Fantastic progress & you’re hard workers! It must’ve been cozy when your friends arrived (I did see the video of them arriving amidst the storm). I trust that you’re doing well after you were out helping in the neighborhood. I pray that the worst hit parts keep getting help. Blessings to all 🤗🇨🇦🌻
It is going to look SO warm and cozy in that living once you get the floors in and everything put back together! Oh my goodness, I can't wait to see it 😀
With you on the moody rooms. Our house is a white with pink undertone all over and one bathroom was pink pink. I did Cracked Pepper in our two bathrooms and the windows shine, bringing the outside in. I did leave the ceiling a white color. Then cooped up last winter we painted the kitchen cabinets with Cheating Heart (black with a blue undertone) and after the initial nerves, I just love it now! Grounded the cabinets and the countertops match. Your green is a nice color, can't wait to see the finished product. Glad you weathered the storm.
Me, personally, I would have left/repainted the fireplace wall a darker green as an accent wall, but it's lovely either way. And the distressed look of the fireplace is growing on me. Maybe you also need a stronger paint stripper to work on that? No matter what, you guys have made incredible progress, and I look forward to the finished project almost as much as you!
As a painters wife. Always paint ceilings first then walls. Otherwise you'll get paint splatter spots on the finished walls. Looks great, I love sage green too!
Hope you are okay from Helene. The floor is really beautiful, and the livingroom rug is perfect with your green walls. It's going to be gorgeous! Can't wait to see the reveal. 😍😍
I have the exact same color scheme in my LR... I have 8 windows... the green blends with the green outside... the white trim keeps it from feeling dark. Fyi... we met for the 2nd time at FAB...
Glad you are all right after the hurricane, and the renovations are showing real progress. Bet you all are excited, and I hope your friends could come visit you in the storm.
The painting and floor where the most exiting part of our renovation. We have simuliar floors and we painted our kitchen tea leave green a dark beautiful soothing color and goes so well with our hickory cabinets. Lots of work but so worth it and its coming together beautifully. So exiting to watch! Love the rug, great choice!
I think I have that green, but it’s just in an accent cabinet that I painted the walls in my house are white because I’m older like the brightness. My vision is not that great anymore but that green is my accent color and I have a cabinet in my brother built me like 30 years ago and it had been painted one color forever and I decided to paint it that green I think It’s kind of like a sage green. Maybe yours is a little dark. It looks a lot like mine but I love it. I do love it. I actually have some frames that have pictures in it and they have that sage green and it Pops real good with the white -Lovely
I love the rug you put down in the green room (living room?). Where did you get it? It’s exactly what I have been looking for 😁. I love the color green too. There’s lots of info on search engines about the psychology of the color green if you’re ever interested in reading about it. Great video. I’ve renovated 2 houses and just started on my 3. I know how you feel.
It says the size I ordered (8x10) is currently unavailable but I got it on sale for $70 and it’s a fantastic rug. I was shocked at how nice it is for that cheap!
Nope, everything I was able to capture during the hurricane has already been posted in a video. I was trying to conserve my battery & was more concerned with safety than trying to capture the storm. It was extremely windy, rain with the sounds of trees cracking in half and falling over.
Not sure what you mean about giving it a rest? And the kitchen has already been painted in previous videos. We went with white elsewhere because it’s much better for filming, and we want the rest of the house to feel nice & bright.

I have 2 sage green rooms: guest bedroom and sunroom. It’s a restful color.
Hope you are okay from Helene. The floor is really beautiful, and the livingroom rug is perfect with your green walls. It's going to be gorgeous! Can't wait to see the reveal. 😍😍

Glad you are all right after the hurricane, and the renovations are showing real progress. Bet you all are excited, and I hope your friends could come visit you in the storm.
I could feel your excitement as you made progress. I’m very excited for you as you make your way to checking off one more project!

Found it! Thank you.

Will there be a video showing the sounds the hurricane made?
Nope, everything I was able to capture during the hurricane has already been posted in a video. I was trying to conserve my battery & was more concerned with safety than trying to capture the storm. It was extremely windy, rain with the sounds of trees cracking in half and falling over.
What is the name of that flooring and what kind is it? Vinyl plank?
❤
👍🎃
Maybe you should give it a rest and buy new brushes, are you not going to put any color in the kitchen?
Not sure what you mean about giving it a rest? And the kitchen has already been painted in previous videos. We went with white elsewhere because it’s much better for filming, and we want the rest of the house to feel nice & bright.
@@calicocowacres I mean just wait till friends leave and resume the fireplace
@ that’s what we ended up doing, working on it again today actually:)
