Thanks for your review. Based on it, I purchased two of these, one for me, and the other a gift. I'm very pleased with the look and feel, and especially the ease of writing. I haven't stopped using it since I received it, and it's a pleasure to use.
I discovered this pen on while vacation and immediately took to it. The 0.5 refill is very smooth with no skips or anything like that. I have an OHTO 0.4 in it now. That refill started out pretty smooth but the longer I use it, the less smooth it writes. I don't know if it is defective or not. I also discovered that the blue pen does not really look much different from the black in anything but the strongest light. Nice review, thanks very much.
I have this same pen. The Pelikan 338 rollerball refill fits perfect. It is the same shape and length as the Ohto refill. They're effectively the same refill. I wouldn't be surprised if they are produced by the same factory.
Ceramic rollerballs are really nice. Great alternative to the rubber grip, which is why i never bought the 01. Ohto's refills are solid and reliable. Thanks for the heads-up. Very clean review, as always.
I think the Kaweco Rollerball refill will fit this and vice versa. When I have found one of these for a decent price I'll try it out against a Perkeo rollerball (Last rollerball buy)
Just picked up one of these based on your review, but mine has a satisfying snap when the cap goes on. They must have heard you. I got the black with gold hardware. Do you know what the difference is between the regular c-305 and the c-305p refill? I can't figure out what the "p" means, but there seems to be a price difference on Amazon ("p" model seeming cheaper).
Based on descriptions on Rakuten, c305 and c305p are the exact same refill. The the c305 is packed in a single plastic packaging, while c305p is packed into a plastic tube
The CR02 is essentially the replacement for the OHTO Liberty, which appears to have been discontinued. They both have nearly the same design, but just enough difference to be... different.
It seems to be something similar with the Celsus and CR01, even down to the Celsus having the rubber and weird tip design and the Liberty not, more like the CR02.
I love how this pen writes, but I notice some feathering when I write on both my leuchtturm and stalogy notebooks. Do you know if there is a paper this works well on?
yes it does. here is a video of someone trying the pen with other refills. th-cam.com/video/cmTsCcKJ8VE/w-d-xo.html it also works with zebra sarasa and uniball signo refills
I am so happy I found your channel! It is refreshing and brings all the pen nerd feels❤
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh interesting. Hadn’t thought about that. Will check into it
Excellent review.

Thanks!
Just ordered it can’t wait to try it on a sketch
I also prefer the larger .07 or 1.0 if available. That .05 looks pretty good so assume the .07 is nice.

High end rollerball pen thanks for review
How much do these Ohto pens remind you of the older Tombow CD rollerballs?

I honestly can’t tell the difference between the two with my initial research. Would love to hear if anyone knows definitively

Oh good call. I didn’t realize they stopped making the Liberty!

Looks good 👍🏻
You are a posting fool recently !
Great news for us !!

Leuchtturm feathers with rollerballs and moleskine weirdly doesn’t
Does the Pentel Energel Refill work in this pen? Great video btw!
yes it does. here is a video of someone trying the pen with other refills. th-cam.com/video/cmTsCcKJ8VE/w-d-xo.html it also works with zebra sarasa and uniball signo refills
@kuanee thank you!
Scribedriver Bolt Action Pen by tech media giant LTT is in stock right now! might be fun to review
the CR02 and the Dude from Ohto both take a Energel / Pilot G2 refill, any chance you can try and let us know?
Can confirm that cr01 fits pentel energel perfectly so assume same with cr02 🙏
Fwiw a little aquaphor or Vaseline similar does wonders on that squeaky thread
That’s a great tip, thanks for sharing!
Uni 207+ refills fit in there if want gel. I prefer ohto refills but uni 207+ are awesome
I’m in the minority because I don’t like capped pens. I like to click and get rolling !
Lots of the time I lose the cap ! 😉
