Easily the worst thing that could be said about oddware, in my eyes. Usually these things are at least some kind of silly fun, but this one just... ugh!
I used to work in CAD drafting, and it was an amazing help when I upgraded from a standard mouse to a Logitech MX800 with its mappable extra buttons. But that mouse was both ergonomic, and supported with great drivers. All the same, someone had to pioneer the idea. Hats off to Power Mouse for failingly plowing the ground for others to follow and improve.
Agreed, as a CNC machinist I could use it, but it’s only useful for programming and older machines with a SATA serial interface which new machines don’t usually have anymore because programs are sent over Via WiFi or USB
TheSonicsean haven't used one in about 6 years. I'm not even old at all (16), I had a ball mouse many years ago and the last one I had broke. Of course now I have my fancy Razer Death adder mouse so that's that, upgraded to that from a Dell ball mouse years ago lmao
@6:00 I understand why you think it shouldn't cost $100 more than the regular version, but never underestimate how little some people care about spending their company's money. I bet they sold a bunch of these to engineering firms and such.

I love how LGR reviews this as if people are going to use it for its intended purpose. The only use that mouse is going to see is Twitch streamers doing one of those weird challenges like soloing a Destiny raid with a dance pad

Actually, I could see this being pretty useful for modern CAD. I’d like to see how it affects my workflow, since I take my hand off the mouse specifically to use the basic shape functions and type in numbers most of the time.

I would feel a little sorry if you didn't have a scroll whell on your mouse though. (I'm actually secretly hoping you send me a link to a mouse with multiple scroll wheels lol)
Penguin DT Actually that’s a common complaint I have. I haven’t used a traditional two button mouse for a very long time. I always buy the Logitech one with at least two more buttons and left scroll and right scrolls. And that’s not even for my desktop, that one is the Logitech Gaming one with the 16 plus buttons or so.

Why do you need all that on a mouse just to play command and conquer?😉
