As a Nitro fanboy, I never thought id have this kind of fun with electric. Love my Xmaxx. I still miss the smell of the engines, but this is too much fun.
We need more nitros though

I got so excited. I was at a funeral and saw the notification and thumbnail and thought it was for the new Emaxx 2.0 with a scaled fown Xmaxx chassis. Im gonna keep on dreaming until traxxas makes it.

I love my xmaxx. Never broke any plastics yet and I bash pretty hard but the gears (pinion and spur), esc, and inner bearings on the carriers definitely need to be revised if they come out with a 3.0
When did they add a green version? I must've missed that.

They're an amazing machine other than the stock esc is more often than not a crib death. Worked at a hobby shop last winter, sold 4 of them, 3 of which made less than one pack before the esc died..
You should come out with a razor body for the Traxxas x-maxx 8s
My traxxas vxl8s esc started smoking. I put xt90 connectors on so am I out of luck or could I still get it repaired for a discount price?

Love my XMaxx, getting ready to paint the third body, I’ve had it since 6s, upgraded to 8s and have had nothing but fun bashing the living hell out of it.
Sounds like me only I started with the 8s green version! Put a hobbywing max6 in it with some stronger 20/50 gears and she flies now!

It's not completely waterproof traxxas probably says it's 100 percent waterproof but the electronics are right in the open it the gears are slowly rusting and stuff like that honestly I'm surprised you think it's waterproof

Track vehicle? They have the 4 tec 2.0 (brushed/brushless) which is very good. If you mean something else, then I don't know what you are talking about.

Makes me want another Xmaxx but my first one (first run of 6s when the xmaxx released) was so bad and had so many issues, that I had to get rid of it. It had to be completely rebuild with new outer driveshafts (dogbones) new electronics (because the stock eac went into thermal shutdown after 4 runs) and new bearings (again after 4 runs the diff and spur bearings went out). I kept the body and wheels/tires for my summit project (see video on my channel for that if yoy want / this is not a plug). It was so bad that I can bring myself to spend $700-$1000 on a new one.
Please read my post above, Traxxas made it seem like I was the only one having these issues. Mine was a 6s as well. But I went through two radio systems because after installing that telemetry system it crashes my radios after they update. Every time this truck goes out it breaks that's why I kept the 6s because anything more is too much for it.
