It's waterproof and now available in retractable, you missed the most important stuff. Energel only sell a few waterproof but gellyroll all colors are waterproof. Can't find that anywhere else.
There is a click version of the Gelly Roll, called Ballsign Knock, equipped with a 0.4 mm tip (and also with a 0.2 mm tip), but probably is hard to find outside Japan. Maybe Jetpens has it. By the way, what notebook are you using?
These were the ONLY pens I wrote with in high school. I lived on Guam at the time (military brat) and they were a little hard to find. At least for me because my parents only took me to the Exchange to shop. I was always in trouble for turning work in in the neon yellow, plus I had super tiny handwriting. My teachers could never read my work, lol.
Nice review. Just by the way your talking and your demonstration, it looks like that you will have to replace the pen after about 5 pages of 8.5x11 of note taking. It sure looks like a " Feel Good " item that my neighbor's kid can pick up for herself when we take her shopping. Thanks for your time and effort for posting. Stay safe.
These were a status symbol back in elementary school lol
They do now have a refill for black on their website. It would be nice to get refills for all colors for environment care
Oh and ballsign is their japanese version. Smaller point but does come in retractable!
Sakura made the first gel pen and OHTO actually ended up making the first rollerball pen. Japanese stationery! 😍
I would like to see more Korean made gel pens like the Dong-A Miffy Scented Gel Pen.

I have the white in 0.5 and 0.8. I'm unsure about other colors, but they can be found in Michael's.
I just got a classic with brown ink in a .08 point real nice waiter.

Yea, ball sign is quite similar, different product line of course. The notebook is a travelers notebook insert. Midori paper
One of staple member when I was in middle school. Taken a lot of notes with them until that Hitec-C came out, everyone switched to it..
