Hey Luke, would you think a req system for the campaign would be a good idea. But have it apart of score attack? It would be a nice addition of if they could. And maybe people would play the game longer
All the more reason to PC port it if you ask me. Anyone that can play Overwatch today can have a Halo Reach experience in 60 fps and all that jazz. The port would take time tho xD
I got onto my 360, activated Xbox live. Brings back so many memories. Halo Reach will go down as one of the greatest games of all time. It just saddens me when I saw all my Reach buddies haven’t been on in 3+ years.
I don’t play halo anymore but this was probably the first video game I actually invested myself into and made new friends who loved the game as much as I did. I’m so happy to see people actually still play since it’s such a good game. Also I don’t know how you could mention Halo Reach without talking about forge. The forge community was huge. I spent more time making racetracks than shooting people.
Thats what i loved about it so much, that map forge world housed all the greatest custom games as well as some oldies that people tried to bring in the new shitty forge (and maps) in the new halos. You had to try and jump over people that had vehicles driving down a ramp trying to hit you. Not to mention the amazing racetracks
This is the best halo game ever made, and now that it’s coming to PC it’s even better It had the best story, and the best multiplayer It’s the last Halo game Bungie made and the last Halo game that was done *right* It’s always going to be in my heart as the most amazing game ever released
Yes!!! I love Halo Reach! I feel the same way! Every word you typed I agree with. Except for the best game. Minecraft is my personal fave. But still it’s a good game. See ya on the battlefield
I agree. The story is wonderful and heartbreaking, and the soundtrack is enjoyable as well. Those who went into the game knowing nothing about the planet of Reach would find themselves believing they were fighting for the fate of the planet only to have that ripped from them halfway through as they slowly realize that they are actually watching the last days of the planet. I remember that moment myself, after reading the novel a while before. I think, as well, the campaign benefited from not having the annoyance of the Flood to deal with, regardless of how integral to the story they are.
reach represented the peak of multiplayer game evolution. no microtransactions, solid mechanics, top notch party system, forge, and graphics that hold up very well today.
CoolDrify I’d say Halo 3 multiplayer was far more superior. Reach had horrendous map designs, leaving the community to create those gray customs on forge world (seriously, couldn’t Bungie offer a choice of color?), and some new game mechanics (armor abilities) didn’t work in synergy with traditional mechanics, leading to a lot of frustrating occurrences. Even thought forge in Reach is superior, it seemed like the H3 community was more creative with what was given to them, giving birth to many classics that are still played today on subsequent halos. Overall the fun factor in H3 was just better, and it would’ve reached legendary level if Bungie included a custom game browser. What Reach got right was including the community’s work and favorites (infection, griffball, firefight, etc.) in their own matchmaking.
I watch and enjoy the content created by both halo cannon and Hidden Xperia but as far as content I CARE about, this guy manages to answer questions and put insight into what I love most about the halo series, especially due to how much he pays homage to people who grew up with the franchise.
I still play it time to time, even I got to inheritor years ago. I also enjoy doing commandations. Im currently at 87% and have unlocked everything including both flaming armor effects.
I loved the campaign. It was pretty much the perfect rounding off of the story and as far as I'm concerned, Reach is the end of the Halo series. Lone Wolf is still one of the greatest finales to a game ever.
Reach should've been the last halo. I know everyone will hate me for saying that, but had it been the last halo game and 4 and 5 never existed halo would've been left with such a beautiful legacy instead of becoming just another sci fi shooter.
Dallas The Coyote You're demanding consistence in an inconsistent as hell company that barely cares about the fans anymore. Besides, ODST is un the mcc so why not Reach?
MythicTyrant If they add Reach to MCC it will mess up the playerbase of the 360 Version, I also want to have credits and full customisation which most likely would not make it into MCC due to the dumbed down customisation.
I personally wouldn't mind it if they add a feaature where you enter the proof of purchase code on the 360 versions into the MCC database and allow for those who have it to play it without having to buy a download.
When you finish the campaing in legendary you really feel conected with the game, i love Halo Reach, playing it today is a rollercoaster of emotions and nostalic moments, thank you Halo for all the amazing experiences
oh yeah, i'll always remember soloing it on legendary. specially the covenant ship level, where i ran out of ammo and had to make do with semi-empty crap i found on the ground and sneaking behind elites one by one because i simply did not have enough firepower to take one down head-on
Whenever I hear the Reach music I almost start crying. Cant believe its almost been 10 years. Halo Reach was probably my prime time and i loved it. The campaign, multiplayer, forge mode and custom game lobbys playing the craziest player made games. Games today are advancing so much, but this will always be my favorite game
I've never played overwatch, but my guess is that overwatch takes into consideration a lot of stats when creating a lobby. They choose to create a balanced match instead of a quick one.
I am DEFINITELY playing reach again after watching this. It has always been my favorite halo game right next to halo 3. But you forgot to mention how amazing the campaign is. I’ve come back to play through it at least 3 times now. Great vid besides that Edit: 4 times now
William Burnette i can't afford live gold so i played just a little of multiplayer in Reach. I played it mostly for campaingn which i have completed about 7 times...
I'm curious if reach will even have ranks, considering in mcc you have all armor etc. I really hope the ranking system returns though, with or without the rank your xbox account had. I may have spent a stupid amount of time reaching inheritor, but honestly it would be fun starting from scratch again on pc :P
@@zzer0_420 I certainly hope they dont cut out the ranks, but it will be part of mcc and look at the other games in mcc. All armor unlocked, no ranks except the skill based ranks in certain playlists
@@dannearv would be incredibly disappointing and would probably get a huge backlash from the community if that were the case. i loved grinding cR honestly
I purchased all halo games recently, I got halo reach and instantly got hooked onto multiplayer. The customization is fantastic and gameplay is enjoyable.
HoRiZoN 815 I actually bought both halo 5 and reach just today for 15$ on offerup lol omg I already have 6 hours of invasion multiplayer so far. Money’s worth 👊🏽
xMerciless Blame Bungie, the base gametypes don’t give enough credits at higher ranks. At Legend, I should not be getting 1500-2000 credits per game. That’s nothing. If I boost Grifball, I earn 9-15K per game for much less time & it’s much more fitting for my rank since my remaining armory items all cost in the hundreds of thousands as well as the two effects in the millions. Grifball boost payouts are just so much fairer for higher ranked players.
xMerciless did I say anything about farming? Chill dude. I like playing it proper. But when every single person in the game is just dicking about without organising it, it’s a special moment
Thinking sbout buying Reach again. Both my older brothers had their own cooy of the game but those 2 went missing somehow. Say, do they still sell xbox live at gamestop or do I have to buy it online or something??
Mr Classica halo 4 forge was hard to us and for some reason when i would spawn a wepon then switch to an actual game on multi player using the same map i created the wepons would not spawn
this is what game developers should look at as a good example of gaming. pre game lobby you can see ranks, gamertag, service record, armor etc, post game party ups, veto, no micro transactions, if only it was remastered 😔😔
TheSheklestineBandit FaNs LikE mYseLf CaLl tHis tHe LAST... stfu up all halo games are great and have good and bad things only real halo fans know that halo is to have fun with the boys
I mean, these are all good points, but in my opinion they aren't THE reason to go back to Halo: Reach over any other game in the series. No, the reason to go back to Halo: Reach is because it is has the best Forge in a Halo game with split-screen. Halo 5 has more forge options, but can you pull it up at a party with the bros and play some splitscreen? No. No you can't. But you can always go back to Halo: Reach.
KC Clark halo reach gameplay and story is better than 5 and so is the hero customization. Halo 2 is still the pinnicle of halo but halo reach is a close second then halo 1
@Steven Jones Oh, you're not wrong by any means, Halo 5 has a huge range of other issues (which is why I never bought it - in fact, it's one of the reasons I didn't buy an Xbox One at all), but in my opinion the Forge mode is the one thing that Reach can say is better than EVERY other Halo game, including Halo 2.
Using armor block when a vehicle was coming at full speed to you was the best in Halo Reach, when I did that as a 13 years old I felt like a pro player haha.
Halo reach was a fucking masterpiece! Of course people are still gonna play it. I loved reach it was the first of the halo games i finished completely. Master chief was in reach during the cutscene on the ship look right and hes in a cryo/stasis pod. Hell yea reach needs to be in the MCC it deserves it.
I loved the credit system and the customization in this game. The armor didn't look so similar to others. And it made me appreciate the level grinding I did when I got em.
It's the best "firefight" style mode I've ever played in a game aswell. Giving yourself 4 overshields and making every wave a hunters only melee fight was a blast.
@Reinboa If you set Armor abilities to never run out, you could equip a jetpack and maybe a rocket launcher and beam rifle to become a mini AC-130 for your friends. Firefight was probably my favorite thing about Reach, though ODST's is good too. Just not modifiable.
Braswell Unleashed actually you keep your stats if you have a Microsoft account from way long ago. Because you need to have a Microsoft account to play MCC on steam. But if you are new than yes you will start from the ground up
Personal opinion: reach just got multiplayer right. Minus armour lock, even though it's pretty easy to counter. A slight advantage/ disadvantage throughout the match always seemed fun to me, camo wasn't too difficult to spot, armour locking was basically a death sentence when you activate it, hologram trolling was amazing, and jetpacks had a pretty understandable distance and cooldown. I personally only used sprint and holo but i still enjoyed playing against all sorts of different combinations. I enjoyed the challenge of being out smarted and out played on it. Anyway my tangent probably stopped making sense a while ago, IMO reach > 4 and 5
what fuckin counter was there to armor lock? it literally stopped combat for several seconds, counter-play was non existent. they added visual bloom to your main rifle (DMR) that pissed off competitive players to the point where a lot quit. MLG dropped Halo shortly after Reach was launched, Reach got a lot right with its multiplayer but did a lot wrong as well. New Halo games make Reach look like a fucking masterpiece. But the direction Reach was going kind of started the death of Halo. Reach was easily the worst Halo Bungie made, praise a game worthy of praise. Reach is not one of them.
Zumbagify are you always this hostile when someone states their opinion? Countering armour lock just throw a grenade at them when they're about to exit it and it's a null effort most times. You can also tell by the colour of the armour mod. If you feel froggy, jetpack was a good counter as well. Also, MLG doesn't determine what a good game is or isn't, just saying.
Hmmmm when you put it that way it makes a bit of sense. Your going to make me play again with that point of view and see if i can appreciate it differently. Thanks for your opinion.
I'm a PC gamer but I used to play Halo. Halo Reach is by far my favorite of the franchise. It's dark and gritty just like the trailers which is pretty neat. If Halo came to PC, I wish this was it.
Halo 1 and 2 are on PC. There was a cracked mod of Halo Online that essentially gave you Halo 3 multiplayer on PC but that has since been shutdown by Microsoft. Halo 1 at least has mod support too so custom maps game modes, etc. I don't know if they allowed that for Halo 2 however I haven't played the PC version of that.
Silas Stryder I wish they brought reach over to PC. I only have a pc and ps3 and don't want to buy an Xbox only for reach. Miss this game a shit ton though. I gotta get back into the community
I never really had a problem with the bloom and DMR. Pacing my shots came very naturally in my case, and I was able to beat rapid-fire players in a shoot-out most of the time. Guess it's just a play-style thing, but at the time I wondered why so many people were so bothered by it, lol.
I mean, there was bullet spread on the Halo 3 BR that could be a pain. The DMR helped in that sense because while you could still suffer with the bullet spread from the bloom, if you slowed down it was actually more accurate in general.
Do u really think they would take out a core feature of the game just to put it in the MCC?? That's just retarded they never put it on the MCC because it's not master chiefs story it's noble teams woudnt make any sense to have it on MCC but a remaster would be great.
"the DMR still can't shoot straight" well, i can't say for everyone but the DMR is a god damn master piece of a weapon in reach that shoot very accurate, it just needs to have some timed shots and keeping calm and the gun could carry you through out the game.
TheRussianbear dmr is my favorite gun. I wish i could loadout on all maps with it. There's a certain finess with it and when i am in a grove i tear shit up with the dmr. It took me a while to understand the weapon. There's nothing better to me than a one on one dmr battle. I feel i have a good chance of winning. I might not win every battle but i have a chance. People dont like it i guess because its not really useful if you just go around spamming shots as fast as you can. They get pissed because they thought they had the upper hand and are blasting away yet they still get taken down. Why? I don't know maybe because your opponent rattled off 5 shots calmly, steadily and accurately
Bloom was there for a reason, it balanced the sandbox. Halo 3’s sandbox is brilliant but a lot of it felt very weak. Reach’s weapons, even shitty ones like the Focus Rifle, all feel powerful but are balanced by bloom. If you spam, you *will* lose most of your duels. Of course bloom isn’t perfect because of the RNG element, but Reach had a thriving internal competitive community that didn’t need MLG or an external provider for a reason. It’s a very skill based game. On Reach, you were either very good or very shit, you don’t get a higher skillgap than that & you certainly don’t get a skillgap like it on most casual games. When competitive players state their dislike of Reach for being ‘casual’, what they mean is they don’t like having to be tactical with every fight. Same with the Halo 5 beta & it’s lighting, which they demanded be removed.
Thank you lol. I still argue to this day that bloom is better than Zero bloom overall. getting rid of the mechanic breaks the sandbox and turns the DMR into the one thing Bungie was trying to avoid when balancing the BR over the course of Halos 2-3. It's the epitome of counter productive. The competitive community jumped the gun and got rid of the entire room rather than just getting rid of the elephant. There were better ways of fixing bloom.
So thanks to this video I gave halo reach a try on my one x and dam it was fun man my hunted helmet was still there witch I just couldn’t belive I hate that 343 are shutting down the servers for the older halo games multiplayers and the amount of grind it fucking tuck to get that helmet
Halo reach is just by far the best non chief halo game, curse me out all you want, but it's just what I think, hell, I think it's better than most halo games apart from 3 PERIOD. The campaign first off just absolutely nailed at showing how much of a threat the covenant were, no other halo game gave off the vibe of just pure defeat and hopelessness in their campaign like reach does, the flood terrified us sure but that doesn't equate to the thought of how what you are doing only ends with little meaning and temporary victory, literally only halo 3 has done that, and it was just once(when you clear up all of the covenant from the city and then the flood just push the city back into a destroyed state). The campaign didn't end on a happy go lucky ending, it basically just ended like "hey you got your buddies safe, and now you must die like the rest of the planet you are currently stuck in".
Herbert Moon Halo reach campaign really gave you a feeling that the humzn race is in war. Older halo games were more like being an invisible super sholdier
Wut? In ODST the Cov glassed the damn planet and you had almost no one to help you and everyone was dead In Halo 2 you had to face armadas of their fleets and it was honestly overwhelming In Halo 1 it was sparse at first but the longer you played the more of a threat the enemies began And well Halo 3 was about fighting the flood more than anything else and was easy mode
Memes_a_Million Agreed. I dumped hundreds of hours into this game. I haven’t touched it in 5ish years but this makes me want to dust off my Xbox 360 and play this gem again.
Honestly reach is pretty solid, as a veteran halo player who started with combat evolved i think every halo up until 4 and 5 is great, i do however have a few reservations on a few things. firstly, i dont think armour abilities should have had a place in matchmaking, they felt like more of a gimmicky way to counter another players playstyle which i feel takes away from the core design philosophy of halo, i.e everyone starts with equal footing and has to earn an advantage such as power weapons. Would have preferred for them to be implemented into maps much like how invisibility and overshield power ups were, at least that way the could have been individually balanced for each map. Next the DMR replacing the classic BR never sat well with me, never warmed to it and lastly the frag grenades in reach are like shot putts, they have almost no physics, it always felt like they took less skill to throw accurately and strategically to secure kills and more like a panic button any player could press right as they died to ensure a martydom kill from the grave on your attacker if they came in close to melee finish you. didn't mean to rant, just curious as to whether other long time players share my views
Yeah I did not like the new grenade throwing arc. I'm sure it was partly to throw off the veterans like us who got deadly accurate by Halo 3 with them. Same with switching out the BR for something with bloom, that nade&BR combo felt kinda broken when you got it down pat. I have played some custom game modes in Reach where the armor abilities are on the map though that was rare and it was usually custom with friends and their map for it. It's hard to say how much of it is the game mode recommendation team not pushing for armor abilities on the map game modes or people in general preferring the loadout style. It could be as simple as people don't like change/don't want to have to find their precious armor lock or jetpack on the map they want it instantly lol.
I actually like the way grenades handle in reach. While they do seem to be stuffed with helium, they can take advantage of the far superior physics engine that reach provides, providing a more lifelike behavior. The arc also means greater range and reach over obstacles like railings. I also liked the bloom. It provided incentive to burst fire and practice trigger discipline, which combined with a greater emphasiz on directional damage and a partitioned health bar, created a certain skill gap, however subtle. Wasn’t too fond of the dmr, but it was a nice alternative to the sniper rifle at long ranges, and not at all bad in the campaign and firefight modes. I also love the look of the game. My journey started at halo ce as well, fyi (tho i played it after halo 2’s release, in order)
The grenade was less tactical. You could no longer toss it just over walls without needing to bounce it off a ceiling or predict movement as far back because it was faster. It has its pros of course, especially with raw TTK with nade gun combo being quickened by making that aspect faster, but it just wasn't as fun or adaptable as the slower artillery angle nades for me personally. I am thankful they changed it though, noobs would've struggled a lot with nade spam with how good decent players on average got with them by end game Halo 3. My annoyance with weapon bloom is it adds an element of luck, you can either play it for luck or you can play it for skill, if you get lucky you will DPS race win against someone pacing their shots and that can be beyond infuriating in a tense DMR duel if I'm using the DMR correctly and I still lose because the noob spammer got lucky.
Silas Stryder While one might argue that the bloom effect creates an element of luck, it does so with a certain margin of error. Ignoring the range at which you shouldn’t pace your shots, the further the range, the more pacing and good aim will matter. Even when you do end up losing a fight due to luck, consider that they will consistently do less damage, those which do not pace their shots. They might get lucky that one time, but if they for instance, have an average hit ratio 20% lower than you, then they will average less damage, so while it might be frustrating that one time, the other times, you will win simply because you hit more consistently, averaging a higher overall damage per shot. Either way, halo can never truly be competitive until it’s ported to PC. The accuracy, speed and flexibility of a mouse simple can’t be matched with a controller using joysticks. This would also remove the need for ”bullet magnetism”, overly generous hitboxes and aim assist. Not to mention, a low latency monitor at 144hz would do wonders for fluidity, potentially removing the need for motion blur. Not likely to happen any time soon thoe, seeing as halo at least used to be a system seller.
I love everything about halo reach but my favorite got to be the campaign and the customization and you see your customization in the campaign and i love how balance the abilities are and they try but finally the maps for multiplayer.
XenoAlbedo halo 3 wasn't bad. That was the first you can customize your character. Especially if they achievement oriented and I loved that. Halo made me into a achievement hunter. But alas I am not an achievement hunter anymore :(
He means if you go onto MCC the armor customization is different than the separate games had instead of being able to choose separate pieces you have to choose a whole set
My favourite all round Halo game (well joint fave anyway). Easily spent the most time in matchmaking in Reach, most in forge, Second most (to H3) in custom games. A great campaign, and a fun evolution of firefight. Some really fun multiplayer modes were added with DLC. Armour customisation was fantastic, there was a real sense of progression, a reason to level up. With some fun commendation challenges to chase (and show off) across all the modes. It just worked. Bungie had pretty much perfected the Halo formula by Reach whilst still managing to change it up and keep it feeling fresh.
Ö _ The customisation in Reach was awesome, detailed gritty armour with loads of options and armour effects, made me put so many hours into earning credits
A year late but something I noticed before Reach went to MCC was there was a lot of Mexicans playing. Not only that, but they were good. Like really good.
Started to Play Reach again, love how beastly it feels the customization is awesome. I honestly came back to finish to get the Inheritor Rank and to get my Haunted Helmet that I should of gotten back in 2010. I got on and had to remember the blooming system and the radar, but once I got use to it I was amaze of how beastly I am on Reach getting 20+ kills per game. The sad thing is that I log into Reach using my Xbox One X and my wife uses the Xbox 360 to either watch Netflix or Hulu on my account. That being said when I log into my Xbox One X it logs her out of the 360 and I kill her entertainment yes their are times my wife logs back in and it logs me off the Xbox One X when I am in mid game of Reach lol but hey I do find cool people who still play and have become friends with them. I also have started to stream Reach on Twitch, One night I ended up with 28 kills and 6 death this guy send me a Message telling me that I cheated I responded I do not cheat if you want proof Come to my stream channel and check it out. He than responded: "Why are you streaming a 10 year old game sounds like your desperate to get viewers, me and my friends play Reach to have fun you should get some friends" .... in response I told him "look man I have many video games either new or old and I like to play them all for they are my games. If I want to stream any game that I enjoy playing and if I have anybody watching or not it does not matter, for I am playing Reach and older games or new ones because I enjoy playing them. What is it to you if I stream a game it should not matter a video game is a video game. You either play it or not if you enjoy it play it for you bought it for a reason not for it too just sit there and collect dust" I have been playing video games since I was 3 years old and I am 35 now and still play video games. I wish I would of saved all my consoles and games that I have ever been given or purchased, for I enjoyed them than and enjoy them now. O how time has changed, but all games are still the same its what you enjoy than play it don't let anyone put you down for what you enjoy and what you wanna play. Get out there if you are into playing video games don't be ashamed of it just remember there is life off the console that also needs to be done family, school, and friends IRL are important as well happy gaming!
Halo Reach honestly had the best campaign and multiplayer its quite underrated rn I wish they remastered it. Honestly as a kid I remember staying up late in custom games with like 18 people playing defend my house, arms way I think it was called and many more. I had such great experiences with halo reach and I just wish I could go back to that more simpler time.
___kimon Invasion is essentially impossible to play now, it’s so hard to find a game unless people are searching in teams and if you find a team rather than actually playing the objective they tend to just spawn trap you, it’s quite sad.
Jayden Bloomfield Yeah, I Feel You. People Been Spawn Trapping For Years, You Can Get Spawn Trapped On Any Invasion Map. I Usually Play By Myself But I Play With A Team Sometimes So I Can Avoid Being Spawn Trapped.
Best gamemode in Reach. Elites vs Spartans, capture the objective or kill the most enemies. So sad that Elites are gone in the newer games, I would've loved to play as a Storm Zealot in Halo 4.
Yeah the forge community is really creative in making custom game-modes with what Reach offers - like one of my favorites that I think was called "Land slide" just a silly mode where you'd be running up a huge incline while random objects were infinitely spawning and falling down to crush you or set you back, where the only goal was to get to the top. It was way more fun than it should've been. Then also thanks to the forge there are (or at least a few years ago *were*) a shit ton of clans engaging in "Clan Wars" challenging and raiding each other on their custom maps and shit, with some people even acting as spies to get the opposing clan base maps for their actual team so they could study it and learn all the secrets built in to them. Granted there wasn't any intrinsic game rewards or long term effects at all but it was a huge social experience and a lot of fun seeing who's over-all tactics and clans proved superior, which I thought was a lot more fun than most of the base game modes :D
Ya I remember staying up till like 3 and playing split screen co-op forge and making huge bases having sniper battle or just spawning in a fuck ton of vehicles
Just bought it on ebay for like $12 and I'm so stoked to play it again as I'm on a big halo kick right now. I got the MCC and have been playing through them as I never played 1 & 2, but I'm having a blast with it and the multiplayer has been fun as well. Although I heard playing Reach on the xbox one was kinda rough as it doesn't emulate it well or something and gets bad frame rate drops? Is that true? It seems fine in your video, that's for sure. I'd love to be able to play it on my one as its so much easier to have it all on one console. Also, man that campaign was a heart wrench. When Kat died my jaw literally dropped :(.
Thank you all for 100,000 subscribers. I don't know what I would do without you all.
Thank you,

Hey Luke, would you think a req system for the campaign would be a good idea. But have it apart of score attack? It would be a nice addition of if they could. And maybe people would play the game longer
And congrats on 100k subs. We need a Travis video for that
You are probably the only channel I really watch for Halo. And Halo Follower. I highly respect both of you awesome dudes.
Lol I was playing halo reach earlier, luke is online so much of the time
Anyone else watching this after the announcement it's coming to PC and the master Chief collection?
Ye
Yep
Yep 👍🏻
Yeah one right here mate
The armor in reach is still gonna be the same so dont worry and they might be adding more armor in reach
Played Halo Reach today after watching this and had a great time! So glad the Reach community is still active!
If there was a game I wish they'd port to PC, It'd be Reach.
All the more reason to PC port it if you ask me. Anyone that can play Overwatch today can have a Halo Reach experience in 60 fps and all that jazz. The port would take time tho xD
@ArchdukeOfBreezy
I'd actually prefer if the overwatch crowd stayed away from halo. Give me some old school TF2 players instead.
Fair point mate xD
Itachi Uchiha If only 343 would give some TLC to the servers & do a few last bug fixes
I got onto my 360, activated Xbox live. Brings back so many memories. Halo Reach will go down as one of the greatest games of all time. It just saddens me when I saw all my Reach buddies haven’t been on in 3+ years.
Elijah Petersen add me i wanna preserve games on 360

Who still play?

Whoops.
This is the best halo game ever made, and now that it’s coming to PC it’s even better
It had the best story, and the best multiplayer
It’s the last Halo game Bungie made and the last Halo game that was done *right*
It’s always going to be in my heart as the most amazing game ever released
Same
Same here too
Love this game
CoolDrify I’d say Halo 3 multiplayer was far more superior. Overall the fun factor in H3 was just better, and it would’ve reached legendary level if Bungie included a custom game browser. What Reach got right was including the community’s work and favorites (infection, griffball, firefight, etc.) in their own matchmaking.
Halo 3 was arguably the best out of the series for mostly everything.
Halo 2 was better. Halo 3 plays better though.

Noah Draper did u try HALO CANNON?
I watch and enjoy the content created by both halo cannon and Hidden Xperia but as far as content I CARE about, this guy manages to answer questions and put insight into what I love most about the halo series, especially due to how much he pays homage to people who grew up with the franchise.
Noah Draper so true.
I still play it time to time, even I got to inheritor years ago. I also enjoy doing commandations. Im currently at 87% and have unlocked everything including both flaming armor effects.
So, you got everything in the game?
Legitti You could have edited your comment just saying
i will never get the campain commandations, but i got allmost all in matchmaking :D greez from austria

TheDeadlyVoid what are you on about 😂
I loved the campaign.
TheLeadhound couldn’t agree any more with your statement.. the chills I used to get when I played that mission haven’t been recreated in a game since

Reach was the last good halo game.

Besides, ODST is un the mcc so why not Reach?
MythicTyrant If they add Reach to MCC it will mess up the playerbase of the 360 Version, I also want to have credits and full customisation which most likely would not make it into MCC due to the dumbed down customisation.
I personally wouldn't mind it if they add a feaature where you enter the proof of purchase code on the 360 versions into the MCC database and allow for those who have it to play it without having to buy a download.
about time 343 doe something good
because Reach was the last Halo bungie game and only Bungie can make good Halo games :/

Ö _ lmao you say it as though it was a historic event. The Truce of Grifball. I loved it though
Your so toxic , grifball wasn’t meant to farm and sit still
xMerciless Blame Bungie, the base gametypes don’t give enough credits at higher ranks.

Just for that comment I’m ganna subscribe to you 😂😂😂
Well with the recent news it shouldn't be going down anytime soon

SuperAinsleyVitality my favorite weapon. I wish i could loadout on all maps with it.
Yeah not inconsistent at all, the dmr is a beast if you are also a beast.
SuperAinsleyVitality because it's random and not why people played Halo. Hints why the franchise died.
I mean, there was bullet spread on the Halo 3 BR that could be a pain. The DMR helped in that sense because while you could still suffer with the bullet spread from the bloom, if you slowed down it was actually more accurate in general.
SuperAinsleyVitality nobody argued for Halo 3. Bullet spread made Halo 3 just as shit.
Now it's coming to PC. Can't wait to play some multiplayer again!
The best casual FPS ever to come to console.

James Somogyi K
James, they included Halo ODST as a $20 DLC. So yes, they would add a game like Reach to the MCC.
Wow, i thought halo reach was dead but i still have a copy of the disc that im gonna play now.
"the DMR still can't shoot straight" well, i can't say for everyone but the DMR is a god damn master piece of a weapon in reach that shoot very accurate, it just needs to have some timed shots and keeping calm and the gun could carry you through out the game.
TheRussianbear
At longer ranges you can crouch to maintain accuracy. Not a lot of people know this.
Maintenance Renegade nah, no bloom no sprint was 100x better
Wut? In ODST the Cov glassed the damn planet and you had almost no one to help you and everyone was dead
In Halo 2 you had to face armadas of their fleets and it was honestly overwhelming
In Halo 1 it was sparse at first but the longer you played the more of a threat the enemies began
And well Halo 3 was about fighting the flood more than anything else and was easy mode
I remember when I got cursed out 4 years ago for saying halo reach was the best game and I still think it's the best halo game
TBH that was just an extra ending so I don't really consider it to be part of the game

Not likely to happen any time soon thoe, seeing as halo at least used to be a system seller.
bullet magnetism and aim assist was basically the only reason I was any good at SWAT or team snipers lol
How could you not talk about SWAT mode ??
Completely agree. Reach SWAT was by far the best. No spray and pray BR battles, the DMR is way less forgiving
Announcer: SQUAT. It’s been stuck in my head for years, now it’ll be in yours. ❤️🤷♂️
By far the best experience I’ve had in any FPS game. Was upset that the DMR wasn’t in the most recent swats
Firefight was fun when u customised it while waiting for a couple friends
EXACLTY that mode was ICONIC in the game imo..definitely one of the best modes ever in all the halo games
I love everything about halo reach but my favorite got to be the campaign and the customization and you see your customization in the campaign and i love how balance the abilities are and they try but finally the maps for multiplayer.
Reach was my favourite halo game.
Reach is my 2nd favorite
Reach is my least favorite tbh.
Arc 48 you are weird af
Soldierkimi It’s not as loved by the community as you think.
Well
Now I want Reach
CE 117 You...You don’t have Reach...
xMerciless used to. But even then, I didn’t have an internet connection then so I want it back
Luke TheNotable you have encouraged me to get back to playing halo reach thank you
Now Halo Reach is in Master Chief Collection, and is coming to PC. HELL YES
I'm so damn HYPED!
WE'RE COMING HOME
Is it compatible with Xbox servers?
If Reach comes to the MCC, my worry would be that the customization would be gutted like it was with 3 and 4.
XenoAlbedo halo 3 wasn't bad. That was the first you can customize your character. Especially if they achievement oriented and I loved that. Halo made me into a achievement hunter. But alas I am not an achievement hunter anymore :(
theterrordivine he was talking about Halo 3 on MCC. It has next to no customization compared to the actual Halo 3.
Halo 4 had brilliant customization, I dunno what you're talking about. You could change everything separately, just like Reach.
He means if you go onto MCC the armor customization is different than the separate games had instead of being able to choose separate pieces you have to choose a whole set
Patrick Battle
Ahh right.. gotcha. I thought he was referring to standalone Halo 4.
All the map packs are free by the way, so it adds some more reply value to all that didn't want to pay for all the packs. Best multiplayer game ever.
Zilnich Productions the map packs were free because they were community made forge maps, reach was good but the maps were terrible
@@Axoe the maps are good wtf are you talking about
theDragons Keep name 3 good halo reach maps, bet they are sword base, boardwalk and asylum. That game had 3 good maps then 20 trash maps
@@Axoe ya no there are atleast 10 good maps honestly i don't know where you get off thinking there is only 3 good maps.
theDragons Keep yet you couldnt think of their names in the 7 hours since i commented, reach maps were so forgettable
All the 360 games are like that currently. 3, reach and 4.
I want Halo Reach remastered o:
Painkiller9015 only if they exclude micro transactions which I know will not happen.
Frantic! It wouldn't be a remaster if they added them so
Painkiller9015 Halo Reach Anniversary must to be coming on 2020, for Xbox and PC(Windows 10)
O EXILADO #ConTV i would cry of happiness
Painkiller9015 only if Bungie makes it
Started to Play Reach again, love how beastly it feels the customization is awesome. You either play it or not if you enjoy it play it for you bought it for a reason not for it too just sit there and collect dust"
I have been playing video games since I was 3 years old and I am 35 now and still play video games.
What i loved most about Halo Reach, is the lack of micro transactions.
ChrisUAnimation it was all special effects, thats about it
Eg. Blue fire
Gotta get dem Credits from grifball boi
ChrisUAnimation that shouldn't be a high point, it should be standard :/
Halo Reach honestly had the best campaign and multiplayer its quite underrated rn I wish they remastered it. Honestly as a kid I remember staying up late in custom games with like 18 people playing defend my house, arms way I think it was called and many more. I had such great experiences with halo reach and I just wish I could go back to that more simpler time.
Luke the Notable whose rank is Noble
I see XD
XD
I was called radicallegend and I had the rank of legend.... Don't want to level up any more
Aaron Thomas that's how I feel
I feel like a Halo Reach master-chief remaster would just split the community. Reach’s community is alive and well, don’t fix what’s not broken.
They should just do it like Halo 3, 60 fps and fix some game breaking glitches and you got a fine addition to the MCC.
I got news for ya...
@@spikesya what?
Dashonte Lamarcus it’s coming to mcc
MAXIMUM ACCURACY MAXIMUM ARMOR LOCK MAXIMUM SADNESS
I GOT A HEART MAXIMUM HAPPINESS
Plz add me I'm following you I'm ApexPredator749

NCR Elite Riot Officer Yeah
NCR Elite Riot Officer not all of an plasma pistol still shutdown vehicles
Hard to believe that in 2019 halo reach is almost 9 years old
Zachary Moore doge man
Where My Invasion Players At?
___kimon Invasion is essentially impossible to play now, it’s so hard to find a game unless people are searching in teams and if you find a team rather than actually playing the objective they tend to just spawn trap you, it’s quite sad.
Jayden Bloomfield Yeah, I Feel You. People Been Spawn Trapping For Years, You Can Get Spawn Trapped On Any Invasion Map. I Usually Play By Myself But I Play With A Team Sometimes So I Can Avoid Being Spawn Trapped.
#1 in my state for invasion 😎
Best gamemode in Reach. Elites vs Spartans, capture the objective or kill the most enemies. So sad that Elites are gone in the newer games, I would've loved to play as a Storm Zealot in Halo 4.
Elites should’ve had more armor lol
Remember Reach...
Before watching, calling #1 forge
Jonah Goodwin i know I have it, only problem is if u make forge world u have no room to add other items. I’d say add forge world as a map already!
Yes for sure
Jonah Goodwin but halo reach was so simple
R.I.P.
Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo Reach Servers.
You forgot about the huge forge-community :D
There where so many funny modes created by the community :)
I remember being part of a clan called the Forgotten Spartans, no idea how i remember it i was like 9, but it was so cool.
Let’s all get back in halo reach!
I think what I loved most about halo reach is that you had to grind to get that max rank and all the armors you couldn't just buy it.
