I'm 70 years old and I just gave away all my jeans, which at this stage in my life was 2 pair and they were skinny legs and too little for me now. I always said I wish they'd come out with a nice pull on jeans...YOU DID IT. Your embroidery work is beautiful.
I love that you work with fabric shops to help us find the right kind of fabric! Often the most discouraging part of sewing is sourcing the fabric. Thank you!
What struck me was the fact that on all your testers, the rear view is beautiful. With this pattern, you have managed to produce a nice fit for the backside of many different body types!
This is the first time I have made a comment with love notions. I love that your jeans have a natural waist. I get so frustrated with low-rise jeans. Low-rise jeans are for teenagers and super-trendy adults, and I don't care for them. I want a natural waist. I want a comfortable pair of jeans. Thank you for the fabric sources. Finding the correct midweight and amount of stretch I want is so hard to find in the retail store.
I'm 65 and can't wait to make these jeans! Having made jeans since the 70's, I am more into the comfort aspect now! Wonderful pattern and I'm excited to get going!
I love making my own jeans and I've transitioned to only making pull-on jeans - this pattern is a winner! I use my embroidery machine to embellish the back pockets - using my own designs. The hardest part of sewing jeans is finding the perfect fabric.
This pattern is right up my alley! I’m not a great sewer, yet. I used to sew all kinds of things-all my clothes, except coats, underwear and swimming suits! I learned to sew in 7th grade in home ec. I couldn’t stop after that! Woven, knits, light weight & heavyweight. Then after I finished school and was married for 5 or so years, I had two baby boys, 3 yrs apart. So, I sewed many of their clothes! And they were a lot faster! (easier styles & smaller sizes!). As the years passed I became busier and ended up going to work. I got out of the habit of sewing. Now, I’m retired and have more time and a new sewing machine, so I am attempting to learn and relearn all the skills of sewing. I would never attempt a pair of jeans now, but I actually think I can make these!! I’m excited to start. Wish me luck!
I was in the situation. Sewed in Home Ec, younger years, then stopped due to work. Now I absolutely love sewing and can’t stop. Check out Lifting Pins and needles and Thoughtful creativity. Lots of advice and tips. Love Notions Patterns are well drafted. I’d start with this indie pattern company.
I saw your short video the other day for the Crescendo Jeans and thought, “Yes” finally pull on jeans! I am a jeans girl from the 70’s and have a hard time wearing any other type of pants. Since the short video I have been watching everyday-checking to see if it was available yet. I grabbed mine this morning! I started to look for fabric right away! I also have the Legato jeans pattern with the class the last time I bought from Love Notions. I normally don’t get this excited about a pattern, knowing I can get a custom fit makes me Happy! Thank you so much for making this pattern!
This pattern has real potential for me and my adult daughter! I really appreciate seeing the testers in their makes with different body types and heights.
Just yesterday I promised myself I would NOT buy any more patterns or fabric!! Well, maybe just one more time... I love your patterns, and this one looks like another winner!!
So excited LN designed a pull on jean. I’m 70 yo and finding jeans that will fit and have a tall version for this odd shaped body. Thanks LN for your commitment to real women’s clothing.
Ever since you first hinted at this pattern, I have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. I can't believe it's finally here. I love pull on jeans and now I can get them to fit both my large waist and my short legs!!!!!
I love stretch denim jeans. I was so disapointed when my favorite RTW brand discontinued the style that actually fit me, so I'm really looking forward to making these jeans...with embroidered pockets!
Tammy and Love Notions ....you outdid yourselves with this pattern. ....having difficulty getting perfect fit Jeans ....this is going to solve my perfect fit problems.....well done!! Looking forward to a Shirt design for the men in our lives.....
I'm a belt wearer. And hearing pull on jeans made me nervous. Imagine my surprise when I saw belt loops! So awesome! I may now get brave enough to sew me some. And thanks for including all the leg styles. That means I can buy one pattern for the styles me and my two girls like. You guys rock.
I’d love to try these, but I’m so afraid of sewing fitted pants! I’m a terrible apple shape, and would hate to waste my time and money to end up with something terrible. I’m new to sewing garments. Handled the LDT okay, and a cadence. Would love to try this.
I've been seeing garments for myself since I was about 11 yo, but I've avoided making jeans bc I doubted I could get the foot and details the way I wanted. Jeans fit me well up until a few years ago, and I don't even want to try them on in a store. I'm going to purchase this pattern based on the results of the many pattern testers' gorgeous photos.
I just watched Karina’s vlog (lifting pins and needles) on these and bought the pattern straight away. As well as the comfort factor being pull-up they look fitted you’d never know they had an elastic waist, plus the ease of adjusting the rise means a lot to me, I CANNOT purchase jeans that I don’t have to keep hitching up after a few washes because the rise just wasn’t quite right. I’m 65 and from the era that looove wearing jeans, now I can stay in style with all the variations to choose from without having to hunt high and low for a brand and style that fits me.
My one & only jeans are pull on from old navy (10 yrs ago) . Recently my 89 yr old mom just entered long term care & wants a pull on wide leg jean to accommodate her Foley Bladder catheter. I'll purchase the pattern, but it will be on hold until I can afford $$ the fabric. Cannot wait to wear the final jeans & gift my momma a pair too!
I bought this pattern the moment I saw it advertised, and the hook was the full butt adjustment :) Thanks for all the work you did creating this pattern!
I love the versatility of this pattern. Love the pull up style and being able to custom fit to my body. You have done an amazing job designing these Jean's. Thank you so much!💞
I love the fact that these jeans are so stylish, are height adjustable and so many leg variations. What a wonderful combination as I find traditional jeans to be expensive for my 5 ft frame especially when having details like embroidery. I was excited after watching Karina's video and can't wait to purchase the pattern for me! Thank you also for including the online shops where to purchase recommended fabrics! Love Notions to the rescue for making great patterns. Now to watch Kim's video for more inspiration! (Dorothy's Daughter)
I have been sewing bags, totes and purses for the last 7 years and had just recently decided I wanted to try sewing my own clothes. I'm 5'9" and it's incredibly difficult to find jeans to fit me correctly. As a result, I only have 2 pair in my closet and they're very old and need replacing. I dread shopping for jeans so when your video came across my feed I thought now is the perfect time to try it! I also have a hard time getting tops to fit so I'll be looking at your tops patterns as well. Let the fun begin!
I ordered this pattern. It's exactly what I need. I have no jeans that fit me properly. I'm 78 and retired and would love to receive the giveaway. I've been looking at the fabric stores you recommend and they are all sold out. I am so anxious to sew this pattern. Thank you for considering me for your giveaway, I've been sewing since I was 7 years old and absolutely love this pattern. I love your videos they are so clear with wonderful tips.
I’ve never tried sewing bottoms before as I’ve been entirely intimidated. These jeans look amazing, and like I might actually be able to do them. I’m excited to try!
I have difficulty finding jeans that fit comfortably as I have a long torso and am only 5’4” tall, and I love a nice fitting jean without having wedgies all the time. I feel that this pattern will be the solution for me. Thank you so much.
Can't wait to make these jeans! Found the pattern and watched Lifting pins and needles video . These pants will be very doable as I understood the instructions . This will be my first download pattern and I am also gonna order some fabric! Thank you for working with vendors so we get the recommended fabric. Finding the recommended fabric is so challenging! I am really excited. I will keep you posted.
As you were going through where the crescendo jeans sat on the spectrum of difficulty, I was having a (not so mild) panicky moment… “Nooo!”I thought… “I need these jeans in my life!” Can you tell I haven’t made jeans before?! So I’m really thrilled that they seem to be a more accessible sew and will definitely be giving them a go. Sourcing the fabric in Australia may well be an interesting exercise! Oh…note to self…. Do a toile (or two) first😊. Thankyou for a great overview of this pattern.
I can’t wait to try this pull on jeans pattern! Funny story…..I worked at The House of Fabrics over 50 years ago. The double knits of that era were not the double knits of today. A lot of ladies were sewing elastic waist double knit pants and I just hated them. I swore I would never wear pants with elastic in the waist. Well now that we have beautiful pontes and stretch denim I had to eat my words!
I am just starting my sewing journey at 46 years old, and I just had my first child. I love watching your videos and found your patterns because of Tomkat Stitchery. I've just printed your Aurora dress 😊 I would love to make this pattern as I can't find what I call jeggings,or as you call them pull on jeans, anywhere and they are so comfy and practical 😊
Thank you LN. I love your new format when launching a new pattern. You answered so many questions, especially for a newbie. An added bonus is sourcing fabric stores for us! Thank you! ❤
I told myself no more sewing jeans because I've had such a hard time finding that perfect fit without super altering the pattern... which I'm not a fan of. This pattern, though, may change my mind!! :) I love that you included fabric rec's. And thanks for the giveaway!!
I've been trying to find jeans that fit and are comfy in various store and coming up with nothing suitable. Saw this new pattern and thought, "Maybe?" Watched the video and realized, "Yes!" I'm looking forward to making a pair -- and thank you for sourcing the fabric ❤.
I’ve signed up with the UFO club at my fabric store… this month the item number pulled corresponds with my #9 Jeans! I just was not getting my jeans done …and now, it will be the Crescendos! So excited!!
I am reasonably new to LN and love the patterns and they are so easy to use. I have just lost a huge amount of weight and would love to add a new pair of jeans 👖 to my wardrobe. I love the TH-cam tutorials as well as I'm a visual learner.
I was on the fence (because I have most LN bottoms patterns) but after seeing this video, I’m going back and completing my order of Crescendo Jeans. I love pull on’s and comfort is so important. The thing is this pattern is comfort and style. Great design!!!!❤
This would be fabulous. Being tall (ok, long legged) and extra round, sometimes it gets exhausting adjusting the pattern to fit. Thank you for providing so many possibilities
Thank you so much for sourcing fabric. This almost 70 year old has had difficulty finding denim with sufficient stretch for pull-on pants (the only kind of clothing I want to bother with these days). It’s all about comfort and the need to smooth the accumulating lumps.
This pattern looks incredible! I am short and have a hard time finding jeans that are the right combination of fit and style for me. This looks just right!
I tried making double zipper jeans when I was taking high school home ec. They were ok, but obviously homemade. I never tried to make pants again. This pattern will let me be successful.
I had been waiting and searching and looking for a good pattern to make myself comfy jeans. I have never been able to find the right length on RTW jeans or leggings anyway, and after having my baby it's becoming even harder to find anything flattering or nicely fitting at the stores. I already purchased the pattern and I can't wait to see it up! Thank you!
I haven’t sewn in a very long time. This sure looks like a good investment and a very doable project. Thanks so much for walking us through the ins and outs of this great pattern!
I haven't been able to find regular jeans that fit me, so this pattern - and type of jeans - would be perfect! Now i just need to get the fabric and get busy 🧵🪡
Wow! Wow! I’ve been waiting for you beautiful Ladies to bring out an easy stretch jean’s pattern! I bought the pattern immediately. Thank you from this lumpy bumpy 70+ year old. 💐
I have had zero desire to try making jeans before now, but I might be able to get behind these!! They look SO comfy and I already know your patterns fit me well!
Life has gotten in the way of sewing up your last release so I’m hoping that this much needed piece to my wardrobe will get me back in the swing of getting in my sewing room! These look wonderful ♥️
I have wanted to make a pair of jeans for a long time but dreaded the thought of figuring out the fit. The Crescendo jeans look like the answer to my dilemma. All the choices will enable me to get the fit that I want. I can't wait to make these pants!
I saw a pattern for pull on jeans a few days ago and immediately thought, "I wish Love Notions would make a pattern for these", because I knew you would come up with several great options. This is great news!
I try to find jeans that really fit, but it’s been difficult. I love to quilt and have dress sewn since I was in my early teens. I’m looking forward to seeing this.
Having made the Sabrina Slims as Jeans about a million times, I couldn't purchase this pattern fast enough. I looove all the leg options. Winning a bundle would be amazing. I can't wait to see your embellishment video. Your embroidery looks great!❤
So love this pattern and at 77 years old I have a lot of body changes at all times. Sewing your patterns has open a whole new world for me. Thank you for giving us patterns that all women can use and enjoy. I have bought three of your pants patterns but have been waiting for the stretch pull on band top. It helps us gals of a certain stage, age and size. So appreciate the nod of where to get the best fabric for these.
I bought my pattern today and ordered the fabric from one of your recommended sources. I'm so excited to get started on this pattern. I love that it is pull on and has so many options. Back rise has always been a challenge for me. Your many options should solve that problem. Thanks, for this wonderful pattern.
I'm a retired mom who lives in leggings and jeggings and I thought they would be too hard for me to make as a beginning sewist. In fact in January I just bought two pairs of jeggings from a major retailer since they were on sale. I've sewn about 12 LN blouses since last fall, and I made two (wearable) muslins of Resolution Bottoms but I'm still working on the fit. I'm so excited about this pattern and eager to try it out. I love your patterns! Thanks for re-teaching me to sew and updating my wardrobe!
I'm 70 years old and I just gave away all my jeans, which at this stage in my life was 2 pair and they were skinny legs and too little for me now. I always said I wish they'd come out with a nice pull on jeans...YOU DID IT. Your embroidery work is beautiful.

It is! We've been gathering resources though! Hopefully shops will be able to keep it in stock more often now! ☺️ ~J

I especially like the fabric recommendations. I feel like this is where I fail frequently.
The first thing I thought when I saw this pattern was - A Pull-On Jean! HOORAY! So excited for this one!
So glad I saw this video. Ive heard a lot of rumble on this new pattern!! Love all the options. Off to go shop!

Me, too, but I did!
Hahahahahaha just one more....😏

I need this so bad, love the idea of making jeans that fit!
I love stretch denim jeans. I was so disapointed when my favorite RTW brand discontinued the style that actually fit me, so I'm really looking forward to making these jeans...with embroidered pockets!
Love Notions is my favorite pattern company. I think I own every pattern you have produced.
Yayyy for quilters and yayyy for Missouri Star!!! I’m a quilter who is dabbling into garment sewing.
This seems to have it all for most body shapes. The fact that it offers adjustment for different bottom body shapes is fantastic.
Tammy and Love Notions ....you outdid yourselves with this pattern. ....having difficulty getting perfect fit Jeans ....this is going to solve my perfect fit problems.....well done!! Looking forward to a Shirt design for the men in our lives.....
Woo hoo! Glad to hear it, thank you! ~J

I am so excited to see this new jeans pattern, so much so that I am very definitely going to get this one!😊
I’ve always been too intimidated to try sewing jeans but, this just may be the pattern that gets me over my fear.
Do it!! Sewing jeans doesn't have to be scary! ☺️ ~J

Yay! I love this pattern. Jeans are my go to pants, but because I'm getting older I am absolutely over zippers! I just want to be comfortable!

You have really stepped it up with this pattern. You haven't forgotten a thing to help getting that perfect fit. I'm in love.
I can’t wait to see this up! I hope to win but if not I am still going to see this up
I’ve signed up with the UFO club at my fabric store… this month the item number pulled corresponds with my #9 Jeans!
I live in pull ons, so this pattern is absolutely perfect for me.
I'm beyond excited about this pattern. I'm so glad you included so many leg styles - I'm sure I will be able to fit my very prominent calves.
Will be a nice option for working outdoors or dressed up in a dark wash.
I can't wait to try this pattern. I've always wanted to try stretch jeans. Thank you for this new pattern.
Can’t wait to make my Crescendo jeans. My fabric should arrive soon!
Finally, I can make a pair of jeans to fit my shape. I'm a size 5 - 6X on top and a 3 - 4X on the bottom. Thank you
So excited to try out this pattern! Now my old hole covered jeans can take a back seat 😂
This pattern looks incredible! I am short and have a hard time finding jeans that are the right combination of fit and style for me. This looks just right!
This video has given me the courage to possibly sewing the Crescendos. I get excited. The only pants I have made that fit me are the Allegros.
This is my kind of pattern. I love that all the leg styles are included.
I've been looking for the perfect pull-on jeans pattern. This one looks like it might be the one I've been looking for!
Excited to make some perfect fitting comfortable jeans.
I tried making double zipper jeans when I was taking high school home ec. They were ok, but obviously homemade. I never tried to make pants again. This pattern will let me be successful.
Thank you for a great new pattern--even my teen daughters are interested!
I love that this pattern has different rises. I am petite and have a hard time finding petite pant patterns. Thanks.
Very excited for the flat seat adjustment!!!!
I haven't been able to find regular jeans that fit me, so this pattern - and type of jeans - would be perfect! Now i just need to get the fabric and get busy 🧵🪡
I live in capri's all summer. I need this pattern just for that reason alone. These would make the best Capri pants.
Wow! Wow! I’ve been waiting for you beautiful Ladies to bring out an easy stretch jean’s pattern! I bought the pattern immediately. Thank you from this lumpy bumpy 70+ year old. 💐
I will be purchasing this pattern. I love the fact that it's pull on jeans, many variations but it also come in TALL.....love that. ❤
I really like the Know before you Sew videos.
This will be the first jeans pattern I have EVER tackled and I would love to give into your prize draw
I have had zero desire to try making jeans before now, but I might be able to get behind these!! They look SO comfy and I already know your patterns fit me well!
The jeans look really comfortable.
Wow love the new jeans pattern. Such a comfortable option especially with the high rise and so versatile with all the leg options.
Wow! All those options! Maybe, finally, I could have a pattern that fits ME. Really enjoyed this introduction video.
Love Notions creates the best fitting patterns I have ever used. I would like to try the new Crescendo jeans.
I try to find jeans that really fit, but it’s been difficult. I love to quilt and have dress sewn since I was in my early teens. I’m looking forward to seeing this.
I’m really looking forward to making these. Finding the right fit in the store is just always so difficult!
This is an exciting fabric. Comfort and good fit! Perfect.
Oh dear. I am supposed to be sewing new nightshirts, but instead I am being lured by this incredible pants pattern. Heading off to order it now.
I am not normally a pants sewist lol- but after watching this video they look like something I would make. Can't wait to try!
I bought my pattern today and ordered the fabric from one of your recommended sources. I'm so excited to get started on this pattern. I love that it is pull on and has so many options. Back rise has always been a challenge for me. Your many options should solve that problem. Thanks, for this wonderful pattern.
This a great pattern you did not leave anything out! I am only 5 ft , this has everything! Thank you for this pattern.
I usually stick to sewing tops but I think I'll step out of my comfort zone and give these a try! Thanks for the video!
It’s been a hot minute since I told a jeans class in college. I’m ready to attempt again!!
