@@damiondunn4663 Ninja combos are usually the hardest if your opponent DI well so it's normal to struggle a bit at first. Once you are more confident with movement and all your possible options it should be ok

what are all the pauses you see in yomi hustle fights. as if the fight freezes for a second. is time not stopping? is that just representing some kind of mechanic?
The entire game is played turn by turn going through each pause. Each turn you have to select what move you want to do for the next few frames. What you see here is the replays which remove the pauses.
Sometimes when a hit lands, the game lags for a second for visual effect. Is that what you mean? Like a really heavy punch will pause everything for a few frames.
Taken from my other comment: It's basically repeating whipwave at melee range. And that's what gub did while saying it. Tbh it's not much of a tech but just a funny meme in the community.
