For that mold issue you can use 20 percent peroxide in spray bottle treat about once let sit for 10 min and repeat tell it’s gone and won’t rust your boat
Great video ! What’s you evening before preparation for a day out or charter the next day ? How often do you have to plug the boat in for charging purposes ?
I honestly dont prep very much the night before anymore. I did the first few years but now I pretty much only gather up my baits for the next day. I dont run a trolling motor so I don't plug in very often at all. I have showed up to a low battery maybe once or twice since I have owned the boat and its always been my fault for leaving something on.
None at all, I make sure the bolts stay tight. I am a big guy and I use it quite a bit. I have put at least a thousand hours on the boat since its been on there. I had that concern myself but I can say I have had no issues.
Great video thanks. I’ve been looking for a good first hand review on one of these boats. Nice custom top you had built for the center console. How shallow have you run the boat?
Thank you for your comment first off. I make long runs in a foot and a half to 2 feet fairly comfortably. But I know my area pretty well. The boat can run in right around a foot in an emergency situation but my heart is racing and the jack plate is maxed out and the motor is cavitating.
Captain's Honest awesome thanks. That’s about the same on the lowest I run through now in my bay system. I saw one of these boats this summer and instantly fell in love. Started doing research and I love the boat set up. You don’t see to many sea pro’s in Texas unfortunately. I like the top you had made did you opt for that over their top for more casting space?
@@jasonwitchet5056 Yes, I needed more space then their cover allowed but needed some shade. That top has spoiled me now ill always have one just like it.
I’m looking at these boats now but I’m concerned with the 300 as apposed to the 350...what’s your max speed vs rpm...any information is greatly appreciated...thanks for the review!!
I adjusted my prop to launch harder which dropped my top end and I rarely max out speed wise but original setup max speed would be about 50 55 dry. After prop change max speed dry about 47 ish , max speed with clients about 43
Hey there I’m looking at getting the 319 deep v. The sales man was telling me not to go with black but I wanna do the same as you I like that black with the darker seats. He was telling me I’d have to buff it a lot but I’m not leaving it in the water all the time I’m leaving it on the trailer and I’ll wash it after every trip
@@captainshonest7823 when it does get hazy what’s best for use to compound then polish(wax) with a buffer or should you go with the dual action polisher I get mixed videos on here. This will be my first boat also by the way sorry for the questions
Mine is pretty new so I haven't had any haze issue. My boat has never seen shade in its life, this video is straight out of the water and pressure washed and that's it. Im not the best person to answer as far as buffing to be honest. I dont mind the questions, wish I had a better answer for you
I was wondering what your thoughts were on the manifold drainage system that appears to exit under the motor under the water line. Have you had any issues with water backing up or water in the bilge?
In the market for a new 248.. I’m coming from a Blazer Bay 2200, and curious on your opinion if Sea Pro has addressed the issues you mentioned in this video. Good and informative video, thanks for your time
Honestly I am not sure, im sure with all the import issues we are having as a country I doubt too much has changed. I will say all of the issues I have had so far have been pretty easy fixes. I put a lot of abuse towards this boat and it stays in the salt water and in the sun every day. I am planning on doing a updated video for this year here soon. The only new issue was that the large face plate with the foot braces on the console broke loose because the bolts were glued on. I just drilled new holes and through bolted it. All things considered I would buy another Sea Pro with no hesitation even with the minor issues I have had.
We just bought a 172 bay seapro. How do you hold the ice cooler on top of the front cooler that comes with the boat?
One of the best video reviews I’ve seen.
Pulled no punches. Sea pro could learn something from you. Tight lines friend!

Ill give that a try, thank you for posting that.

I really appreciate the honesty I never comment or subscribe to anything. I'm torn between this boat and a seaborn 25. Good review
All that stuff is warranted
I like how every issue is one issue
Great video. What kind of sunglasses do you have on? Thanks.
Nice video, man. I'm trying to decide what to get next.

Do you still have this boat? Still going strong?
Answering while standing in the boat. 1400 hours and going strong
@@captainshonest7823 only minor issues still? Are you thinking about doing another video?
Only minor normal stuff. I need to do another one soon

300 is more than enough. Not sure of rpm to speed. But the boat launches hard with 4 clients and me. Even in shallow water

I have had very little issue with the black hull. I was told the same thing and I disagree with them. I will get black again

It does back up into the rear of the boat when there is a lot of weight in the rear but it hasn't been much of an issue.
No issues with leakage into the bilge
Wasn't there a warranty on the items you mentioned?
Absolutely, Seapro warranties the whole boat.
