of horror on your face was stunning! I felt it too! As my husband would say.. “well will ya look at that! “ at least it’s ok. Whewwwww. Now go for lunch. Take care.
I’ve never had good lucky with those style PTO adapters, they don’t like to stay tight as you are probably realizing. Get an adapter from the mother Deere they use 2 bolts instead of set screws.
Cole...I ever tell you about the time I quit....that’s right, cause I didn’t 😂 ...best ever: “I ever tell ya” story
yes I agree with that, but have I ever told you about the time that ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Yes quitting is not an option. Not for me...
Keep it up Brian, love the stories and jokes etc
Yah right if it isnt gonna work you better quit. You waste too much time accomplishing nothing
Right?
I love the look on Cole's face when the trailer came disconnected. It was hilarious!
I had to go back and play it again. He was shocked.
I thought it was hilarious also. One never knows what will happen when towing implements.
I couldn't believe he remained silent and didn't use some entertaining dialect that would have been edited out!
That one was priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and then dad stopped by to tell us a story.
Yell that’s a good expression

Hi Cole love your sense of humor, I loved the part when you were showing us the Bald eagle.
#America 😅
Your reaction when the pin came out is hilarious lol
[Q] What is the worst place, in a hospital, to Play Hide & Go seek?
[A] Intensive care unit (ICU)
I was cracking up with Brian's " did i ever tell you about the time I quit? Because I did'nt! Lmao love watching these videos!! Ellie rules!!
The look on your face when you realized the manure spreader became detached, was priceless!!
I’ve just watched your video on how you started youtube . Just feel compelled to say you & your dad , stony ridge , and so on are the heart of AMERICA. Keep doing what your doing. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
I had to rewind it multiple times just to keep laughing at his reaction to the spreader disconnecting 😂 Quality laughing material i tell ya.

What's that Ellie? Jimmie fell down a well? HA ! HA! Love that... thanks for a parting laugh!

I know it is not funny, but I still can't stop laughing. Cole's facial expression was historical. You made my day. It is great to laugh!!!
haha good!
Have a great Thanksgiving guys with your family!

Evening from France 🇫🇷, enjoying the videos, really well done and enjoy the chat.
Cows felt the heat from the 💩 😂🤣😂. Great job Cole and Brian.
On welkers channel they showed some thick nylon discs that went around the draw pin to take the bounce out of the hitch.
Bryan didn't have much to say on camera when he saw his brand new spreader laying in feild with the toung pointed at the sky lol!
Another great vid Sonnes! Glad the spreader didn’t get tore up!

Thanks ! 👍👍😊😊
When the tractor and spreader separated, all I could think was..... “don’t back up. Don’t back up!”
I would say is construction error on spreader if it can tilt over when load is in the back. On the other hand if your manure is really moist that adds some weight.
I liked the whole video, especially your father's story about quitting, "... That's because I never did.", and, "America, yeah, yeah"!
hey Cole back in the old days we used a piece of inner tube hooked to the handle of the pin and pulled it down over the bottom of the pin problem solved worked for us for many years
It's nice you have the proper equipment to handle your big operation. Thanks for the videos!
I enjoy watching ppl spread manure and I like to do it myself. I like feeding the soil and making it the best possible
Lol
Always love your dad sayings so awesome you always take your time to get us the great poo shots good stuff have a great thanksgiving
I would recommend the pto adaptors that are split , When you tighten them they are squeezed into the splines of the tractors pto shaft. A little more money but they wont hurt the tractors splines . Great video guys looks cold no snow here in Wales uk yet not that I'm looking forward to it
Thanks for doing all you do to feed the World.
Glad no one was hurt. Great Video!
Love your cow kisses on the video 😂😂 made my day
Thanks for posting. Good stuff Brian. You are da Man !
Four wheel tractor at 3:12. Neat trick!
They make poly pieces as a wear plate and to take up space in the hitch. Also, bolts work great for keeping hitch pins in place (as I’m sure you know)
You guys where on fire today such a funny video! Keep it up! :)
The look on Cole's face when he lost the manure spreader was priceless!!!!
That’s why you put a clip through the bottom of the pin. First sign is the front half of the PTO shaft swinging around hitting the 3pt arms or hitch.
Thanks for taking me a long love your operation
Good video Cole,Brian,and Ellie.
Cole you can cut discs out of old tyre and the would work pretty good to take the bounce out. Just make the holes bigger than the pin so it won't stick
So, don't you guys have solar/wind powered electric gates out on the prairie, remotely operated from your tractors?
is that a thing?
@@SonneFarms It should be, eh?
Manure and organic material take up N to get processed in the ground. If you see yield increase I would suggest you need soil analyse to see what levels of micro nutrients are in lack. Since those are the ones in access to the plants the first.

Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🌞 Farms
Yeah, I've done that... spreader decided to take the short way down the hill. Came to a stop, and my grandfather just said "Your okay, thats what matters"
great vid cole, looks dam cold up there in sd.
Same Sh t different pile. Happy Holidays Sonne Farms !!
Looks great in the snow.
My, My Even the Cornstar hasn't come disconnected like that! But give him time he will catch on. LOL
i have, about like 5 times lol. forget to put the bottom pin in. hit a few bumps. bops up the main pin enough to detach.
@Hi Randy how are you doing
Cole I was thinking that Eagle could land on that finger before it flew away. Nice video.
10:18 the face of, "are u f****** kidding me, did that really just happen"
Because of the weight distribution change when operating the poo-slinger, I would strongly recommend using a pin with a bolt and washers to reduce the play on the coupling.
Nice work there Brian !
Never quit !
Thats right. Never quit.
I'm not even a farmer and love watching these videos. Do you duck or goose hunt at all on your land?
Hi Cole and Brian Glad the poo slinger survived when dose the calving season start in SD have a day love from TEXAS
Impressive color changing cows. Go from black angus to charolai in the winter then back to black angus. Impressive indeed
I've said it before but man I'd like to experience a SD Winter, being from the NC Mtns It would be a damn trip for sure! Y'all stay safe n warm as ya can.

Cole, the look on your face when you realized the spreader had separated was a 1st.
Maybe put some washer between the cotter pin hole and the bottom of the drawbar
Great job guys on the videos, we are horse breeders in NB Canada . Many years ago while my wife worked on a farm in NY they has black angus along with their Arabian horses, we were wondering if you might have any “” sir William” blood in your herd?
not that i know of
some other farmers says that if the temp is below -30C it can be deadly for cows. How cold is it in your country in the winter and night time
We don’t have a cotterpin in the pin on our baler since it catches hay so bad and gets tangled up in everything
In Austria you can expect a photo of yourself in the local newspaper besides a fine if you spread on snow. Too many people with too much spare time.
Amen to that.
That’s a nice speaker had the pin come out on me before also it will wake ya up for sure👍
Does your hardware store sell heat tapes to put around your hoses to keep them from freezing???
Cole, by the looks on your dad's face, I'm almost certain that you have put the fun back in farming.
You guys need to have a custom horn for your tractors for when the cows get in the way.
You have to get the one that they can understand. When you push the button the horn says:
Mooooooove !
( just for the record I said moooooove before I actually saw it in the video. )
Hey Cole man, you're face was sooooo entertaining when u lost the spreader!! Glad we could see your eyes.😇🤬🐒🇨🇦
Wonder why cows go crazy when hauling manure, ours start rolling around.haha tagging a mean cows calf is fun!
A good operator never backs up when the pto comes apart....so you are good. #boom
Omg the look of horror on your face was stunning! I felt it too! As my husband would say.. “well will ya look at that! “ at least it’s ok. Whewwwww. Now go for lunch. Take care.
use a torch to get the strings of the beaters. works very well
I’ve never had good lucky with those style PTO adapters, they don’t like to stay tight as you are probably realizing. Get an adapter from the mother Deere they use 2 bolts instead of set screws.
