Not sure. I don’t own an Xbox and my only experience with a wheel is on PlayStation. Only thing I can suggest would be to check the pedal connection into the wheel. I’m sure you’ve already done that but just my first thought. I have heard that the internal connection is easily severed on the g/series pedals. I do not however know if there’s anything you can do about that. I’m sure it’s fixable. Sorry I can’t help though.
I play on pc with g920 the controlling works but it has 0 feedback even on the controller no vibration at all, also if I change the wheel settings game stops responding to the wheel completely

You pretty much need to also have a controller available. For map usage and easier camera control. I can use the little spinning dial but it’s really slow. Other option is holding down a direction on the dpad.
I explained at 2:00 mark to set the wheel preset to common console preset. Pushing the button inside the red spinning dial should then open the map. You can’t navigate the map though without a controller. You can use the menu in the map no problem but actually moving the map and zooming you need a controller. Also, yes the red spinning dial should rotate your view as long as you have common console preset enabled. It’s really slow though so not useful.
because a vehicles steering wheel does not simply snap back to zero in real life, it uses friction and gravity like the description of the toggled options tell you if you actually read them.
when you make a game like this and you don't make a support for the steering wheel, you can't move the cursor on the map from the steering wheel and you start setting the gear yourself, it seems like a big mistake to me, the creators should leave the seasons and fix this thing immediately until then I abandoned the steering wheel for this game and the same game.
Personally I don’t really mind using a controller for the map and when using cranes. That’s fine with me. Mapping the gears to the shifter I also prefer. I wish we could completely remap the whole wheel however we would like though. At the end of the day wheel support has always been an afterthought. The game was designed to be played with a controller first and foremost.
I do not, sorry. In all honesty I haven’t played SnowRunner in a good while. I also have not used my wheel in a while. I use a g29 so that’s what I’m most familiar with. That being said wheels work with SnowRunner but the game really wasn’t designed to be played with a wheel and the implementation is pretty poor from Sabers part.
Well Logitech wheels are still bugged on PlayStation. Hopefully the season 11 update it is fixed which is releasing in about two weeks. You should still be able to see steering wheel settings however but the Logitech wheel will not work.
Logitech wheels are currently bugged on PlayStation. The only update saber has said is that they are working on a fix. The bug was introduced in the season 10 update.
I don’t have the Xbox wheel or have an Xbox but it should be somewhere right below your XYAB buttons on the face of the wheel. As for changing any of that you can’t as far as I know. Unless you can do it in your system settings for global button changes. SnowRunner only allows you to map gears to a shifter. Can’t remap any other buttons.
Good video on the steering wheel. But as any driver knows, a car's wheels do not go back to straight automatically in real life. So why people are saying this is strange in snowrunner is odd.
Thanks. I personally just don’t understand the setting. With a steering wheel sure it makes sense to have to recenter the wheels. Playing with a controller it makes no sense that you have to recenter the wheels. The wording of the steering setting is confusing. Either way play the way you like. Thanks for the comment!
Thinking of picking up a wheel for my PS5 as Snowrunner is my fave game. Heard mixed messages that the G29 is / isn't fixed ... anyone have a definitive answer after the latest update?
IMO it’s fixed and works the way it always used to before season 10 broke it. Some people claim the wheel used to auto center when you let go but I genuinely don’t ever remember my wheel doing that. So idk. SnowRunner is super fun with a wheel but keep in mind that you will need to have a controller on and within reach as you can’t really use the map well with just a wheel and things like cranes can also be a pain. It swaps seamlessly when both are connected so it’s not really an issue.

What the hell? It absolutely does. There's even a setting for it, which you showed in the ffb settings, the Spring gain. Kind of an L to the uploader here, unless i misunderstood the question. Not only does it work, i rely on it every time i turn, it saves 50% work, turning from one part of a muddy "S turn road" to the other. I have the game open right now and on the garage parking lot asphalt, if i turn my wheel fully to one side while stationary, let go of the wheel, then press the gas, as expected the car moves forward while the wheel is reverting back to center. I have the spring gain at 50 in the game setting. Edit; for a snarky comment about the irony of the Mandela effect part xD.
I don’t have an Xbox or a g920 so I can’t sorry. I don’t really see how it would really be much different though but I know Xbox has its fair share of issues with SnowRunner and I have had a lot of comments about the g920 not working properly.
It works on PS5. I find it strange Saber wouldn’t have fixed it for PS4 as well. It used to work on PS4 before it was broken by season 10. But I haven’t played SnowRunner on PS4 since 2021 when I got a PS5. Sorry I can’t help.
@@KCKIDD94 the same way you connect it to a ps4. Just make sure you’re using the front usb port. The wheel doesn’t like 3.0 ports and the rear ones are 3.0. I just leave the ps3/4 switch on ps4.
I’m gonna be honest with you. I haven’t played SnowRunner with my wheel in a while. What platform are you playing on? I’ve always seen that setting on the ps4/ps5 versions but I haven’t been in those settings in some time.

I’m using Logitech driving force but the wheel in the game is not turning all the way up at some point it just stops rotating do you know the problem?

That’s not possible. It’s only auto in this game. You can just map the different low/high/auto and reverse gears to the spots on the shifter.
